In my reviews, I always make a reservation that I plan a summer vacation before the New Year and immediately book a hotel, draw up a holiday program myself (I don’t like to shake operators), study all the reviews and communicate with the locals of the country where I am going to go))) )) therefore, the rest is always good, not boring, harmonious, without sick and dissatisfied (I have been traveling for 20 years . . I raised children on trips). This time, take the Moscow-Burgas train (tickets for 45 days are not a problem there and back with a good discount), we bought a coupe for two and looked very good compared to other passengers who stuffed themselves like a herring into a barrel with children and dogs. The road is easily tolerated, there is air conditioning, again, if you know how to keep yourself ))))) Tui's driver was waiting for us on the platform and took us to the hotel (the road from Burgas is 35 minutes). draw conclusions - they will not live in a bad place.
Tip number 1 Do not settle above the 2nd floor (you'll have to wait half a day to go up), and we walk up and down.
Tip number 2 Try not to take a sea view, i. e. swimming pool (silence on vacation, in fact, creates relaxation, as well as savings of about 10 thousand).
The food is very good and varied....IT IS PROVIDED FOR ALL AGES (from fresh milk, yogurts and cereals to french fries, which they played football there... uncivilized Russian children abandoned by their parents), that is, everything is there, both meat and pockmarks and kebabs and grill and vegetables and fruits desserts - I think this is not worth discussing - Sol hotels are always famous for service and food....I only rest in them . . my children never got sick on trips, though they don’t have the habit of drinking water there are chips in the pool, you need to take care of the children, then the rest will be good. The rooms are new, clean, cleaned perfectly, everything worked, the minibar is a bit weak. The animators are excellent, they are busy with the children all day long, they also liked entertainment for adults - salsa lessons, water polo, volleyball and shooting. For those who like to drink - cocktails are weak, beer too, but this is a guarantee that everyone is alive)))))) ))))
I am a political historian, therefore the Balkans and the city of Nessebar are of particular non-tourist interest to me, rich history, wars, excavations. people don’t go out to the balcony at all - solid thunder and lightning, there’s nowhere for an apple to fall on the beaches. 2 buses went there from our hotel....it seems 5 stops (1 lev fare, 15 lev taxi). Creams, products, gifts - a supermarket Mladost - 2 stops from the hotel (you can walk). . by the way, the hotel itself is located in the village of Ravda. . It is inexpensive, the cars are good, there are no problems with gasoline and roads (many Bulgarians have not been in their capital in their entire lives, for them 200 km is like the Far East for us))))) so the roads are always free, you are welcome everywhere, with an overnight stay no problems. Who will be interested, I will tell you about Rupite (Vanga), Peter Ich, Sofia, Plovdiv and other cities....for 3 days everyone looked)))))) Do not listen to anyone about any infections and difficulties that sick people create, take your license and boldly go to the Balkans. The hotel is excellent , the sea is wonderful (as for the beach - IT DOES NOT BELONG TO THE HOTEL and therefore the hotel and the beach are different things).
Tip number 3 - swim on the beach away from the sunbeds (the sea is clean and the sand is clean).
Tip number 4 do not lie in the shade in the pines - firstly, it's cool, and secondly, there is a rookery of abnormal Russians. . mat. . cards. . or on children. . foreigners sunbathe by the pool.
Tip number 5 feel free to take the train, but buy a compartment for two or three. Speaking of the train... it leaves Burgas at 20.05, and not as indicated on the tickets at 20.30 and in the schedule at 20.15. ))))) many were late.
Tip # 6 Do not throw away train tickets there upon arrival in Burgas, they are the return tickets (some were not put on the train).
Tip # 7 Book a hotel in February - it's cheaper.
Advice No. 8 Take a car to the Balkan Express (25 euros per day... at the hotel -80 euros per day).
Advice No. 9 Gifts are purely symbolic - creams, lotions, rose oil - are cheaper in the supermarket.
