Having rested together with a friend in the Lyon hotel, we got:
- cozy spacious room with air conditioning
- good, varied food
- acceptable service
"Missed":
- any drinks for dinner (although this is the practice in all hotels in Bulgaria),
to solve this problem, they ordered 0.5 homemade wine for dinner for 5 leva (2.5 euros)
- the sea nearby and free lying near the water : )
What is meant is that the hotel does not have its own beach, it takes 5-7 minutes to go to the sea. But even in hotels of the 1st line, you must pay for sunbeds and umbrellas, otherwise you must sunbathe in the "free" zone 30 meters from the water. We solved this problem simply - we laid towels 15 meters away and pretended that we didn’t understand what the fundraisers were saying to us in Bulgarian-English : ) And they apparently didn’t really want to mess around with two strange girls and soon left us alone.

By the way, another plus of the hotel: Lyon, like many other hotels in Sunny Beach, occupies a very small area, but it is located in such a way that they managed to place a good pool on the territory of the hotel, which is cozy for both kids and adults. In principle, we spent more time in the pool than at sea, because. I was too lazy to walk, and the sea in Bulgaria is shallow and calm : )
Further, don’t get me wrong, but the absence of Russians in the hotel will also add to the pluses : ) Only at the end of the tour a couple of nice young ladies from Saratov appeared in the hotel, and the hotel mainly accepts Germans and Czechs, which has a positive effect on the service.
The room was cleaned, there was enough food for everyone, regardless of what time you come, the hotel looks strictly and beautifully exactly as in the photo - in principle, there is nothing to complain about.
Not enough entertainment - there is no animation and live music in the restaurant (and thank God! ), but right next to the hotel there is a bus stop number 1, which goes through the entire sunny beach (through the center with its central embankment, shops, restaurants, etc. ), to the old city Nessebar - which I definitely advise you to visit.
So if you are a family with children or just want a quiet measured rest - you are in Lyon! : )
