Questionable place to stay. Firstly, it's just an unfinished complex with a protruding skeleton of another building that blocks the view of the sea. . . The road to the sea is basically tolerable, if you do not pay attention to the huge amount of garbage. The beach is large, but littered with cigarette butts, the Bulgarians smoke a lot and do not bother to throw cigarette butts into trash cans or some other place, they just stick them in the sand.

The beach is large, but littered with cigarette butts, the Bulgarians smoke a lot and do not bother to throw cigarette butts into trash cans or some other place, they just stick them in the sand. . . and that's it. . . There is a small town of Chernomorets not far from the complex, but to get to itit is possible only on a narrow road without sidewalks, which is simply overloaded with traffic, quite dangerous. On the plus side, it has its own restaurant, which, of course, is more expensive than in the city, and the proximity to the sea, that’s all... Yes, the communal pool is suspiciously muddy, there’s nothing for children, although some kind of garbage floats in it. In general, a dubious rest...

Rested at the Costa Bulgara hotel from August 16 to August 26.2013. I booked the Coral Hotel in Sozopol two weeks before the trip, which is located directly in the city itself, but it was not confirmed and they called me on the phone and offered an alternative hotel to the one I was trying to book, I was just busy at work and didn’t look reviews on the phone agreed to book this hotel and oddly enough the next day I got a call from a tour company and was told that the hotel was confirmed, this alerted me because I’m not going to Bulgaria for the first time and hotels in August were never confirmed the first time .

From Peter the plane took off at 7-00 o'clock. we arrived in Burgas at about 11 o'clock local time by bus, we took people to a couple of hotels in Burgas and went to Costa Bulgara when we drove through Chernomorets, there were several hotels in the wilderness, but we drove further along the road and after 1.5 km I saw my hotel Costa Bulgara and I was horrified by what I saw, the hotel is located in complete wilderness at a distance of 2 km from. Chernomorets, having arrived at the hotel in the region of 12-30 minutes, I was told that the check-in was at 14 o’clock and I spent this time at the reception, after they showed me the room, I checked in and changed clothes and decided to go to the sea, the hotel is located at a distance of 250-300 meters from the sea on a dusty rural road, another building is being built on the territory of the hotel, but it looks like it has become a long-term construction covered with a net and surrounded by a fence of reeds. And the next day, returning from the sea at about 18:00 before reaching the hotel, I saw a snake that stormed this reed fence, I was pleasantly surprised that snakes are also found here. Another disappointment was that there is simply nowhere to go for a walk here in the evening due to the fact that the hotel is located in an open field near the sea. I have never rested in such a wilderness, since the nearest center of civilization, the city of Chernomorets, is located 2 km from the hotel. The beach is sandy, more or less clean, a lot of algae. On the second day I decided to take a trip to Chernomorets. Walking 2 km, I covered in about 20 minutes. True, in the heat it is not very comfortable to stomp on foot. And when you walk along the road there is a chance to get hit by a car, because the Bulgarians are still those riders. There is no pedestrian zone, and the road is two-lane and very narrow, in order for two cars to pass, you need to pull over to the side of the road. By the way, in order to get from the hotel to Sozopol or Burgas, you must first get to Chernomorets on foot. . From Chernomorets buses run to Burgas and Sozopol almost every 20-30 minutes. In the description of the hotel, having already arrived home, I saw about regular buses to Sozopol from the hotel, there was nothing like this during my vacation, it is likely that there is still none. Summing up: We can say that I didn’t have such a terrible vacation in the wilderness, I couldn’t wait until 10 days were over. (paid in the amount of 40 thousand rubles). Yes, I want to add that this hotel is practically not visited by Russian tourists, I was alone in the hotel, even with a word they would exchange words with anyone, but I concluded that we are very fond of the Bulgarians. The next year will have to change the travel agency.

Boring and not worth the money. 100% unfinished with an unfinished building that breaks the whole view. One plus is that it is really close to the sea, as well as everywhere else, in more interesting places. To come in order to spend the night and in the morning to quickly run away somewhere....I think it's not worth it.

There is only a restaurant on the territory, there is nothing else at all, one advertisement. Nearby are more comfortable and cozy complexes. All the same, I want to come not only to sleep in the room, but to enjoy the comfort of the rest. Alas, it is not here. Sorry if I upset anyone. But I think it's better to be upset by a review than to come and be disappointed on the spot. You don't want to spoil your vacation.

The staff does not understand Russian well, although there are individuals who can communicate, mostly older people, and young people speak little Russian. In extreme cases, you have to switch to English. Our room was a studio. We arrived at night: the TV did not work, in the morning they really did it, in the morning they found the air conditioner was not working, by the evening they did it. then the lock on the door broke after three hours they repaired it. The Internet does not work, but they did it in three hours. What I liked was that they gave a different room during the renovation of the castle. No soundproofing in the room! the sound of the rain is like a drummer's practice above the ear. the neighbors went to the toilet, everything is audible, they walked along the corridor again, everything is audible. The staff does not refill shampoos and shower gels until you run into them. Linen is changed every three days. Breakfast buffet is poor, but considering that 3 stars it is tolerable. But if you take only breakfast, be prepared that there are no cafes around for lunch and dinner, and you will either have to eat in the same hotel restaurant or sit hungry. Prices in the restaurant are clearly high, at least in Chernomorets itself in cafes you can eat cheaper and tastier. By the way, the restaurant itself is open, and when it started to rain, the whole hotel tried to have breakfast on just a few tables that fit under the roof. The territory is small empty, there are no trees (not grown yet). There is nowhere to walk. Excursion tours are not offered, I had to run into the host tour operator and demand to organize excursions for us, but for the fact that this is a southern direction, south of Burgas, they take an additional 5 euros from any excursion. True, the host and their representative Ilya Khristov really tried very hard and was very hospitable, he speaks good Russian. The hotel is not bad for a holiday according to the "Turkish" option, all inclusive, do not go anywhere, only a beach holiday, no parties, prominats, etc. . Perfect for holidays with small children. But I don't go there anymore.

