This hotel is one of the noisiest in Sunny Beach. Resting mostly Jewish youth (male). Comes off completely. They smoke schmal, they drink all sorts of garbage. After neodekvat complete. They yell, bang their heads, hands and feet on the wall and doors, smash furniture and crap everywhere! Moreover, passing near your room, or sitting near your balcony, especially if you are not a Jew - they will do it louder. The receptionist can't do anything. They don't want to call the police. And no one is afraid of the police here, because if they arrive, then only in about an hour.
I do not recommend for families, but if you want, then closer to the reception.
I recommend to crazy boys - here you can come off in full!
By the way, many tour operators either do not know about this, or do not agree. They didn’t tell me about this (Belarus, Grodno, Tez tour)

To the sea 7 minutes walk and this is the only plus along the way. To the very center of Sunny Beach (Kuban Hotel) about 12-15 minutes on foot. The first supermarket is 50 meters from the hotel, and there are a lot of shops and cafes nearby. The farther from the center and from the sea, the cheaper it is to eat in cafes.
The beach is dirty, a lot of garbage - bags, bottles, cigarette butts, etc.
And now about the hotel itself - we arrived at 5.30 in the morning, check-in at 14.00, we were settled at 12.00, thanks to them for this, but as it turned out, it was possible to pay 20 euros and check in immediately and not wait half a day, but no one told us this. The hotel consists of two buildings, the hotel itself - there are 6 or 7 floors and across the road De Luxe - there are 4 floors. Some windows overlook a noisy highway, others look at the hotel. ROOM CLEANING IS SIMPLY TERRIBLE, they don’t really worry about it, one day they didn’t clean it at all, after we told about it at the reception, then the next day they just removed the garbage from the trash, about washing the floor or sweeping, no one bothered, no one made the bed, but it’s not important for me, it’s not hard for me to do it myself (but by the standards of three-star hotels they are required). The floor was constantly wet in the shower, as either the toilet cistern, or the toilet itself, or the washbasin, or all of this together, was leaking. One light bulb in the room did not work. The balcony is tiny and is separated from the neighboring one by a low side, if you wish, you can easily climb over to visit your neighbors. Well, at least there was a normal air conditioner and a TV - a decent plasma. Towels NEVER CHANGED, about bed linen just do not say anything. There were 2 towels per person, although there should be 3 for a three star hotel.
The INTERNET is generally a separate issue. The first day was normal, on the second it didn’t catch anything, after they told about it at the reception, they made round eyes and said that they couldn’t do anything, that everyone was complaining and they didn’t know what to do. There was a password-protected very good Wi-Fi, but for some reason the employees do not know what kind of Wi-Fi it is and where it came from, but by a strange coincidence it is called the same as the hotel. HM. . .
POOL - too small for such a hotel, not enough sunbeds for all. If you do not come at 7-8 in the morning and do not throw a towel on the sunbed, then there will be no place by the pool. The pool was cleaned only on the first day we arrived, after that I never saw it cleaned and a lot of hair, chips, etc. floated.
BREAKFAST - the food is not very tasty, there is no variety - cereal with milk, yogurt or kefir, two types of sausages, scrambled eggs, cucumbers, tomatoes, peppers, lettuce, cabbage, boiled eggs, bread, butter, cheese, cheese (very tasteless), two or three types of sausage, al dente buckwheat (already crunches in the mouth, it is so undercooked), pasta, croutons, apples, plums, sweet water (like fanta very diluted with water without gas), on the last day spoiled peppers were served on the third day already tired of eating it. But, they make delicious cappuccino and coffee is also good, at least this.
The toilet near the reception almost never had toilet paper and paper towels, you had to constantly go to the reception and ask.
A lot of noisy Turks rest in this hotel. I am writing the word "noisy", since a review with mats is unlikely to be published. They absolutely do not know how to behave, they yell day and night, they break glass glasses right in the pool, they smoke right in the pool (namely, in the water). The hotel administration ignored complaints about them and pretended that they did not notice anything, although they themselves passed several times and saw everything.
THE HOTEL IS STILL VERY FAR UP TO THREE STARS, so I do not recommend it!

In Bulgaria, there are some reviews about the hotel, but others from home....A very weak hotel, they took all inclusive, the line for food was 5 meters and there were always empty trays, you had to wait until they deigned to bring something to eat. The SEA is beautiful, as for black.

At the Tia Maria Hotel, I stayed with my friends, we chose it spontaneously and we liked it very much. The hotel has a small but comfortable swimming pool, the reception staff are friendly and speak Russian, the rooms are spacious and clean, with all amenities. What I didn’t like was the kitchen, it was just awful, we ate only fruits, but on the floor above at the bar, you could eat well for 10-15 leva. … More ▾ At the Tia Maria Hotel, I stayed with my friends, we chose it spontaneously and we liked it very much. Accommodation: 5+! Although I traveled with friends, at night I sometimes wanted to sleep and not hear loud music and noise, which do not allow to sleep in hotels closer to the "Kuban". Although I traveled with friends, at night I sometimes wanted to sleep and not hear loud music and noise, which do not allow to sleep in hotels closer to the "Kuban". The road to the sea takes 10 minutes, if you go not the main street, but the streets past other hotels ("Iskar", etc. ). If you go through the main street, you can go to a huge number of souvenir shops along the way. Not far from the hotel (10-15 minutes) is the supermarket "Youth", where all local and informed tourists gather. If you decide to buy products (including alcohol) - here are the lowest prices and a fairly wide range!