Advice No. 10 Do not collect a lot of things - there is nowhere to wear, dresses and shoes, boots, jeans are not needed)))))) Be sure to visit the Balkan Circus, this is a class - good clowns and an interesting program)))))) write... there is something tell. . .
The hotel rooms are spacious, not "super", but very solid. The building and grounds are similar to Soviet-era sanatoriums, but at the same time, all the best is taken and, of course, with excellent service. The staff is unobtrusive, pleasant. The biggest plus, perhaps, is the food (beef, pork, chicken, lamb, a couple of times a rabbit; a variety of fruits: watermelons, melon, peaches, apples, pears, plums, apricots, kiwi, pineapples a couple of times). The sweet was not particularly impressive (but the figure was better preserved). I liked the animation, especially the kids club (but not the Toucan, which everyone praised), but at the hotel. In Tukan, indeed, only those who traveled through the TUI are recorded on a voucher (we are). Because of the Toucan, they preferred Nessebar Bay, but they liked Nessebar Palace more, and the club from the hotel was located in Mare (there were slides and children entertained more fervently and invited everyone from 4 years old). The territory is common (because of this, the hotel wins in comparison with nearby ones, where there is only a building and access to the sea. ) Because of the beach, I doubted this hotel for a long time (I read reviews), but don’t even hesitate (if you are not an avid diver ). The beach strip is narrow, but long, there was everything, sand to the very buoys. The sea is shallow, under the buoys, probably three meters, but warm. Algae was, it's true, but we found the leftmost (meaning left) point of the beach, where there was practically no algae. And if you go to the neighboring beach (on the left through the net), there is deeper and there are no algae. In the descriptions of the hotel it is noted that the second line is also across the road, but in fact there is no road and the sea is 3 minutes away.
I liked the territory, pines, deciduous, fruit trees, squirrels.
Outside the territory of the hotel we went towards Ravda and Nessebar. It's lively in Nessebar. It is better to go to the old city (1 lev by bus) there and the exchange rate is higher and interesting. The first time they tried to walk, with the child they only reached the new part of the city.
I didn’t really like this part of Bulgaria itself - all in construction sites and mini-hotels. About 15 years ago we rested in Albena, even then it was livelier and prettier than on this side. But if you still go in this direction, then only to hotels of the sol network, because we have not met more worthy ones.
hotels. They are located in the form of the letter P. In the center are 5 * (Palace), on the sides are two 4 * (on the left is Mare, on the right is Bay). The complex has a common
sun terrace down to the sea.
The hotel deserves its 4 stars. Both the restaurant and the rooms and the territory, and the animation for children - everything is worthy of all praise.
I recommend it for holidays with children. On the territory there is a lot of things for children to relax, including two water slides.
Upon arrival at the hotel, we were already waiting at the reception and were immediately given the keys. The room is very spacious and comfortable. Good bathroom.
The room was with a side view of the sea and the central pool near the top five. I recommend paying in advance for a sea view, on another
side of the room look at the road and the burnt field. The room is equipped with air conditioning. Be sure to take a second one at the reception
card, then you can leave one inserted in the room so that the air conditioner works even in your absence and cools the room.
Good pools. The pools are clean. On the territory of the hotel complex you can use any swimming pool, any bar at
swimming pool and terrace bar. It doesn't matter which of the three hotels you're from. The people, as usual, try to take sunbeds early in the morning and
pools and terraces. It is very important to take a place on the terrace, since the beach near the hotel is a narrow strip of sand, on which you also need to
position in advance. The people are stuffed and have to sunbathe with their faces to someone else's... e. The fact that it is very narrow can be tolerated, but
it is also dirty and in the two weeks that we were there, it was never cleaned. Until there was a storm, all right, but when there was a storm, then
it is clear that the sea was dirty, it carried mountains of algae, but since the beach is not cleaned, all this happiness lay and quietly decomposed.
