After reading the previous negative reviews about this hotel, we did not even consider it as one of the options for our holiday. But in InterCity we were told that the new owner of the hotel guarantees a decent rest for a low price. And we made up our minds, because we have been traveling from InterCity for several years. For two weeks we have never regretted that we came to this hotel (thanks InterCity! ). We did not even expect that in three stars it could be no worse than in four (before that we were in a 4 * hotel), and even better. Instead of a standard one-room suite, we were expecting a two-room suite with a beautiful view of the pool. To the sea - within reach! The food is delicious, varied, a lot of fruits, desserts, ice cream for lunch and dinner. All in all, a great vacation! The hotel staff is polite and helpful. Would like to come back here again.

For two weeks we have never regretted that we came to this hotel (thanks InterCity! ). We did not even expect that in three stars it could be no worse than in four (before that we were in a 4 * hotel), and even better. Instead of a standard one-room suite, we were expecting a two-room suite with a beautiful view of the pool. To the sea - within reach! The food is delicious, varied, a lot of fruits, desserts, ice cream for lunch and dinner. All in all, a great vacation! The hotel staff is polite and helpful. Would like to come back here again. Thanks to the whole staff of the hotel "Polyusi" for an unforgettable vacation and the travel agency "InterCity" (in particular, Maria Prokofieva) for persuading us to come here.

As far as I understand, everything has changed in the hotel quite recently. And how much, I don’t know, because when I was going to Bulgaria, I also doubted, reading the reviews. The manager of Ambotis, however, told me that there is a renovation, new management, and the price has not increased (yet! ) so it's a good option.

It’s not that I took my word for it, it also said that even old reviews made it clear that the location was good, a lot of pools, a good beach, restaurants and clubs nearby, or you don’t have to go beyond the territory, and there are cafes on it. And I don’t have many requirements for rooms and service.
However, the most successful option in terms of cost was all incl, it included Bulgarian alcohol, of quite decent quality. Food without pretensions on my part in general, and fruits and meat on an open fire. As a result, cafes are more economical, although they are also inexpensive here.
The room looked decent and everything was in the bathroom, cleaning was sometimes noticed, although we often left the room later than the cleaning time. There is a water park nearby, but it was out of my area of interest. And so, what else is interesting - that it is, as it were, a secluded place, surrounded by greenery, and at the same time inside the Security Council.

For dinner - a piece of hard, fried meat with morning potatoes. The next day, cutlets are made from meat that was not eaten - in 13 days I made an accurate conclusion. The hotel is mostly foreigners. This is what let us down! German youth is something! They sleep and drink alcohol by the pool all day, then they yell and run around the hotel like crazy all night, knocking on the rooms of strangers. So you can forget about restful sleep. An acquaintance with his wife and child lived in the apartment. On the 5th day of our stay, the room was robbed. The doors were opened with a key. They stole a camera, a tablet and little things. It is good that they carried their passports and tickets with them. I can imagine the problems if the passports were stolen. Well, I will keep silent about the Bulgarian police - polite smiles and ignorance of the Russian language. The hotel sent a cleaner to the room with a bottle of champagne and a box of chocolates as compensation. The manager of the hotel was never found during the entire stay. Once I decided to use Wi-Fi in the hotel lobby, which, by the way, is not free - 3 leva per hour, but I could not because of technical problems that the hotel staff could not fix. I didn't try to go online anymore. A few words about the cafe "Tanya", where I was lucky enough to have lunch a couple of times. Now I understand what food is in the European Union. The vaunted national cuisine of Bulgaria does not even smell. No, there are dishes with well-known names, but all food is from thawed products, garnish - thawed corn, peas, carrots, again "foam" potatoes. The famous wines of Bulgaria - sour meat, cost from 35 leva per bottle. But, this is an amateur. In short, Bulgaria left a depressing impression, and not only because of the quality of food and accommodation. The only thing that pleased me was the good weather during my stay in the European Union. ))

The hotel is very compact and cozy, it consists of two 6-storey buildings, mostly 4-bed rooms. Because this hotel is visited by families or companies, like us. The main contingent is the British, a few Ukrainians and very few Belarusians, the Russian is generally a drop in the ocean.
I was worried that it would be very noisy, but I was absolutely mistaken, at about 11 o'clock the British go to a karaoke bar and sing songs while sipping cocktails one after another, not sparing money and health. It is very quiet on the territory all night, and during the day in the sleepy all the same Englishmen lie by the pool, so if you want to lie down there, you need to get up early and take a sunbed with a towel. There are 3 pools on the territory: one is very large , the 2nd is shallow - for children, and the third, behind one of the buildings, is deep, but small.
There are three restaurants, you can order anything for lunch, but it will be a little more expensive than outside the territory. We went around 8 different cafes in 10 days and there is something to compare with (photo is attached), the farther into the depths, the cheaper and tastier.
Breakfasts at the hotel are monotonous, as they say daily stability (fries, scrambled eggs, fried eggs, boiled eggs, croutons, tomatoes, cucumbers, 3 types of sausages, 2 types of sausages, cheese, butter, milk, breakfast cereals, watermelon, oranges, apples, powdered juices, tea, coffee, jam, croissants, buns with jam), a little fed up, but you can live.
Our room was on the first floor - 12A, the windows overlooked the backyard where the 3rd pool was located. The room has air conditioning, but we never used it, since the first floor is quite cool, we even had to take a blanket. We went to the 6th floor, it was very stuffy there, I think they used the conder there. The room has a bit of an unpleasant smell of dampness, but measured. Take a clothesline with clothespins, because the laundry is dried on the balcony railings and it constantly falls, so living on the ground floor we always collected other people's underpants, T-shirts, etc. There is a TV, a lot of Russian channels, but we mostly watched their local music, funny to tears. Cleaned every day, but modestly, towels and linen had to be asked to be changed.
By the way, we had an emergency, so I am writing for those who, like us, were afraid to use insurance. My husband's ear was stuffed up and pus started 3 days later. We called the hospital, the number is indicated in the insurance, embellished the story (we were advised so that the doctor would arrive faster) and lo and behold, after 20 minutes. they came for us and took us to the hospital, there very friendly guys, who spoke Russian well, gave us a form to fill out and sent to the ENT, he looked at the ear, gave antibiotics and drops, explained in broken Russian, but everything was clear and wished a speedy recovery, they didn’t pay anything and We received excellent service, thank you very much. Sitting in the hospital, I saw enough of everything, people even went to the hospital, that's how unlucky they were. Of course, it is better not to get sick, but if something happens, do not be afraid to call the insurance company, as they specifically scare that the treatment is expensive, but it is really expensive if you consult a doctor from the hotel.
Prices have been raised this year for everything, which is why Bulgaria is a little disappointed compared to last year. Small changes were made on the beach, special zones were set aside for freeloaders, like us, and on a paid one they drove to the fullest, asking 8 lev for a place on the sand. Sun bed - 8 lev, umbrella - 8 lev. The sea this year is very dirty, we were in shock, constantly algae, garbage. We went to a nudist beach, where the sea is cleaner and calmer.
We went to the Aquapark in Nessebar for my birthday, I thought that it would be free for me, I even took a passport, figurines, paid 38 leva for one. The water park did not impress, but Crimea is even cooler (Koktebel), you can count on the fingers how many times it rolled down the slides, almost once on each one, since the queues are kilometer long, received 4 injuries - "awesome" D. R. Cool attraction - rafting - a lot of fun and laughed heartily, we do not have this. Prices for food as in the restaurants at the hotel.
This is such a vacation, and rest is always good.
