The hotel is wonderful. Comfortable, clean, friendly staff. Everyone speaks Russian. Daily housekeeping. Change of linen every two days. Free umbrellas for the beach. The beach is 5 minutes walk. From any intention there is a beautiful view of the sea and the city. Breakfast is very tasty and varied with vegetables and fruits.

Clean sandy beaches, gentle entrance to the sea. The sea is very warm and clean. IT HAS FISH. This is their Black Sea!! ! Perfect conditions for a relaxing family holiday.

I love Sozopol very much. A quiet town (compared to Golden Sands or Sunny Beach), where you relax and just rest from the usual hustle and bustle. I have been going there since 2003 and now my visa is open again, it remains to scatter work, find a window (plus a few days for a long weekend), call the owner of the hotel, drive, 1200 km (I live in Kyiv) - and here it is, happiness! I must say right away that fans of Turkish-Egyptian hotels - monsters with water parks, swimming pools, animations, feeding from basins in the canteen on schedule and round-the-clock all-inclusive bars will be very disappointed.

I must say right away that fans of Turkish-Egyptian hotels - monsters with water parks, swimming pools, animations, feeding from basins in the canteen on schedule and round-the-clock all-inclusive bars will be very disappointed. I know what I'm talking about, because we spend autumn and spring holidays in Egypt (only Iberotel - by trial and error), in summer Turkey (usually Amara Club Marine (formerly Aquamarine), but I think this summer, if possible, I will spend holiday in Sozopol.
Everything is wrong here. Small chamber town. In every house, practically, there is a mini-hotel, and in every third house there is a small restaurant for 7-10 tables. Two municipal beaches with clean sand - if you want, lie down for free, if you want, pay for an umbrella, you can buy a deck chair for it, or you can generally lie down in the VIP area, where there is an umbrella-chaise lounge-mattress-table. And no need to run at 7 am before breakfast to take a place under the sun!
Hungry? Many establishments for different tastes and wallets hospitably opened their doors. As far as I remember, in the most expensive establishments, dinner for two with wine and desserts did not go beyond 25-30 euros. And do not frantically look at the clock - are we going to swim, or in 20 minutes for lunch? Salad from the basin to eat....
Gold fish. Small hotel, 19 rooms, downstairs - a fish restaurant. From the rooms you can see the sea. You sit in the evening with a book on the balcony and listen to the sound of the surf. Large room, good furniture, sofa (three rubles), air conditioning, satellite TV, refrigerator, shower/toilet. There is a penthouse with a jacuzzi and a round bed. For newlyweds. However, the hotel is almost the same as the neighboring hotels. It is located exactly in the middle between two beaches. To the beach - 5 minutes at a leisurely pace. True, in Sozopol everything is very close. They clean up perfectly, there are no safes, but in a nightmare you can’t imagine that something will be lost. All the money just lies on the bedside table (left), in the bedside table (euro). Tried to tip the maid. Doesn't take! She even caught her, tried to explain that it was her. I still didn’t take it, it’s forbidden!
Restaurant "Goldfish". Excellent selection of seafood. Delicious. You can sell your soul for mackerel on a skara (grill) or in ceramide (in a tile). I won't describe the entire menu, you won't leave hungry. However, there are a lot of such restaurants in Sozopol.
The main difference between Sozopol and developed tourist centers is freedom. You just live the way you like. There are no schedules, territories, bracelets. You don't feel like you're on a tourist reservation. You just live, dissolving into the unhurried life of a small Bulgarian town.
Have a nice rest!

It's time to think about a vacation and I'm going to Sozopol again. Time has passed since my last trip and I think my review will be objective. times: in July and in September. The first time was with a friend and children (7 years old).
We flew to Burgas without delay. We were met by the owner of the hotel with a sign. We drove to Sozopol by car, about 40 minutes.
The room was spacious, the same as in the photo, a huge balcony with a table, chairs, dryer. Everything worked - TV, air conditioning, mini-bar. True, it was indicated that it was 150 meters from the beach, this is not entirely true, although both beaches are not far 5 minutes walk to the shop.
I liked the service. Cleaned every day, towels changed after 3 days.
There is an excellent restaurant at the hotel. People, the portions there are really huge and everything is delicious. Our price included breakfast, nothing special, basically like at home - omelettes, sausages, sliced cheeses and sausages, vegetables, etc. , cereal for children , hot milk. For lunch and dinner, we ordered one serving for two, because it’s impossible to eat so much alone. We ate seafood a year ahead. i. e. 1.5 euros, and the mussels are fresh. We bought peaches and grapes at a market not far from the central beach, this is a market that mostly locals go to, it’s a little cheaper than on stalls.
We sunbathed on the central beach. The beach is clean, every evening, sweepers pass, the sand is sifted. The sea is probably too small for adults, but it suited us completely with the children, and the lifeguards there, not only we are not allowed to go into a storm, not only children , but adults are also watched. Sun loungers are paid-5 leva for the whole day, there is also a banana, a jet ski, etc.
I advise you to go on an excursion to Bata, this is a village in the national style with dinner and a concert program, we liked it.
I read reviews about Bulgaria, where they wrote that Bulgarians do not understand Russian, I personally did not notice this. Maybe they are very young people and do not speak very well, but all the menus that I saw were in three languages - Bulgarian. , Russian . , eng. And I don't remember that we had problems about this. On the contrary, no matter what we turned to, we always heard "not a problem. "
In September, I went alone. Before leaving in July, I took the phones of several hotels, phoned, booked a room, bought a plane ticket through a travel agency, insurance, I didn’t need to apply for a second visa, mine was still valid. In September I liked more or less people, the sun not so baked, I lay on the beach all day, and there were practically no compatriots in September, mostly Germans, Poles, Englishmen. My Bulgarian friends took me to Nessebar, the city is also beautiful, newer, more European, but less national color. In general, I liked Sozopol, this year I will go again.
