Great stay and super wine!
I went with my daughters to rest in Bulgaria. We stayed at the Admiral Hotel. The service was good, there were no complaints. We went to sunbathe at the sea, took a couple of excursions. Let me tell you about my experience for those who are interested in wines. that we absolutely accidentally stumbled upon a shop in Golden Sands, where the seller not only explained everything to us, but also gave us a wine tasting. My daughter lives in France, so she was pleasantly surprised by the quality of Bulgarian wines. On the advice of the seller, we tried "Todorof cuvé e 4 friends" (a very worthy wine), Quantum Traminer and Riesling (I liked the traminer more! It’s the best for the summer! ), St. Dimitar Mavrud (the uniqueness of the wine is that this grape variety is grown only in Bulgaria. We were advised to drink this dry red wine in combination with bryn zoy, which I did upon returning home to cool Latvia and was not disappointed. ) We returned to this store several times! They offer discounts for certain wines and, especially pleasantly, they sell chilled wine (at + 30'C in the evening, this is very appropriate. ) If you find yourself in Golden Sands, be sure to find this wine shop. Interestingly, the shop does not have a name. If you are standing with your back to the Admiral Hotel, then at the first intersection to the right and up the street to the Malina Hotel. On the left you will see blue steps down to the store. Basically you won't pass by, as all the wine is displayed on the street. Ask Viktor (he is the owner of the store), he speaks perfect Russian.
