After 10 minutes, I went to the reception and politely asked for bracelets for children in order to drink some water, juice, etc. to which I was told that we all came up and they would put on bracelets for us))). The children and my wife went to explore the hotel, and I, in turn, hinted that it would not be bad if we were settled early (a hint of 10 euros worked a miracle !!!! , in the next 15 minutes we were already considering the views from the balcony of the triple suite on the 4th floor The room is wonderful, the view is just a fairy tale, you can see the entire coast and part of the resort, by the way, the room is large 45 square meters with a huge balcony, a bidet bath in the bathroom, a large marble wash basin. you just need to eat like people and not like pigs. Children were fed from the common table with no hint of disorder or poisoning, Food varied meat at least 4 dishes (boiled beef stew, pork, chicken or fried or boiled), 2-3 types of sausage, cheese with vegetables, all kinds of side dishes from simple to the most sophisticated of 5-6 components, a large selection of salads from Greek to meat salads with pasta instead of potatoes))), fresh vegetables, green olives with a stone / stuffed nye, black olives (a specific taste is apparently local), constantly fruits peaches, clemantines, apricots, grapefruits, oranges, watermelon and melon (by the way, we don’t eat watermelon at home - we were poisoned, but here we ate and even hints of indigestion)))). In general, the food is wonderful if, of course, you have a food culture and not eating everything in an unlimited amount))). I was very pleased with the beach - there was enough sun loungers for everyone (they didn’t run to borrow at 7 am) at 10 o’clock 1/3 is occupied, so you can always find a good place. The pool is clean of the entrances to the pool 5 pcs. so use och. even comfortable. The sea is divided into 2 parts, as if one part is warmer to the left of the pool, as a hot spring flows there with healing water enriched with hydrogen sulfide. the water in the sea is clear, clean even at a depth of more than 2.5-3 meters, by the way, the water is full of small fish. And finally, their bars within a radius of 100 meters 4 one of which is almost in the pool, one with non-stop alcohol, a sea of booze from wine to beer to cocktails for every taste.
P. S. A great place for a family vacation, out of all the positive things described, 30 percent, no time to write, the vacation is over, a lot of work!! ! I didn’t have time to describe the La Carte restaurants of which there are 4 for every taste, they are by appointment, a large green area with a playground and friendly animators. and many many more, so if you want to know more, go and see for yourself - have a good rest everyone !! !

The room was on the 8th floor with a side sea view, since the hotel is almost the last one on the coastline of the resort, the view was very beautiful. I can’t really say anything about entertainment, I didn’t notice, although there was some kind of animation in the evenings, but I just wasn’t interested. As for the food, it is perhaps a little monotonous, but quite edible, although the Bulgarian dishes did not impress me, it is spicy for my taste. In general, the resort, like the hotel, gives the impression of a place for a family vacation, I'm 22 and I hardly saw people of my age, except perhaps the staff. The country itself made a slightly depressing impression, went on excursions to Nessebar, Sozopol, Varna and the Aladzha Monastery. So they wanted to leave money for the development of infrastructure. As for the cost, at the end of August, a week of rest at the hotel cost about 35.000 rubles, according to the all-inclusive system. I will make a reservation that I went alone, so it turned out a little expensive. Plus, I spent about 15.000 on excursions, souvenirs and other little things. Would I go there again? Maybe. All the same, from my point of view, I had a good rest. But this is me, your impressions of the hotel directly depend on what you expect from it. Don't expect too much from Ruby.

