They take you to the market every day for free. Many bought seafood there and cooked in the room. Everything is very cheap. For example, a medium crab is 120 yuan. Fruit is also about 50-80 UAH per kg of ours. And it’s not always clear whether it’s per kg or per pound, or per pound, or per piece))) Before the trip, I especially found out what the lack of infrastructure behind the hotel is. Now I can tell those who are interested. Behind the hotel there is a road with palm trees and flowers, there is no promenade with shops. But at a distance of 40 minutes.
walking left and right there is a busy city area with shops and food street. Going there to eat if you only have breakfast is not very convenient, it is better to pay for dinner at the hotel. But it is quite possible to take a walk after the buffet (or before). You can change money only with hotel guides. We also took a note in the bank from the card. No commission.
The main disadvantage of the hotel is that there are sooo few sunbeds on the beach and they are without mattresses. That is, you won’t lie down especially, even if you have time to borrow. Why so little is unclear even to hotel guides. Maybe because the Chinese do not swim and do not sunbathe, and 80% of them rest there. By the way, if you walk along the beach along other hotels, you understand that ours has a lot of sunbeds))). In short, we were lying by the pool, and we went to the sea to swim. The sand is gorgeous, sings, as promised. Well, about the Internet. My husband had their wechat, the hotel has good wi-fi. I have Vodafone, all instant messengers and even Facebook worked.
Only Google did not work and, accordingly, Google translator slowed down. True, Vodafone, when connecting the "roaming like at home" service, promised absolutely everything, like at home. As a result, it turned out that 4 calls and 5 SMS to my homeland + sometimes FB outside Wi-Fi cost me 1500.00 UAH! But that is another story.
The hotel is very boring.
There is no doctor on site. And the medical center, which is located on the territory, will not help in emergency cases.
Sanya is 70 km from the hotel. There, the exchange rate is more favorable. Exchange only with guides, and they are only interested in their own benefit.
The room we bought was not given to us. The tour operator could not figure out why. Later it turned out that we were not the only ones.
For the money they charge, I don't recommend it. I will not visit this hotel again.
The cleanliness of the rooms is excellent, cleaned very well. Even the kitchen is treated with something that all smells immediately disappear.
But the most valuable thing for the hotel and for this place is the lack of civilization. Huge, half-empty beaches and the ocean (although it is called the "yellow sea" here) create the feeling that you are on a desert island. We were here for 15 days and did not miss civilization a single gram. Once we got to Sanya for magnets and souvenirs. Returning to the hotel, we realized that we definitely did not fail with this place.
The only negative is the tasteless lunches. Therefore, they began to cook seafood in the room. Once every 2 days we went to the market by taxi (it is very difficult to get on the morning bus, there are too many people).
Advice:
1. Take a couple of packs of disposable forks with you.
2. Take alcohol with you to Duty Free. Here alcohol is terrible and very expensive.
3. Do not take mosquito repellent with you. Our funds do not work on them, there are locals in the rooms.
4. Washing machine powder is also filled into a jar every day.
5. And do not bring food with you, please do not disgrace yourself at the airport. I watched how our tourists turned out a few kilograms of fat from a suitcase. So embarrassing for these people. You will definitely not leave hungry here. And if you lose a couple of kilograms from communicating with nature, then everyone will benefit.
6. Don't bring too many things with you. There is absolutely no place to wear them. There are no discos or casinos here. And the hotel has everything you need.
7. Visit all excursions, especially "Rainforest" YANODA ".
Your hotel guides will help you in all matters: Roma and Yasha. They are with you day and night.
Departed on 08/05/19 at 3:15, it took 6.5 hours to fly to Almaty. In Almaty, refueling takes place (1.5 hours), then it takes another 6.5 hours to Haikou Airport. Upon arrival in Haikou, we get on the bus and drive to the hotel for 3.5-4 hours! one in the morning (respectively, 1 day the food fell out and no one fed us) !!!
Meals: breakfast and dinner, but the Chinese are hospitable and give (complimentary) lunches to you.
ATTENTION!! ! But only when paying for breakfast and dinner, I also ask you to pay your attention that lunches are STANDARD: three types A; B; C.
I'll try to explain what they include:
A: soup with noodles and beef (but beef with skin) and the addition of soy sauce; salad (small bowl) soaked peanuts with chopped cucumbers; dumplings (6 pcs. soy meat); a fruit plate with 3 pieces of melon and watermelon; soy sauce; a glass of lemonade (this is ordinary water diluted slightly with lemon).
B: fruit plate; a glass of lemonade; dumplings; soy sauce; soup (like porridge: fried egg in tomato juice); salad spicy pieces of white cabbage.
C: fruit plate; a glass of lemonade; dumplings; soy sauce; soup (very thick rice porridge); marinated mushroom salad.
For lunch, only soup and salad change (yield 50 grams). Spoons, forks, and sticks (they don’t have training ones). Familiar Muscovites paid for everything inclusive, and they were offended that they had to eat the same thing for lunch. You can choose sushi and something else, but for a separate fee.
Breakfast: juice (mango, pineapple, apple, orange), they don't have much coffee, I took it with me. Fruits are always only melon and watermelon, soups, scrambled eggs, salads
Dinner: Dinner is great!
Fish in batter, Peking duck, fried chicken, mussels and rapans on shells, beer, sake. Soups. I urge you when you see deep-fried beef balls, marinated mushrooms, lotus root, DO NOT EAT THEM RAW! The spectacle is not for the faint of heart! 7-10, roast.
Warning: sharp.
Also, there are flat cakes near the soup, very similar to khinkali, they need to be boiled, do not eat raw dough!
