The hotel was recommended by friends who had many vacations in Bulgaria and two of them in this resort. They said that this is the best place in Bulgaria.
The resort is called Duni Royal Resort and consists of 5 hotels, two four-star (Holliday Village and Pelikan) and three five-star Belleville, Marina Beach and Royal Marina. All visitors to the resort can use all restaurants and pools, except for the Royal Marina, which is the most expensive and whose visitors can use everything, and only visitors to the hotel itself can use their hotel.

There were six of us - two children and four adults (my wife and I and my parents). There is important information here, if it is difficult for you to walk (old age, legs, back, etc. ), in no case choose Holiday Village. Marina Beach is the best, followed by Belleville.

The fact is that the Holiday Village is located on a mountainous area, there are many steps. We asked to be placed as low as possible, because my father is 75 and has arthritis. As a result, we had to live not nearby, and at the same time, there were 70 steps from the restaurant to my father’s room, and 151 to ours.
In the heat, you know, it's hard for everyone. But our tour operator did not say that it could be so hard.

Walk to the sea for at least 10 minutes, and if you live at the far end of the Holiday Village, then all 15-20.
But on the other hand, on our territory there is a water park and an open concert hall where all the shows take place. That is, residents of the five-star Marina Beach and Royal Marina walked the same 10 minutes to us.

it was hard to walk, but we had a balcony overlooking the pine trees and most of them are in Holiday Village, which consists of separate one-three storey buildings right in the pine forest. Very nice.

The rooms are small and clean. The beds are old, not super comfortable but not bad either. Pulls on 3 stars. We were visiting in a room in Belleville, the rooms are the same size, the mattresses are the same. The furniture is a little newer and prettier. Otherwise, they do not pull at all for 5 stars.

Food: very varied, there are dishes that are the same every day, and there are daily dinners with different themes (Mediterranean, Bulgarian, meat, etc. ).
Few fish and almost no tasty, bad herring. But a lot of delicious meat dishes. There are few vegetables, but they are quite tasty. In general, in such a variety, each member of our family found their favorite dishes on the 4th day and ate them : ).

There are almost no fruits ...only watermelons, melons, apples and peaches, and bananas.

Wow, delicious baklava. The rest is not very sweet in my opinion, but the children liked something.

Service - I'm not a chauvinist, but you can't call it something other than "Bulgarian". Everyone is polite, no one is rude, but they do not try to help either. The most unpleasant thing we once encountered was the line for ice cream, our turn comes up, and the aunt takes and closes everything, saying that it is now 9:30 pm and that's it, they are closed. I am with the children, we have two or three more children behind us. Well, why not say in advance that do not borrow more and serve those who came up! She didn't linger for a second. Horror ...I wanted to complain, but decided not to spoil my mood.
More about service and quality. Goods in shops are not of very good quality. But Marina Beach is better than Belleville. I especially do not recommend buying swimming masks in Belleville, they live exactly one day and are torn, they do not return money. At Marina Beach, the silicone that the mask is made of turned out to be much better.

the most amazing thing about this resort is the evening animation and, in principle, an unexpectedly extraordinary team of animators who entertain during the day around the pool, and in the evening they put on fantastic shows. Unfortunately, photography is not allowed there, so there are only a few photos (from those shows where it was allowed to take pictures). They are professional at the level of a good circus, amazing quality and dance numbers, and a neon show (I would be willing to pay for it to get in), funny skits, all in all languages. Straight great!

Children's animation was not used.
It exists, but it didn’t make sense for us, we didn’t want to give up our children and were always with them.

There are two a la carte restaurants with service that you can use once a week. Bulgarian Mekhana and Italian (can't remember the name). Bulgarian with good wine (including dry, which is simply not available for free), tasty meat and good service. Italian with bad wine, terrible service and not edible food). I regret that we did not go to Mekhana a second time.

the general impression is that I would go to Greece or Italy, but it was much cheaper here and we did not regret that we went. If we decide to save money again, then we will only go here and most likely to Marina Beach.
