The very case when there is nowhere to attach a photo, but it's a pity to throw it away : ). In general, nothing useful in this text, some emotions.
There is no way we can make a full-fledged tour to Belarus in general, and Minsk in particular. Either it’s cold, it’s hot, it’s not now, then the children will grow up... Both my husband and I once managed to visit Minsk separately and begin to love it together. A thousand years ago, my husband was on a business trip for a week, and since then he has dreamed of returning to the city that struck him with its breadth and spaciousness, restrained beauty and cleanliness. I got a glimpse of the city a few years ago when I came with my daughter to participate in the festival of children's creativity, about which there is a note "Minsk. Small outings, but big impressions”.
This time too, Minsk served only as a transshipment base for us on the way back from Klaipeda to Moscow during our New Year trip to Lithuania.

We stopped at hotel "Orbita" 3*, which once became the first of its kind in the husband's hotel experience (well, we will not take into account children's sanatoriums and student camp sites). Nothing, the old woman did not disappoint. And then, as it happens, you meet an old sweetheart, you look - oh, it would be better if you hadn’t met, even if blurry bright images remained in your memory : )). Initially, it was planned only to spend the night in the city. But we couldn’t just say hello to our old love. Despite the fatigue, we still drove almost 500 km from Klaipeda by car, went to wander along the streets, albeit not often walked by us, but still native. This love is somehow childish, naive, not formed.
The easier it is, such feelings forgive a lot, do not require reciprocity.
So our date, as befits a person in love, happened in the evening.

I remember how wild it was to see a decorated Christmas tree in an Egyptian hotel, how a New Year's beauty in Italy slightly did not fit into the picture familiar to our consciousness. And this winter finally balanced all these unusual things for us. Let it be without snow, but the green devils are good!

Yes, the winter of 2020 turned out to be completely non-winter. It seems to be bad, but on the other hand, it is very comfortable for those who fall in love. Yep, warm and dry. The grass is green, the Christmas tree is shining. . . : )

They say that the locals were very against the construction, there were different pickets, petitions. I can not judge the correctness or incorrectness of the urban policy, but it looks good. Maybe not an architectural masterpiece, but it looks quite decent, and even decorates the embankment.
For two evenings we wandered along the Minsk avenues.

And then, as if from nowhere, the noise of engines, headlights, speed. And again silence... and again a flock of cars... Yes, deceptive calm.
On the first evening, walking around Minsk, we came to the conclusion that somehow we were not doing well, we planned the time incorrectly, that it was impossible not to visit anything of interest at all.

It turns out to be some kind of disgrace, a flaw. We need to change something. And we decided to go to Stalin Line. I had to stay one more night in Minsk, which made it possible to wander around the city a little more. And again in the evening.
True, there were minor difficulties here: there were no places in our hotel, we had to look for another option. This case became very problematic during the "hot" New Year holidays in terms of tourism. But we found a nice one hotel "Arena Minsk" 3* at a similar cost for modern comfort, however, on the outskirts of the city. In our case, the location was no longer fundamental.