Baking for breakfast and dinner is identical, don't expect a miracle, it's nothing. I have a sweet tooth, so I bought myself ice cream (3-5 yuan), rolls (5-8 yuan), cookies (5-15 yuan). All this is on the territory hotel in shops. But it’s better to go where there is a cash register, a barcode is scanned with you and you can see the price and amount, since my husband was somehow sold 2 ice creams for 12 yuan in another store.
Our neighbors took a tour with breakfasts with the expectation that they were taken to the market. Yes, fish (Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday), you need to book in advance a day in advance, as the hotel provides a free transfer. And imagine we arrived on Tuesday, you have time to sign up for Wednesday and only Saturday remains (if the tour for seven days is generally nonsense). There is also a fruit market, but there is no fish on it! You can take a taxi for 30 yuan. They see ours and start breaking prices! !
There is a lot of counterfeit money in the market, 10 yuan and 50 yuan. Our friends were shoved 50 counterfeit yuan. We didn’t go to the market, because we overate at the hotel)
Medical Center (Aloha), which houses the Russian-speaking Dr. Ping Victor. My husband has lower back problems, a hernia, acupuncture, acupuncture and massage helped him! But the doctor offers everything for $ 1200, BARGAIN!
Sightseeing tour of Sanya - it is free and included in the price of the tour, go but do not rush to buy things at the silk factory and at tea drinking, at the very end of the sightseeing tour there will be a SOUVENIRS shop and so buy everything twice as cheap. Why I advise you to go, because in the center where you will be injected with squalene (shark oil) capsules, there will be a free doctor's diagnostician with an apparatus for blood vessels and he does this clearly and describes the state of the blood vessels and your body as a whole !!!
The beach is clean, we didn’t have any insects, but vacationers from the Wyndham hotel came, the girl said that she had been bitten by some kind of disgusting thing on the beach! I repeat, nothing was bitten in Aloha!
As for the room, it's not 5 or even 4... the hotel is 2015, but very "fidgety", they are not clean, so you can see stains on the windows and the floor is not washed. If you need 5, then you better go to the Hilton hotel Haikou. We were driving from behind the beach (a bay of clear water).
Dear compatriots!! ! This is China, holidays here are designed for the Chinese, everything is more expensive for them, we are guests, this is not Egypt and Turkey for you, where you are carried and presented for $ 1! The food is oriental, no one will cook for you and bake ! Want to meet and learn something new, then you are here.
Or Aloha for a sucker.
We rested in China, on the island of Hainan, from July 12 to July 22.2019, at the Aloha oceanfront suite resort.
I'm talking about my impressions.
The hotel is large, several buildings, but quite dirty. It is possible to live more or less normally, only in the central building. We were first settled in the next one (6), this is some kind of trash. Dirty, stinks, renovation in the room 100 years ago.
In order to move to the central building, we agreed on the reception desk, at a moment's notice with the staff, since they do not know any language other than Chinese. And our guide from Join Up, the Chinese Yura, did not want to decide anything. We paid extra $300 for being overpowered. Yura decides nothing if it is not in his interests. He even refused to call a taxi when he found out that we were going on an excursion, but without his participation. And if he calls, the tariff multiplies by 2. He pays through a mobile application on the Internet, and you give him twice as much cash.
The internet is terrible.
The maximum that could be read is the news. The video will not load under any circumstances.
The food is terrible. A 3 star hotel in Egypt would be much better (noodles, eggs, rice, sometimes chicken). There are three options for lunch. Type of set meal. There is soup, dumplings, water with lemon.
All plastic utensils (plates, glasses and chopsticks). There are indeed metal forks.
When settling with tourists collected $ 100 deposit per room. If you soiled a towel - a fine, if you lost a paper card on a towel - a fine, if you left food on a plate in the dining room - a fine. The warning text about this can be read at the entrance to the dining room. Look at the photo.
There are not many people in the hotel. Most of the Chinese also have Ukrainians and Russians (50% Taghiil). The Chinese are a bit wild people. In the dining room, it's normal to burp in the nose. Yes, you will not get pleasure from eating.
Our Ukrainians seemed to me like lords from Buckingham Palace compared to the Chinese.
In general, the Chinese have a negative attitude towards tourists, that the staff, the seller in the store, the taxi driver. Although this does not apply to sellers in the market and tuk-tuk drivers.
The beach is beautiful, sandy, deserted. There are always waves on the sea. You won't be able to swim, but the water is warm and pleasant. BUT BE CAREFUL ON THE BEACH WITHOUT A PERSON OF SAND ROCK. Upon arrival home, I was treated for bites for another week (injections, ointments, tablets). If Chinese women or Chinese appear on the beach, then there will be no peace. I understand that squealing is a common thing for them. And they will scream all the time. At first, I perceived this screeching, like - save someone who is dying. In fact, the child forgot to wear a cap.
There is a lifeguard tower on the beach, but you need to sit far away from it, because the lifeguard, when he is there, spit loudly into the hot sand all the time.
The hotel has 2 active pools, but in the evening you will not swim alone, but with representatives of the fauna - floors. True, they do not swim, but they regularly come to drink water.
Change money for yuan at home, since there is nowhere to change money in China, except for Yura. And he has a rate of 20-30% lower.
Do not go on a sightseeing tour, as always, they just sell their goods in three ways.
Taxis are not expensive. Once we were driven by a taxi driver, constantly chewing some leaves. He had not a single tooth left from chewing and was not quite adequate. Be careful. By the way, there are many such chewing Chinese in the hotel among the staff.
Went for a free diagnosis to a Chinese medicine doctor. For 1500 dollars (1000 yuan) he promised to cure all diseases with herbs.
I would not recommend going to China for a holiday. Don't be fools like us. Much better to go to Sri Lanka for the same money. Everything is on top there, and the people are friendly, good food, cool hotels and deserted beaches.
