1. Flight and transfer
Departure from Boryspil at 06:00 on Skyup wings. Travel time 13 hours (one hour refueling in Almaty), twice hot meals and drinks. We arrived in Sanya an hour earlier than planned, about an hour on the bus (our hotel was the first to land) and already at 03:00 we checked into the room. The return trip was much harder. We were picked up from the hotel at 22:00 (departure at 03:30), two hours of riding around Sanya in search of three hotels, of which 7 people were taken in total. Long check-in, waiting for the flight and transferring it two hours later. As a result, departure at 05:30.15 hours of flight, and finally at 14:30 landing in Boryspil.
Also, check with the tour operators the airport of arrival / departure - there are tours with an arrival in Haikou, and this is an additional 4 hours of transfer.
Life hack for those flying away - take tea and coffee bags from the hotel, there is a machine with hot water and cups in the departure hall of the airport - you can brew hot (the cost of regular Lipton tea bags in the airport cafe is 28 yuan, instant coffee is 30 yuan !!! )
2. Hotel and room
On most sites, the location of the hotel on the map is not marked correctly, the hotel is located on the first beach line! The hotel is huge, beautiful and pompous (13 floors). Although there are small joints and there are complaints about cleanliness - but this is more due to the peculiarities of Chinese tourists (not very clean). The hotel has a huge territory, part of which is occupied by one-story houses (villas). A lot of greenery, fountains and places for photo shoots. The hotel has three swimming pools: one near the hotel, the second near the sea and the third for children. In general, the hotel is made in a very beautiful style - marine.
We had a room overlooking the pool and the sea (7th floor). The room is spacious, clean, all in bright colors. Everything you need is in the room, from slippers to an umbrella. Cleaning and replenishment of water and bathroom supplies every day.
3. Beach and sea
The hotel is 500 meters from the sea. The hotel does not have a beach, there is only a beautiful promenade for walking and photo shoots against the backdrop of the sea and waves that break on the concrete figures of walruses. To the nearest beach where you can swim another 500 meters to the right, through a similar embankment of a neighboring hotel and sand. But even there you are NOT waiting for sun loungers and umbrellas! The place where you can swim is part of another hotel without any infrastructure, except for three palm trees and a garbage can) Therefore, if you dream of lying on a sun lounger and sipping a cocktail, this is not here! But what is most beautiful here is the sea - it is clean as a tear. Even though it was constantly agitated during our stay, it was still clean.
4. Nutrition
We had breakfasts. There are no complaints about the quality and quantity, food for every taste and color). You can also order additional meals at the hotel for lunch and dinner. We once visited shrimp in a hotel restaurant - nothing special, but very spicy)
As for food outside the hotel, there are also a lot of options - from the simplest "chefanik" to McDonald's. Everything is within walking distance.
5. Infrastructure
The hotel is located in a new developing area, next to a huge residential complex with a beautiful park for walking. Within walking distance of a newly opened shopping center with shops and cafes.
Conclusion: China needs to be seen once than heard a hundred times. Which hotel to go to is a personal matter)
