Rested in this hotel from 06.07. 2014-13.07. 2014. To be honest, we were very upset because we had a rest at the Marvel Hotel a year ago, so I had to compare. Both hotels are 4 *, but if Strandja has 4 *, then Marvel has all 6 *. I really didn’t like the hotel staff, it turns out they did us a favor when they checked us in at 14:30 (although there are exceptions there). Well, in general, from here in more detail: As soon as we arrived at the hotel at 8:30 in the morning, we were immediately told that we would not have lunch, since this was not included in the price, that is, we would only have dinner. We were also told that we can dine at the hotel if we pay 25 leva. We decided that we were going to some kind of restaurant, especially since last year we didn’t manage to eat there, because in Marvel we were immediately put on bracelets and we dined with everyone. Well, that's been decided. We walked, swam in the sea and ate in a good restaurant on the seashore. Then they came to wait for the settlement. There, check-in is at 14:30, but by 13:40 some people arrived and they were immediately settled. The husband could not stand it and came up to find out how it happened that for some reason we were left to wait, and someone was settled upon arrival. We were told that they paid for lunch, so check-in immediately. I had to swear, because it is at least ugly. We are waiting with a child, and they just arrived and immediately drove into the room. After 30 minutes, we were offered to bring documents and offered a room on the first floor, later it turned out that the plaster was falling from the ceiling and the room smelled of dampness. Remote control and hairdryer must be taken at the reception. Also, it turned out after 2 days (when they bought juice for the child) that the refrigerator was not working. Ice cream was not given every day as it was in Marvel (there was also a very nice room and everything worked properly). During our entire stay, ice cream was given only 2 times. Also, you can’t take anything out of the dining room here, the waiter will come running after you and tear it out of your hands. We somehow decided to take sweets for the child (a couple of potato balls with coconut flakes), so they snatched it from our hands in the corridor. Imagine running after us to pick them up. We were in total shock!! ! Wow, and in Marvel they took it all out to the pool bar. And not only sweets, ice cream and fruits, but all the snacks that are left (except soups). In general, non-stop food, but here they just took a couple of potato balls. Also, I liked the baby pillow. There is a pillow on the back of the folding sofa, so they stuck it (they didn’t put it in, since I would have tried to put it in for a long time) into a small pillowcase and apparently the child was supposed to sleep on this 0.5 meter pillow. Thought maybe my husband could do it. Bottom line: the husband slept the first night without a pillow. The most interesting thing is different. The next day, in the morning, I go up to the woman at the reception and say that we don’t have one pillow and, if possible, they can bring it to us. We come from the sea and see: The same backrest for the chair is worn in the same pillowcase, and the same women work there, there was no replacement (I found out, there is no replacement for them at all, they live there). I come with this pillow to the reception and show it. After 30 minutes we had a normal pillow. After the incident with the pillow, I had to figure out why our mattress stinks of urine. And you know what they told us that our child described him. The child is 7 years old and she has not done anything like this for a long time, especially since we had a mattress on the 2nd bed, and the child slept on a folding chair. I also really liked that they don’t have teaspoons, but that they are needed in a 4 * hotel? The only good thing I can say is that the chefs tried very hard. The food was delicious and more or less varied. Also, the waiters there are very friendly and nice. We arrived from vacation and we feel that it was as if they were mocking us, and they threw the same money away.
