The country complex "Shishki" is located on the shore of a picturesque forest lake, 60 kilometers from Minsk. "Shishki" are modern two-story houses, a VIP cottage, a restaurant, a tent, a wood-fired sauna, a huge landscaped area with the possibility of organizing hunting, fishing and other outdoor activities. The entire residential complex was built from environmentally friendly materials. The houses are built from pine timber.More →

The wedding was scheduled for Thursday, so we took the risk of not booking the entire territory of the complex, and we were lucky: there was almost no one except us. We rented a tent, one VIP house for newlyweds and a restaurant menu for 32 guests. I'll try to be as honest as possible.
In general, both we and our guests were satisfied. I was impressed by the European approach in everything: starting with the internal structure of the complex and ending with resolving issues with guests. The administrators politely and patiently answered questions, I was pleased with their goodwill and ability to make concessions in some moments, but at the same time not to change the main principles.
We were offered several places for the ceremony to choose from: on the pier, overlooking the pond and overlooking the forest. We stopped at the last one and never regretted it, it turned out really great and unusual for Belarus. The territory is clean, well-groomed.
However, I would like the same grooming in the tent. In general, the tent, of course, was very impressive with its design, as if it was created for weddings. Spacious, light, with pine trees on one side and a pond on the other. But in our photographs, we noticed that the windows protecting from the wind were very dusty, it was especially noticeable in the sun, so it would be better to check this moment and ask to clean them before the event. The same goes for the ceiling. In general - this is for the administration of the complex - it would be better to do this before anyone notices. The second unpleasant moment associated with the tent concerns heating. At the end of August, it was getting colder in the evenings, and we were promised to turn on the burners around the tent, assuring us that there would be no inconvenience with the temperature. As expected, in the evening the temperature dropped to uncomfortable, but the burners were not turned on, explaining that something had broken... As a result, the guests had to wrap themselves in blankets, since they were provided to us in advance. Dancing saved the situation, but not for everyone - the older generation was in no hurry to rush into the dance. Therefore, the administration is requested to check the heating in advance, and guests are advised to pay attention to this before the event. But in general, the tent is wonderful, especially if you take into account that there are no such tents in Belarus. And if you bring garlands with light bulbs and hang them inside, the atmosphere is simply incredible! If you don't like a tent, Shishki also has an indoor restaurant.
The room in the VIP house, like the house itself, I really liked. Around the forest and, in our opinion, away from the city, the amenities are just great. The views are incredibly beautiful, the place is really sincere, as it is positioned in the slogan of the complex, I didn’t want to leave at all... Among the shortcomings of the internal arrangement, perhaps, there was one: the entrance to the complex. In August, dust, pits and potholes rose from the wheels - all this turned these 10 minutes of travel into a nightmare for guests. It doesn't matter, but an unpleasant aftertaste remained. We hope that the road will be paved soon.
The food here is homemade delicious, and at the same time beautifully European. The waiters served the dishes in a timely manner, they were always there to ensure the agreed European serving. I was pleased with the opportunity to feed 6 contractors for free. None of the guests left hungry, but you need to be prepared for the fact that what remains on the tables after the event will not be taken away (thoughts for the administration: for guests from Europe this is natural, but for Russians this is a minus and will never become a plus, because the mentality, which means negative reviews from “ours” on this topic will always be). If you are ready to follow Europe in this matter and close your eyes to some minor flaws, then, in our opinion, this is an excellent place for holding such events.
Minuses:
Dirty glass and ceiling in the tent
Faulty burners
Unpleasant entrance to the complex
You can’t take the leftover food with you (although this is the norm in Europe)
Pros:
European approach
Incredibly beautiful views inside the complex
Adequate courteous staff
Several options for venues for the ceremony
Well-groomed territory
Unique tent design
Pleasant number
Delicious and beautifully presented food
(free for 6 contractors)

Good day everyone. It should be noted right away that the impression of the complex was largely formed by the conditions of my trip, so I also need to talk about them. So, the purpose of the trip was tourist, post-New Year, duration - 3-4 days, including a day of passive outdoor recreation (why the "Shishki" complex was chosen, a visit to the capital of the Republic of Belarus, the hero city of Minsk (second day), medieval restored castles in Mir and Nesvizh (third day) Arrival, local crossings and return journey - by private car. … More ▾ Good day everyone.
The room was booked in advance (approximately 35-40 days in advance), on the website shishki. info, after which the employees of Shishki called me back by phone and once again clarified (confirmed) the terms and cost of the stay. The prepayment was transferred through Sberbank, and then there was a small hitch - the number of digits in the accounts in the Republic of Belarus and in the Russian Federation is different, not all banks are ready to transfer money to an account in Belarus.
The road to the Zagorshchina of the Uzdensky district was not a problem for the navigator with Navitel, and at the crossroads in the village (he is alone there) there is a sign Shishki =.
Even roads of regional importance in Belarus of good quality, the speed of 90-100 was confidently kept, but I didn’t want to accelerate faster and look like boors in the face of the fraternal people observing the speed limit (although the coverage allowed). The last 300-400 meters the road is unpaved (sandstone), but smooth, there were no problems on an ordinary passenger car (Ford Focus).