We rested in Costa Bulgara from August 31 to September 7.2012. Together (my mother and I). We got together for a trip in just a week. I couldn't find any reviews for this hotel on the internet. Therefore, I hope that in the future my review will help someone in the choice. We spent a lot of time at passport control.

About an hour and a half in a terrible crush and acute lack of air. It so happened that 3 planes flew in at the same time. People very quickly began to freak out, and many came to rest with very young children who, in such a terrible stuffiness, began to cry. At 20.00 it was already dark. We arrived at the hotel late (about 22.30 local time). While we were driving to the hotel, we first brought tourists to Amon Ra, Selena Beach. When we drove through the city, we were very happy with the abundance of shops, cafes, everything is very nice. And a little disappointed when we arrived at our hotel. Because there is simply nowhere to go for a walk here in the evening. The hotel itself is good, everything is neat and clean. But a very small area. One building with 69 rooms. Opposite it, a second building is being built (it spoils the view from the window a little). There were no Russians at the hotel when we arrived. Mostly locals rest because of low prices. There are a lot of vacationers with children, because the sea is quite shallow. Of the pluses: air conditioning in the room (although we only used it on the day of arrival, because it was very stuffy in the room, then we just left the door ajar), free internet (wi-fi, and you can also take a cable to the reception, though , it is short, about a meter). In the restaurant on site you can have lunch and dinner for money (if dinner is not included in the price). We only had breakfast included. Lunches or dinners on average here cost from 12 to 25 leva per person (although, depending on what to take))). But in Chernomorets we dined once, lunch for two cost 11 leva. The beach is sandy, more or less clean, a lot of algae. True, we were not very lucky with the weather, for several days it was cloudy in the morning and a high wave. On the second day we decided to take a trip to Chernomorets. Walk 2 km, about 30 minutes. True, in the heat it is not very comfortable to stomp on foot. And when you walk down the road there is a chance to get hit by a car. There is no pedestrian zone, and the road is two-lane and very narrow, in order for two cars to pass, you need to pull over to the side of the road. Chernomorets is a small coastal town, you can read a lot about it on the Internet. Housing is rented in almost every house on the main street, and people offering apartments are constantly sitting near the bus station. By the way, in order to get from the hotel to Sozopol or Burgas, you must first get to Chernomorets. And so to Sozopol from the hotel taxi 20 leva one way. From Chernomorets buses run to Burgas and Sozopol almost every 20-30 minutes. Taxi from Chernomorets to Costa Bulgar cost us 5 leva. As an option, rent a car, but, to be honest, I don’t know about the money, it will probably turn out to be expensive too, gasoline prices are slightly higher than ours. In the description of the hotel on many sites it is written that there is a bus from the hotel to Sozopol, apparently either it has not been allowed in yet))) or we got in the wrong season (but there is a strong feeling that it was not here in the season... ). As for the tour operator: the sending party is BiblioGlobus. They did everything quickly. Office on Prazhskaya. The girl suggested everything, offered hotels to choose from and tickets (given that we were going to go for a week). The choice of hotels at that time was not very large. We chose Costa Bulgar. Moreover, on some sites it was positioned as a hotel very close to the city of Sozopol! Only 5 km. In fact, it turned out that there is simply no transport from the hotel to the city. And what seemed very close turned out to be too far. The host was Alfa Service. We were met (there were 7 of us vacationing in different hotels) and taken by minibus. A day later, a representative of the company, Atanas Petrov, arrived. A very hospitable person. The truth speaks Russian not always clearly and he did not understand all our words, but he tried to oblige in everything. And he took me to the city in his car for groceries, and arranged a tour for us himself (it turns out that Alfa Service does not organize excursions if there are less than 8 people, as much is needed for a minibus). He tried to answer all sorts of questions, and if he did not know the answer to some, he apologized for a very long time. . ))) I wanted to see a local pet store, he immediately took me ))) Summing up: I liked the rest, when we arrived, it seemed that 7 days was a lot, when we left, it turned out to be very little. Of the advantages of the hotel: Well-groomed territory, its own restaurant, which does not even work in the "season" (next to St. Nicholas, it is closed until summer). The beach is quite clean, the sea is shallow (you can relax even with small children). Quite inexpensive (33.800 rubles for two, and this is with a flight). Pleasant rooms (we got a "studio" not very large, but we went to visit the apartments (which, as it turned out, are not much more expensive, there are 2 rooms: a bedroom and a living room. )) The studios and apartments have a kitchen, if you ask at the reception dishes can be cooked. Of the minuses: the lack of transport links nearby. In order to get to Sozopol, you have to walk (usually in the heat) about 2 km to the town of Chernomorets, or take a taxi, but it will cost a pretty penny)))... And a small area, in the evening, in fact, there is nothing to do. If you're hoping for animation, then it's not here (at least at the moment, maybe not the season, but the beauty salon and stuff didn't work either). But this place is ideal for a break from civilization))). . . Also, the construction outside the window was not very impressive, but it remains to be hoped that it will end soon. Judging by the layout at the reception, they have big plans, they are going to finish building the buildings, so in three years it should be good))) (although who knows these construction sites).
