We were looking for a budget vacation. That's why we chose this hotel. The room is clean, everything is in order, yes, there are chipped plates in the restaurant, but I'm sorry for you 3 *. Buffet - without much abundance, peaches, apples, bananas, watermelons were present. You can eat. If you want something unusual - there are SEA places nearby where you can eat for any budget.

The hotel is well located - 200 meters from the sea, 600 meters from the supermarket, 900 meters from the city center. However, the place is quiet. The hotel rooms are good. There were 7 of us, we ordered a single and 2 studios. A single is a full-fledged double, one studio turned out to be a 2-room suite, and the second studio turned out to be a 2-room suite with a small kitchenette.

The rooms are nothing superfluous, but everything you need was and worked as expected. In one of the rooms, the drain in the shower was clogged - they came and fixed it within a few hours. The shower, of course, is specific - just part of the bathroom is fenced off with a curtain, and a drain is arranged in the floor, but, in general, this does not cause any inconvenience. The beds are normal, nothing creaks anywhere.
Room service is quite average, the staff clearly did not strain, and regardless of whether they left a tip or not. Towels were changed every other day, but they could forget to change.
At first they also changed linen every other day, in the last 4 days they stopped. Shampoos and shower gels where left, where not. But the cleanliness was maintained normally - they vacuumed, washed the floors.
The food is also average. If possible, take only a room, no food at all. To the embankment - Ropotamo Street, with a bunch of bistros and cafes, go 200 meters. Unfortunately, our operator did not have such an opportunity, so they took it with breakfast. The breakfast menu is monotonous and rather standard - boiled eggs, scrambled eggs, vermicelli, croutons, boiled sausages, vegetables, cuts of sausage, cheese, cheese. Sweet table - pastries of several varieties, croissant, fruits - apples, bananas and grapefruits. There are yogurts and cereals. Everything is generally edible, but it cannot be said that it is very tasty. Coffee and tea are frankly bad.
A huge plus of the hotel, as it turned out - the presence of a swimming pool. We were not lucky with the sea - almost all days there were strong waves and wind.
Red flags were hung on the beach - swimming is prohibited, lifeguards constantly whistle and drive people out of the water, and you can’t even go into the water with children.
Locals say that such weather is typical for August, and often strong excitement. It is a pity that we did not know this earlier - we would have gone in early September.
In the city: the most favorable exchange rate, both for the dollar and for the euro, is at the Corporate Bank of Targovskaya Bank, located on Parvi May Street, 2. It is literally a couple of steps from the center. For the exchange you need a passport, the bank works only on weekdays, there is a lunch break. We changed euros at the rate of 1.94 leva for 1 euro, dollars at 1.45. The exchangers had a rate of 1.92 and 1.42, respectively, they work until late and do not require documents. Do not change at the airport - there is an openly extortionate course.
A couple of times we went by train to the beach of the Zlatna Ribka campsite - there is a quiet bay, and the waves are smaller.
The train stops in the center at a bus stop, at the intersection of Republikanska and Stara Planina streets, and takes you to the Santa Marina complex, from there it’s not far to go. Rides every half an hour, from 9 am to 10 pm, a break from 1 pm to 3 pm, costs 2 leva per person.
Of the restaurants, we really liked Buena Vista and Rhodope Specialties on Ropotamo Street, and Sea Star on Lozengrad Street, 15. Very tasty fish was in the Zoya restaurant on Kraybrezhna Street (in the old town), but at prices This restaurant is one and a half times more expensive than all the others. I recommend to all connoisseurs of lamb to take "Cheverme" in the restaurant "Rhodopi specialities". A good Irish pub "Irish Affair" not far from the hotel. Prices in restaurants are almost the same everywhere, salad 4-6 leva, soup 2-3, main course with meat 8-20 lev, draft beer 2 lev.

The first pleasant surprise was... lunch after midnight, which was waiting for us, because. we checked in very, very late "thanks" to the carrier. The staff is professional! The rooms for both us and the children were spacious and clean. Territory: small, a lot of roses, there is a pool, although why is it, if the sea is nearby, about five minutes.

The beach is clean, the sea is a bit cool for me, who loves heat, but in September, it was like milk (the same country, only the city is different). As for food, take breakfasts and dinners, and dine in different cafes and restaurants, this is the only way you will feel the whole flavor of the local cuisine. In general, for families with children, the beach is not far, the hotel is not in the center, disco dances are not heard. And Sozopol itself is a very beautiful old town!

I have never rested in a 3 * hotel, but because in Sozopol, most of the 3 * hotels decided to go with a family !! ! Maybe it should be so, but compared to the Egyptian 4 + * Hera hotel is not very good !!! 1. The main disadvantage is the food!! ! Got NV! For breakfast - sausages (doubtful quality), powdered milk, scrambled eggs, croutons, tomatoes, cucumbers, buns, jams, muesli.

1. The main disadvantage is the food!! ! Got NV! For breakfast - sausages (doubtful quality), powdered milk, scrambled eggs, croutons, tomatoes, cucumbers, buns, jams, muesli. And this is all EVERY day, nothing new!! ! For dinner, two meat dishes and a side dish (1 or 2), tomatoes, cucumbers, watermelon, peaches (sometimes even good ones).
2. The second minus is that the water in the pool was green for 3 days (maybe we were so lucky), then they cleaned it and everything was fine!
3. The beach is a bit dirty - cigarette butts, etc. , although the sea is clean!!!
The sea is not far, on the way there really (as it is written in other reviews) there are rubbish bins, but they did not bother us !! ! But in general, for the money the rest is nothing! But next time - better Egypt or Turkey!! !
