The first impression of the "Starfish" is nothing: we are used to relaxing in large hotels with a large territory, and here is a small villa, a cafe below, with several tables, two tables on the street, right next to the carriageway. The previous reviews were undoubtedly written either by the owners of the hotel or at their request, because those flowers on the steps, well, do not cause any delight.
They didn’t meet with special cordiality, somehow they settled in, the room is small, but everything is clean and everything you need is there. And the bathroom..... it was necessary to measure it 1 sq. m. or 1.5 no more. In general, sitting on the toilet you can take a shower and brush your teeth.
Safe is paid.
As I already said, we had HB, and in the evening a surprise awaited us: dinner in portions, herring with chopped large cucumber for EVERYONE (and this is in the month of July) and fried fish. 10 pieces of sweet cherry on a saucer. Everything. Yes, if you want one thing; or water, or wine, or juice. The bartender is a separate conversation, he behaves as if you came to his house and beg... True, they didn’t try to give a tip, maybe he would be kinder. For all the time there was not one normal dinner, definitely DO NOT TAKE DINNER.
There are no complaints about breakfast. Buffet, the choice is not large, but you will not be hungry.
Next is the beach. On the territory, of course, there is no pool, but we don’t need it, we came to the sea. The beach is municipal, but rather public, and looks like no man's; trash, weeds, nothing is removed. It poisons the rest. The sea is not far from the villa.
If you don’t want to wallow under the scorching sun on your towel, then you can buy a beach umbrella for 8 euros and carry it with you, and if you want it in style, then every day 10 euros for two sun loungers and an umbrella, and you will still carry your own towels, this is not Turkey.
In general, add another half to the initial price of the rest, because you will want to have lunch somewhere, and drink wine, and fruit and... and....in the end, the price is a good 5 in Turkey.
Sozopol itself is divided into the old town and the new one. There are places to walk and things to see. Cafes at every turn.

Thanks for a wonderful stay to the owner of the hotel Maria and the staff for their friendliness and attention. Their work was aimed at the comfortable location of the hotel guests. We were satisfied with the room, which had a balcony, from where there was a beautiful view of the sea and the city. The room is quite spacious and comfortable.

There were a huge number of flowers in the hotel, which was especially pleasantly struck - the flowers stood on both sides of the flights of stairs - on each step. We took a lot of photos and still admire this beauty. We bought a tour in Kyiv at the Albena travel agency - thank you so much to their managers for the wonderful organization of the holiday. Freedom of movement, eating, etc. The house has conditions for self-cooking, and this is very good, because sometimes you want to eat something familiar, homemade. And then it's a good money saver to eat at home. For me, the main thing in rest is comfort and peace. In this house I have the opportunity to relax as I want. Our family likes the proximity of the beach (only 100m), convenient location of shops, restaurants, bus station so much that the question of changing the place of rest does not even arise. The owners of the house, kind hospitable people, created a wonderful atmosphere for vacationers. Even on our first visit, we did not feel like just guests, and nothing more than friends.