After that, I talked with a neighbor in the room (fortunately it turned out to be our compatriot), who told me that two days ago, due to the flood, the rooms of his guests were relocated. A night in such a room after a delayed flight did not attract us at all. The wife went to fight. After the threat that the child and I would rather spend the night in the hall on sofas, the administrator began to call someone. After that, some civilized young man showed up and it turned out that through three doors there was a free room (wow.......) However, instead of three beds, there were two. We were promised to put the room in order and bring a third bed. We calmed down a bit (the time was already closer to midnight) and went to have dinner. Upon returning to the hotel, the following surprise awaited us: instead of the 3rd bed, there was a cot in the room (we used this for a long time in the country for drying onions). We no longer had the strength to swear, we wanted to sleep. The wife took the child to the toilet, saw a dirty, grease-stained toilet bowl. Help was nowhere to be found. I had to use my own wet wipes. The mood was spoiled. In the morning we met with TUI representative Carolina. She expressed her understanding and tried to help us with the issue of the bed, but the hotel employees began to assure us that such equipment was provided from the very beginning. True, we were offered at 13.00 to see another window number, which overlooked the roof of the second floor near the bar. We decided not to tempt fate anymore. I decided that I could endure a week on a cot (photos with protruding mattress springs are attached, so that I had to put a cover on to sleep normally). Now about nutrition. At first we were pleased with the seemingly plentiful choice. But day after day passed, and the set of dishes did not change. Food - some semi-finished products, vegetables and fruits, which were snapped up by vacationers. By the third day of our stay, both my wife and I began to have stomach problems (the consequences of which remained until our arrival in Moscow). Thank God that we strictly limited the child in food and she managed to avoid our problems. One interesting fact on the territory of the Grand Hotel Varna complex was five restaurants where you can sign up for dinner. On the morning of the second day, passing by the Dolphin Hotel, I saw a queue similar to the queue at the Lenin Mausoleum of the Soviet era. It turned out that people signed up for dinner (they got in line at 9.00, and the registration began at 10.00) During our stay, I once accidentally managed to sign up for the Albatros fish restaurant (all other days at 11-12. There were no more places), but I didn’t feel a difference in nutrition (a choice of three dishes of the same semi-finished products and, as a bonus, waiter service). Separately about cleaning. Bed linen was never changed for 7 days. The fact that the room was cleaned, we determined only by the empty urn. Small pluses: 1) The child was fine. In the Delfin-Marina hotel from TUI, there was a children's club "Tukan" with Russian animation. The animator girls did a good job with the children, and in the evenings they arranged a mini-disco for them. 2) During our weekly vacation (13-20.08. 2011). the weather was wonderful. 3) The sea is nearby. The water is quite clean and warm. Beach sand. Towels, sunbeds and umbrella + drinks on the beach, from 12.00 to 16.00 burger buffet. True, from 10.00 to 12.00 a place on the beach could only be found on the back rows of sun loungers. But we liked to swim more at 15.00-17.00, the beach is much calmer. 4) Thanks to Karolina for one good recommendation - the excursion "Magic springs of Marcianopolis", on which we visited the entertainment complex "Baryte". A very interesting place about 10 kilometers from Varna is an immersion in the national color of Bulgaria (folk crafts, life, national cuisine). This is where it was very interesting for us and the child !!!! ! Wonderful, natural food prepared according to national recipes!!!! ! I am a volleyball fan and would like to play on the beach. According to the animation program, volleyball started at 11.00 (you have to be such idiots to schedule a game in the sun in the heat of the day (+30 and above). We independently agreed with the peasants that we would additionally gather in the evening at 17.30 (a completely different matter) "Summary: my wife dreamed of returning home as soon as possible. There was an impression that Russians are treated as second-class people (especially in contrast to our April trip to Prague). I hope that what happened to us is not a pattern. But in the next few years we will we're unlikely to go.

There is one minus - there is no Russian-speaking staff, and in the city everyone speaks Russian without any problems. In general, when later I ended up in Turkey at a very vaunted and expensive resort of Marmaris, in a very vaunted hotel, I was shocked for the first hour, because he didn’t even lie next to Rubin. In the complex with the hotel "Rubin" were: "Swan", "Dolphin", "Dolphin-Marina" and five-star "Varna". All were located about a hundred meters from each other, so that it was possible to use the services of these hotels for free. Unlike other resorts, beach umbrellas, sunbeds, towels - everything is free. In the hotel "Varna" you can go to Italian, oriental, barbecue - restaurants for free (except for wine), you just need to sign up for dinner in advance before 14.00 at the hotel "Dolphin". "Rubin" liked the fact that all rooms overlook the sea, the rooms are clean, cleaned every day, towels are also changed every day, but bed linen was changed 2 times in 11 days. When you get to your room, check the toilet, sink and shower immediately. . My sink pipe and shower stall were leaking. The leak at the pipe was immediately eliminated (record at the reception), but the shower stall was never repaired. The extractor in the toilet and the air conditioner worked fine. It's good to go on excursions. I went to Balchik, Kaliakra - I liked it very much and to Evksinograd - too. Many thanks to the tour guide Violetta Georgievna Nikolova for unforgettable excursions and for Russian songs performed by her on the bus. If there is an opportunity, go with her (company "Venera"), you will not regret it. In general, I had a good rest, got a tan, took a lot of beautiful photos. But here's one thing I didn't like. And as always on the last day! The day before I looked at the departure time of the plane: everything coincided with the itinerary receipt: 20.00 pm. The next day I go from the beach, at 11.05 to rent a room and accidentally looked into the folder with information about the departure. And what do I see! The departure time was changed to 14.20, the bus will arrive at 12.00. Can you imagine what happened to me! It's good that I partially collected things from the evening. I had to look for and specify the departure date again. Although such an incident happened to me, I am very grateful to the tour. agent TUI VKO vg. Thanks to her, I had a good rest and brought a lot of impressions from Bulgaria. Bulgaria is the most peaceful country now: no floods, tsunamis, barricades, rallies and demonstrations. A large area, which includes several hotels, because. they are all combined into one complex. playgrounds, flowers, lawns, pines, junipers, arborvitae. the territory is green, it was very pleasant to walk

I’ll make a reservation right away - it’s not worth looking for impeccability, otherwise looking at compatriots who are saving on everything, incl. for "tea" to drivers and maids, lying on the beach, not even bothering to get up in order to take 2 steps and throw away a plastic glass, they throw it right there, and then talk about a dirty beach. The Germans did not even think to throw away the cigarette butt. The hotel is good, I recommend it. We had a great rest with the children. my kids are begging to go again. sitting in the elevator, you go down to the 1st floor - and go to the beach!!!!!! ! sun loungers by the pool are free, we lived on them, having taken 2 steps - you are by the sea, on the municipal beach. A beautiful country, friendly people, many excursions, there is something to see. the only downside is not always perfectly clean dishes. and so - everything is fine !!!!!!! ! Yes, many people complain about intestinal infections - people, look at what and how you eat, don't blame everything on the cooks. quality food! and E. coli are everywhere. take enterosgel, linex with you - and there will be no problems!