We drive up to the gate - and then immediately the first roughness - there is not a guard near the gate (he, as life has shown, is not needed), not a call. You need a call, but there is none - just a sign with a phone number. I had to replenish the balance of Mobile TeleSystems with a call in international roaming. The territory of the complex is fenced with a mesh fence on all sides, except for the lake coast. Parking inside near the entrance, free, small, but enough for all vacationers.
The territory itself is well-groomed, the grass is trimmed, the paths are paved with fine gravel. All paths are illuminated, while near the houses there are lamps with motion sensors - and the lighting turns on only when approaching them. It is right.
The shore of the lake is sandy, there is a “pier” where dugout boats moor in summer, and there is also quite a lot of space for tables and a meal above the water. In our time (let me remind you, it was January 3-6), there were no enthusiasts of such a thing.
The houses are wooden, you can even say that they are completely wooden. Even in the toilet and shower, the walls are lined with clapboard / plywood, tiles are only on the floor, and this tiled floor is heated. In winter it is noticeable. Standard rooms: one wall is a large window. At first there were fears that it would be cold (winter after all), but they did not come true. Rooms are warm in moderate winters. The rooms themselves are quite cramped. If you order an extra bed for a child, it is really difficult to get between the beds. There is a TV, a satellite receiver is included. There is also a small refrigerator in the room. In general, eating in the rooms is not welcome, and there are no cups, spoons, forks, in principle, and the contract states that for this business - to the restaurant. But the refrigerator is still there. But what is not there is a closet. Even a locker or, at worst, bedside tables. Only a wall hanger at the entrance. For outerwear of three people, it is enough, but no more. And the travel bag was forced to stand on the floor in the corner. It's sad, but these are the costs of a small room - to put a wardrobe - there will be absolutely nowhere to turn around.
The mattress on the bed is an amateur. I love hard mattresses, I was comfortable. But there are few people like me, so the mention of the excessive rigidity of the beds in the previous review is true. Many will be uncomfortable.
Water in the room around the clock, but has a scent. Maybe I’m not used to this, and it’s impossible to say that it “stinks of sewerage”, but there is a scent. Not very nice. You won't drink it.
On the porch at the entrance there is a table and two wicker chairs. In summer it must be a great pleasure to sit there and drink alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks in the evening. In winter, you can also have a seagull, but not for long, because it's chilly.
The restaurant is small, just for the number of tourists. Breakfast is free with a choice of omelette eggs, fried eggs or porridge. Not God knows what, but acceptable. The breakfast also includes toast in the sense of fried baguette pieces, and honey plus 2 types of jam. Plum is excellent.
Lunch and dinner must be ordered in advance - an hour and a half. But everything that is cooked is cooked well. Especially good is the "fire knuckle". Damn it - just gorgeous.
Restaurant prices are higher than in Belarus on average, but lower than in Russia. Here I mean my regional center of the middle lane, and not the capital. Compared to Moscow, prices are an order of magnitude lower.
By the way, there was still a warm-up before dinner. Tables and outdoor gas heaters were set up at 19:00 on the site in front of the house, where the restaurant and the administrative part are located. Horseradish (bomb! ), cranberry liqueur (too sweet) and mulled wine were served on the tables in sufficient quantities. Plus cuts: lard, fish, cucumbers... Once a smokehouse was rolled up and mackerel was cooked there. It turns out very tasty. And this deal is free for all guests of the complex. Then, in the same place on the street, there was a small entertainment part, in which there were Belarusian songs, and competitions, etc. , etc. Okay. Dinner does not replace this business, but it raises the mood and appetite great.
There was only one joint in the restaurant - we went with a company of 2 young families, and on the last day of our stay we had a joint breakfast. So they brought us the same amount of toast and jam for tea as before - for each family separately... When we asked the waiter to bring it to the second family, too, we received an answer that a double portion had already been brought. A trifle? Yes, sure. We saved a penny, but the impression was spoiled.
At the same time, if during a free breakfast you want more tea (it is of very good quality), which we had twice in 3 days, then the girls brought a second teapot, and they did not require payment for it.
The staff generally left a very good impression, as did the entire population of Belarus as a whole. Always friendly, always smiling and ready to help if you have any questions.
The phone on the territory receives the signal confidently, no dropouts of words and no ringing were noticed. WiFi is not available in the room. In the restaurant or reception area - please.
There is such a service as a bath in the complex. It is located in a detached house, quite large. It also has a semblance of a bar - a small banquet hall, where you can also order dinner. And the wig is good. The only pity is that there was no snow in early January...
By the way, about the snow. They found out in advance whether skis, sleds, etc. were rented at Shishki. Well, we had a post-New Year trip planned. They said there is. But due to the lack of snow and frost in New Year's Belarus, the rental of skis and sleds has turned into a rental of bicycles : ) .
Payments were made by bank card, there is a terminal at the checkout. In general, during the entire stay in Belarus, they did not change cash, they did not even manage to hold the local "bunnies" in their hands : ).
In conclusion, I can say that "Cones" left a good impression. A quiet backwater to relax from the bustle of the city, quite remote from large settlements and highways. Hence all the advantages and disadvantages: young active and restless people will get bored here for 2-3 days, they need their own transport, and with it there is where to go and what to see. If the purpose of the trip is just to be in silence and solitude, then you won’t find a better place.
Thanks "Shishki". we liked you.
