Probably, it would be foolish to expect a quality holiday from a country like Bulgaria. So it, in general, and it turned out. Moreover, as far as I understood, the point here was not even so much in the hotel, but, in principle, in the inability of the Bulgarians to create good conditions for recreation. But still, we got everything that we got in this hotel, so that's what we're talking about.
It all started quite promisingly, the sea surf right at the windows, the smell of the sea, the usual heat for southern countries. And then the trouble began.
Firstly, as it turned out, there are practically no conditions for outdoor activities in Obzor. The promised tennis table stood perfectly for show. I have never seen anyone play for him. The net was removed, rackets and balls can not be interrogated. I found only one bike rental for the whole city. On the embankment, about five hundred meters from the hotel, if you walk from the city center. By the way, the bikes were terrible, but I have somehow got used to it in the southern countries.

The representative of the tour operator immediately explained that, in principle, it is not worth waiting for something outstanding from Bulgaria, because: “A chicken is not a bird, Bulgaria is not abroad. ” These words haunted me all vacation. On the second day, the child and I were poisoned so much that I had to call a doctor. True, I did not understand what, sea water or the terrible food that was served to us in the dining room.
I am used to the fact that my tastes are much higher than that of the average Russian, so if you are used to relaxing like a savage on the shores of Crimea or Abkhazia, you can read no further. The food here most of all resembled the food in our factory and college canteens. If meat, then from canned food with stew, if a side dish, then mixed with this same meat. Everything is fatty, overcooked, a significant part of the food is from semi-finished products (frozen bags). "Clean" dishes in greasy stains.
The cheapest tea bags. Not even black, but some kind of flower. On the crusts of chopped melon and watermelon, the earth. From which it could be concluded that they were not even washed. Bread with mold. You can list for a long time. I tried to eat only what I had the least doubt.
On the night when I was especially sick and hugging the toilet, I heard that at least two others were doing the same in neighboring rooms. In general, many complained about the quality of the food, many argued with the service staff. I had to run into the manager. By the way, he turned out to be quite sane and quite intelligent. After a second conversation with him, the situation in the dining room has changed. Certainly not drastically, but still it became somehow tolerable. True, by the time of departure, everything returned to normal, and the wife was poisoned on the very last day, on the way she had to clean her stomach from the wrong side.
Was there anything good about this holiday? Well, yes, for example, only here I practiced slides with a length of six kilometers with an average gradient of more than five percent and sections of five hundred meters with a gradient of ten kilometers, moreover, with practically no motor transport. I mean a circle of 45 kilometers "Obzor-Popovich-Dyulino-Goritsa-Byala-Obzor".

I do not want to list all the negative experience of staying in Bulgaria. After all, this can go on and on for a very long time. One can remember the idiots of the Bulgarians screaming at the windows of sleeping people at night with a clear desire to wake them up. You can remember the car that we were given for rent, which should have been scrapped a long time ago. Well, God be with him all. Now I at least know what Bulgaria is. Perhaps in Abkhazia you can relax better. And Turkey after this holiday is generally a paradise for tourists. In short, countries should be visited in ascending order, then there will be no disappointments.
