Villa "Iskar" - for FAMILY holidays
Rested with a family (two adults and two children aged 4 and 9) in Kranevo, villa "Iskar". Two other families of friends were with us. 4 more adults and 3 children: 4.6 and 13 years old. Based on this, they chose. I didn't want a hostel (even a star one). We stopped at Villa Iskar. GUESSED! new cottages. there are only four of them, in each there are two, as it were, entrances. in each mansion there are four different rooms (a 4-bed apartment with a kitchenette, 2.3 and 4-bed rooms). We occupied half of the cottage (three rooms). Since the apartments were also ours, the small playground near the house was ours.
The charm was added by the fact that our four houses had TWO POOLS, and not tiny puddles, but normal pools with a paddling pool. To do swims - there are few places, but you can easily dive, play ball with a company.
When we settled, we were asked to use a certain pool (although they are both equal, and both are used daily), since half of our "village" was reserved for the whole summer by a Czech travel agency.
These pools are our salvation. The sea in Kranevo is not impressive (in 2005 we rested in Montenegro), walk for 30 minutes (slowly, with such a bunch of children) through the steppe area, where you can’t hide from the sun. So after dinner, no one even raised the question of going to the sea. But we and our children used the pool to the maximum.
We ate ourselves. Breakfast was prepared in the kitchen in the apartment (coffee, tea, sandwiches), lunch too (on the way from the sea we stocked up in shops in the center), we had dinner at the Central restaurant (about 15 minutes). The service in the restaurant is top notch. The quality of the food too (subjective opinion, I'm not a gourmet). But the fact that none of our company had any claims against the staff of the establishment is guaranteed. We were in Kranevo for 14 days. The last dinner the owner of the restaurant made gifts for both children (cocktails with fireworks) and adults (wine for each adult). This is despite the fact that we did not leave large sums there. an average dinner for our family (two adults and two children) cost 18-19 leva (10 euros). This is with beer, cocktails for children, salads. The families of our friends left about the same number.
The staff of our "village" sometimes lived at the "scoop", but requests to change, clean, make, were carried out without any "squeaks".
So, "Iskar" for a family holiday is highly recommended. If only the sea was interesting there.

In general, Kranevo leaves the impression of "Sovietness" with its gray buildings from the times of the Union, huge wastelands in the coastal zone.
