So, I will write briefly, but with an indication of the key points. 1. The hotel is located in Bansk, 2-3 hours by car from the airport (Sofia). 2. n is quite small, I think the numbers here are 20-30. 3. We got a mini-apartment room - with a stove, toaster, kettle. Also here, in addition to the bedroom with one small closet, there is a living room with a sofa, a couch, a table and a telecom from ancient times.

In principle, the living room and kitchen are in the same room. It's funny that the stove in these apartments does not function and, according to the administrator, it has only a decorative effect.
4. At the hotel, we took only breakfast (it starts at 7-30 and ends at 10).
5. The choice of food is small, but in principle, for those who do not eat at all in the morning, it will do for the accumulation of energy in the mountains.
6. Ski equipment, if you didn’t bring it with you, like we did, you can rent it here from the locals, or in the very center (where the ski zone is located). We took from the locals for 22 leva a day, if you take 6 days they give a 5% discount (for our hotel).
7. Also during the New Year holidays, there are a lot of people here, you have to stand in line for a ski pass (card for the lift). My boyfriend bought it for me - 150 lev came out in 3 days.
Lev calculation - 2 levs account for 1 euro.
8. On the lift itself, if you woke up at 7 local time (they ate and left at 8-00) - it will turn out to stand in line for about an hour and a half.
If you slept longer - left at 11-12 - there will be a queue for 2 hours.
9. There is a bus from the hotel, for people with their equipment - the cost is 1 leva per person, paid at the reception at the hotel, you are given a small piece of paper with a seal. When disembarking from the bus, it must be returned to the driver. It takes about 5-7 minutes to drive, if there is a traffic jam (and this happens! ) - 10 minutes.
10. A variety of slopes of 3 levels of difficulty - pleases.
But for me, as a beginner, one tenth of the entire list was enough.
11. At the top, on the slopes, there are places where you can eat (mulled wine, coffee, hot dogs, pizza) and go to the toilet. Just duck, these points are open until 16-00. Then they close.
12. The total operating time of the lifts is from 8-30 to 17-00.
13. Also, one more pleasant trifle - in Bansko you can buy a ski suit and equipment very inexpensively. Compared to prices in Moscow, 2 or even 3 times cheaper. We are talking about branded clothing and equipment*.
14. According to local establishments where you can eat, a very good place not far from our hotel (3-5 minutes towards the center) - Mehana near the Tanne hotel. Good service. They really had one joint - but in order to fix it, the waiter brought us a bottle of good champagne. A trifle, but nice.
You can eat from the belly in the amount of 100-150 lev (this is for four! ).
Large portions of salads (national salads Shepherd and Shopsky are popular - delicious! ), Meat (such as pork knuckle, at least for two). From alcohol, our men drank Rakia (plum, apricot, etc. ). For those who are not in the know - an anise-type drink, only with a very slight aftertaste of apricot or plum, etc.
15. The hotel has a free sauna - I personally have not been, but according to my friends - an ordinary sauna.
16. Tavern at the hotel - so-so. Salads, of course, you can eat, but from alcohol and snacks - the choice is small, if you want to sit in the evening for a sincere conversation.
17. There is a skating rink in the center of Bansko.
I don't know the price, but it's pretty nice. If you didn’t kill yourself on skis, I advise you to visit it. But personally, we did not dare, because fatigue took over us.
18. We changed money in Sofia - the rate for 1 euro is 1.95 lev. In Bansko, the exchange rate changes regularly, sometimes 1.85 then 1.95. Decide for yourself.
19. I also remembered that the water in the tank is heated in the room to wash. There is a switch on the wall before entering the shower - it is always on for heating. On the tank there is a scale showing the heating temperature, in principle, there is enough warm water for two adults. But special lovers of splashing (I am one of them) - at the end of the procedure, a contrast shower awaits.
20. It is advisable to take a walkie-talkie on the slope, otherwise you can get lost without communication if you are traveling in a large company. Alas, we did not take it - there was little time to look for this opportunity.
21. Recommendations to myself for the future, if I go to rest here again - choose a hotel closer to the ski lift, count on time without holidays, so that there are much fewer people here, take a walkie-talkie with you (required! ).
I wish you all a pleasant holiday! I sincerely hope that my review will be useful to you! Anna Z. V.