The sea itself is generally clean and warm, the bottom is sandy and immediately not very deep, which again is a plus for families with children.
The food at the hotel is decent, the choice of dishes is worthy of respect. Everything is replenished quickly. The fruits were different, despite the fact that it was June in the yard. Watermelons, melons, pineapples, apples, peaches, pears, cherries. . . My grandson celebrated his birthday there. From the hotel they make a gift in the form of a small chocolate cake and a postcard from the director of the hotel. If you need a bigger cake, then it's for a fee.
Twice there was a themed Bulgarian dinner. Dinner, of course, is ordinary, but the waiters are dressed in national clothes and are greeted at the entrance with a glass of brandy and bread with honey and spices. Rakia is enough only for the first, the rest receive only bread. We met something similar on vacation in Tunisia, only there, if something ended, they immediately brought more, so that there was enough for all vacationers. Bulgarians are stingy. The selection of drinks at the bar was a pleasant surprise. It turns out that Bulgaria even has its own whiskey and tequila, and pretty decent quality. Once a week there is live music in the bar, if you wish, you can dance. The only negative in the lobby bar is the old furniture. Inside the armchairs have sat out, on the terrace there are armchairs with broken legs. I recommend checking before landing.
Be sure to set aside a day and visit old Nessebar. Wander the narrow streets. The city is mesmerizing.
Of the excursions, we took only the national party and a trip to the dolphinarium in Varna.
Near the hotel, a 10-15 minute walk to the water park, in front of the entrance to the stop of a free minibus. Across the road to the local water park, on the side of the hotel to the water park in Sunny Beach.
Here is a short report on the holiday. If someone needs to know something in more detail, then he is ready to answer all questions.
Do not change money at the hotel, the exchange rate is very low. Two bus stops or 15 minutes walk in the new Nessebar there is a normal exchange office.
I wish you all good luck and have a great time!! !
The hotel is very pleased, especially in terms of its location. And the center is close, but quiet, like in paradise. Do you want unbridled fun - walk two hundred meters, and you are in the thick of things, tired of the noise? - and there is no problem, going out onto the balcony you will immerse yourself in introspection in complete silence, while in many hotels the noise of other vacationers prevents you from sleeping. In terms of food - I only had breakfast, nothing special, food as food. You just need to go down to the beach, which will take a couple of minutes, there is sand and cleanliness. Only the general public upsets. If the people are tiring - another 5 minutes walk to the right, and the beach with a shower, where it is noticeably quieter. Well, the sea, of course, cannot but rejoice.
In general, the impressions of the rest are not bad, but for 5 stars - such a beach? Small, both in width and in length, paid sun loungers, umbrellas and towels for 7 leva per person, having bought everything of their own (since they had a rest for three weeks - it turned out cheaper), they had to come to the beach very early to take a place there. At 10-00 - there is already nowhere for an apple to fall - in the best traditions of domestic resorts. The water seems to be clean, but only closer to Sol Nesseber Mare, scooters floated near our building and there was always some kind of foam in the water and a film, either from standing right on the shore of the eatery, or from scooters. The sand is not removed in principle, but they did not forget to quickly attach a cafe on the already tiny beach in a few days, where they sell drinks, ice cream and cocktails at a premium.
In short, if you are going beyond the SEA - you are not in this hotel.
Everything else - food, service and animation more or less liked, the food is not so varied, but everything that was cooked was delicious, there was always a choice, a lot of seasonal fruits.
The water park is very good - we spent the whole day there and did not notice how time flew by. A wonderful old city, but walking with a child is far away - 35-40 minutes, for a fee - by bus for 1 lev.
Finally, advice - take a room only with a sea view and a higher floor, because. view of the "park" - in fact, it is a view of the highway, along which regular buses travel, and cottages and apartments are being built on the other side of the road, and the lower floors "please" either with the smells of the kitchen, or screeching and screaming by the pool.