Meals: breakfast is not impressive variety. These are mainly salads, omelets, sausages, muesli, fruit, coffee and tea. Although we had enough. We could not miss dinner : ) There are many to choose from and very tasty!
I liked the national cuisine, although on the 10th day Shopska salad could not eat : ) Odessa).
But if you decide to include food, be sure to have dinner : )

Rooms: we stayed in a room for three (took an extra bed). The room is quite spacious, there is a refrigerator, air conditioning, TV. Cleaning and linen change suited us. There was a case when it was not cleaned, but after a call to the reception everything was fixed immediately! Surprisingly, most of the staff are young, and they hold on to their work, so they are always friendly. I did not like the fact that the "rent" of the iron is paid (1 or 2 euros, I do not remember). The hotel has a swimming pool, bar and terrace for relaxing.

One more moment. If you are traveling by bus, a shuttle to the hotel is usually not included.
For taxi drivers there is a statutory fee, which should not exceed 3 euros per km, but from tourists who have just been thrown off the bus with bags, they rub 10 euros for 500 meters! Here you decide how to deal with them : )

To say that I liked my vacation in Bulgaria is just to keep silent! I LOVED IT SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO good!!!! But! Let's put emotions aside for a moment, and I'll tell you on the merits. But! Let's put emotions aside for a moment, and I'll tell you on the merits.
We rested in Sunny Beach (Sunny Beach), hotel "Tia Maria". 3 * hotel, I immediately warn you, for whom it is important, the hotel is located on the 3rd line, across the road, to the sea on foot for 10-15 minutes at a leisurely pace. For us, this was acceptable, because. we wanted to walk a lot.
The hotel itself is small and very, very cozy. It is located near the road, but not on the road itself, but a little to the side, although traffic noise is still audible (the windows were not closed at night, there was something with air conditioning, so also keep in mind who this is important for). In the hotel, as in other hotels in Bulgaria, in the lobby bar there is free Wi-Fi, safes for extra. a fee (as I understand it, it is customary in Bulgaria), a pool, umbrellas and sun loungers by the pool are free of charge. We took only breakfast, but the hotel offers breakfast and dinner. Food according to the "buffet" system. I don’t know what was served for dinner, but for breakfast there was a summer salad (cucumbers, tomatoes, feta cheese), separately chopped beets, carrots, cabbage, corn grains, black olives, various sausages, sausages, boiled eggs, several types of omelettes, feta cheese, butter, jams, curdled milk, cereals, muesli, chocolate balls, toast, fruit, watermelon, tea, coffee, fruit juice. We were there for a week, the assortment never changed (I write for those who are especially picky, so that they don’t complain later : -)), but for us it didn’t matter, we didn’t come there to overeat, after all!
I won’t please anything about cleaning the room either, we didn’t follow the maids : -) In the morning, when we get up, we go straight to the beach. We return for dinner - everything has already been cleaned, the bed has been made, the curtains are drawn. Linen was changed, as I understand it, 1 time in 3 days (I also write for the especially capricious, but for us these are insignificant trifles). And by the way, there were no toiletries (soap, shampoo) either, but it doesn’t matter for us - we bought a wonderful shampoo with rose water. The only thing that surprised me a little was an iron for 2 leva (for reference, 1 euro - 2 leva) per hour. Well, figs, I took it, paid, quickly stroked everything (and in my own room) and took it to the reception. A very friendly girl Silvia worked there, she speaks a little Russian, and even better - English.
In general, we did not experience any problems with the language. Everywhere - in cafes, shops, souvenir shops, on buses, etc. , etc. - Everyone understands and speaks Russian, sometimes even very well. Sometimes I read in the reviews that, they say, the attitude towards Russian-speaking tourists is biased - I don’t know, I have never encountered it. We were all greeted kindly, as they say, "any whim for your money! " : -) Speaking of money. In Bulgaria, although they are in the European Union, levs still go, there are exchangers everywhere, but you need to be very, very careful. Our guide from the travel agency strongly advised us to change money in banks or CROWN exchangers, in others the exchange rate is usually very unfavorable. We were careful, and then once we made a mistake, just in the exchange office (quite official, legal, with checks), they changed the 100-euro coin very unprofitably. Well, God bless her....And of course, do not mess with street money changers, there are heaps of them walking there...
And the rest is just wonderful! The sea is warm-warm, the sand is soft-soft! Sun! Oh, you have to be very careful here! Be sure, on the very first day, at the very first hour, as you leave the hotel, smear yourself with a good sunscreen, otherwise you will burn to nothing, and the whole rest will be a waste! The sun is very deceptive there: it warms gently, gently, and then kaaaaak starts frying!!! ! So without cream and without a hat - God save you lean out in the sun.
The beach in Sunny Beach is municipal, there are paid and free zones. Paid - where there are umbrellas and sun loungers, 7 leva each. As you pay for an umbrella or deck chair, you will definitely get a check, everything is official. And further, behind the zone of umbrellas, a little further from the sea (10-15 meters) - a free zone, you can stay there absolutely calmly. Just be sure to buy your own umbrella (they are sold everywhere in the shops, as well as mats, creams, towels, various inflatable watercraft), don’t even think about settling in the open sun - burn out in 15 minutes !!!!
Entertainment - everyone finds himself. There are various water activities, you can also ride a velomobile, a small steam locomotive, a horse carriage, a moped. All kinds of extreme entertainment such as bungee, parachute, etc. They offer many excursions, near the ancient city of Nessebar (10 minutes by public transport, 1 lev one way), there is also something to see.
In general, you can and should have a rest in Bulgaria!!!!
Have a nice rest and a lot of impressions!!! !
