Rested from 09.07. 12-23.07. 12 in the boarding house "Aquaray", which is located in Sunny Beach. We are very sorry that we chose this hotel. The guesthouse is located near the main road, very noisy and unpleasant smell from cars. Poor location - 30 minutes walk to the center, 15 minutes to the supermarket. Walk 10 minutes to the sea, you need to cross the main road, which is not very convenient with children. On the beach, sun loungers and umbrellas are paid, 16 leva. There is no garden on the territory, as they write on the site, there is no forest nearby either. There is no parking either, the car stood on the road near the guesthouse for 2 weeks.
"Aquaray" in the photo seems to be not bad, it seems the pool is big, but it's not. The pool is not big, the water is changed before the season, once a year, so the chemistry and the smell of bleach are very noticeable. There are 6 sun loungers by the pool although there are 12 rooms. Umbrellas should be asked for from the manager, Stoyan (a man of about 60 with age-related insanity, but more on that below), he constantly hid them. The rooms were cleaned 1 time in 14 days, shampoo and soap were never seen. The bed, towels are dirty - unpleasant, no one changed them, even when asked. In the bathroom, the drain was constantly clogged, resulting in ankle-deep water.
I remembered Stoyan, the manager, now I will tell you in more detail. He lives on the property with his wife. They check in, check out and take care of everything. His woman cleans the rooms, as I already wrote 1 time in 14 days, and then after the scandal.
There is a kitchen on site where you can cook your own food. So this Stoyan, grill, microwave, electric stove every day hid. So I had to keep asking. To use the grill, you first had to buy firewood from him. There is a lock on the refrigerator, the key was constantly in Stoyan. If he is not there, or he is sleeping - all without their products. The air conditioner was not often turned on. If he saw, he shouted to turn it off, or he went into the room and turned it off. The Internet catches only near his room, but he does not allow to sit on the stairs, where there is Internet, because it interferes with him. On the day of departure, we had to vacate the rooms before 13:00. At 09:00, Stoyan and his wife entered the room and said that we had 30 minutes. to get together because they have other people to come.
What an interesting stay in this guesthouse. I don't recommend going there.
Despite this terrible attitude, we had a good rest, created a good mood for ourselves and did not pay attention to the "morons". I can say one thing for sure, the boarding house "Akvarey" is a spoiled nerve and money thrown to the wind.
