It is located in the Swiss canton of Schaffhausen, next to the town of Neuhausen am Rheinfall. The height of the waterfall is about 23 meters, width - 150 meters. The waterfall began to form about 500 thousand years ago, during the ice age. It acquired its current form 14-17 thousand years ago. You can admire this wonderful and powerful waterfall from specially equipped terraces. You can feel all the strength and power of the descending streams of water from the observation deck, located on top of a cliff in the center of the waterfall or from a boat. The waterfall is especially impressive in summer, when the volume of falling water is about 600 liters per second, as well as in late spring, during the melting snow.
On sunny days, regardless of the time of year, you can see an impressive rainbow over the waterfall.
