The dinner that was included was terrible. Like a buffet, different products are poured. The queues are long, there is one cook, until you wait for them to cook, you will have to stand in line for 40 minutes. What was already cooked and poured in large pots was swept away in the first half hour and no longer replenished. Breakfast there is normal. My advice, take a room with a sea view, there is a balcony. Other rooms that do not face the sea have no balcony and the windows do not open at all. There is a completely different view, a view of the construction site. You can save money, just don't buy your own dinners.
For people coming to China for the first time, the number of Chinese is, of course, astounding. But for us after Shanghai, everything was pretty familiar. Our room was on the eighth floor, quite large. Internet - wi-fi (maybe not relevant for someone). So you can talk on Skype quite calmly, and save money on your phone.
We took only breakfasts. Quite normal breakfasts. My daughter ate dumplings and pasta with sausages, yogurt. And for adults, you could eat different Chinese food.
The beach is public, but the sunbeds are from the hotel, and the guards constantly chased strangers away if they sat on the sunbeds. Beach towels - in the room. The sand is very small. The water is clear, no algae. Only the wave was almost constant, the child will not go into the water for a long time. But the surfers are expanse.
The hotel has a swimming pool with a children's section, and you can swim there.
At the expense of food. I do not understand those people who come to another country and look for Russian cuisine there. Moreover, Chinese cuisine is very diverse and very tasty. Especially there is a fish restaurant, which I highly recommend going to. There are giant shrimp! It is better to order them in sauce. And we ate different fish, but we liked the red snapper more and it was steamed. Our child ate it with pleasure. Also delicious cucumbers marinated in soy sauce, stewed eggplant, Chinese cabbage in a pan, stewed meat. We took soup too, for my daughter. Just keep in mind that they serve soup at the end, and a portion can be designed for eight people. But soup is inexpensive. For dinner, we got 300-350 yuan with beer.
There is also a restaurant there, it seems the name is associated with the Dragon. Also good. In general, choose a restaurant where there are a lot of Chinese. They certainly know what is best. ! Well, not all the same shish kebab with tomatoes is!
In terms of price-quality ratio, a normal stay. We are going to fly there next year, otherwise we recently flew to the Emirates - we were very upset, everything has changed for the worse over the past 10 years.
I think the hotel is normal - no frills but without any problems.
Near the sea - so 3 minutes there and three back.
The beach is good - clean BUT after 12 days, a lot of Chinese appear from somewhere who unceremoniously lay out under your nose, spit and spit . . so the beach can rightfully be considered almost urban.
In principle, there were enough sunbeds for those who came to 11-12 in the morning, but most often just by this time some vacationers are already going to the hotel after getting drunk. Paid sunbeds cost 100 yuan 2 pcs.
The room is ordinary - for 3 or 4 stars - there is everything you need TV refrigerator kettle hair dryer - upon arrival you have to ask for a board and an iron. The furniture is a bit old - but the legs did not fall off. But on the 7th and 8th floors there was a recent renovation and they say that everything is newer. The view must be discussed back in Russia, because if you do not take a sea view, then there will be a view of a terrible construction site and without a balcony.
The hotel has almost no territory.
Fed normally at breakfast, everyone found something to eat. there were 2 seafood barbecue dinners, in principle, the usual buffet, a normal choice, everyone was full, but it’s very expensive to buy alcohol there, so they were with me for the second dinner and took it with them - they allow it. But at the health dinner, our friends got poisoned and we decided not to go there.
Near the hotel there is an area where about 20 cafes with different cuisines work in the evening - and most importantly for those who have children there is a huge inflatable set where you rent a child for 30 yuan and it has fun there as much as it wants - and it seems that you can relax with you (Chinese animation )))
A couple of times we had dinner at the Marina and the Breeze cafe on the embankment - for those who miss Russian cuisine.
Cons - there is a karaoke square next to the hotel - where, with regular regularity, the Chinese sang karaoke from 18 to 24. At first, this did not upset us - on the third day, my husband was going to go shoot them - terribly loudly with terrible voices - although I can’t say that we spent the evenings in the room - but even while we were either going somewhere or already coming (at 10 or 11 pm), we managed to go crazy from this amateur performance. And right under the balconies overlooking the sea, a barbecue dinner is held every evening (see above) and there they play Vitas' concert from 18 to 23 (it's worth saying we managed to learn his entire repertoire) In general, we managed to enjoy the sound of the surf on the balcony only after 24-01 nights.
The weather was not very good during the day, about 30, the water was 22, but in the evenings it was cool - she put on windbreakers for the child. But in recent days it has deteriorated and the day has become cloudy and windy - sorry for those tourists who just flew in
We compare prices with Beijing and Thailand - a little expensive - a meal for three (3-4 dishes plus 2-3 beers) is about 300-400 yuan - although Dadonghai Bay is considered cheaper than other ones - and Russian tourists go to have dinner in Dadonghai
But in general, the impression of the rest is positive, mainly due to the clean sea of exotic food (seafood and fruits). In general, the hotel is so-so - we went to Resort intime - Pearl reaver park would be better there........
We lived on the 3rd floor, the year was 2008. And the child had one expanse, while we sleep in the morning, he through the balcony into the pool in an instant. Breakfast is excellent, after breakfast I wanted to eat only at 15-16 o'clock. Everything is very fresh and varied. No complaints about nutrition. You can’t feed a child at home! And he doesn’t eat anything casserole and pancakes, in China he fell in love with shrimp in batter and various dishes.
I didn’t like one thing, I think not only us, after dinner there are a lot of Chinese on the beach. They may spit or take pictures of you. It is not clear why. Many aunts of merchants walk along the beach, like our gypsies, they sell pearls. This is everyone's business, whether you want to get in touch with them or not. I immediately made it clear to them that I DO NOT NEED these pearls. I know that if I buy it will only roll around. You can buy for a gift, you need to bargain with them at a minimum. The sunbeds were free, only without any mattresses.
And so the beach is clean, the sand is white (but of course not like in the Mald. o-x) It gets dark very quickly. We dined not at the hotel, there is a large square behind the hotel. There's a huge selection!
We changed dollars on the 1st floor, but there are certain exchange hours. We adjusted so that there were no problems later.
About the guide, the guide was just great! His name is Vlad. very decent and honest man. Called us constantly, found out how we are. He brought us tickets for all the entertainment at his own price. Other guides were overpriced. We visited the zoo for 20 yuan, other tourists went for 100 yuan. Yes, and cards for the phone, too, he bought us. Although, to be honest, this guide was not ours. We never buy a tour package, we only buy a flight, and upon arrival we always settle without problems. Saving 300-400 dollars. And it is understandable that we should not have a guide. And we met Vlad at the airport and asked him to dial RIVER GARDEN from his cell phone and ask for availability. He made the call with no problem. There were places, he first took his arriving guest, and then he took us to the hotel. And then all 2 weeks he told us everything, explained where it makes sense to go, and where it’s not worth going. He brought tickets for excursions to the room, etc. We lost his phone! There are very few such guides and even decent people. When we flew away, he did not take any money from us. He asked next time to bring him only the MALBORO unit. No one spoiled the rest, as it could be in Turkey! The holiday went great. Maybe something important and did not write. We are very sorry that we lost the bodies of the guide. And at the entrance to the right there are many guides, but these are not guides, but grabbers!
