We were at the hotel in July 2012. Let's just say we were unlucky with the weather, it was raining and quite strong and the entrance to the hotel was a solid lake. But in this case, it's not the hotel's fault, but the state administration, which does not clean the plums.
Hotel 4 *, urban. Everything matches, practically. To the hall, the rooms have no complaints. Everything is clean, the room has everything you need in the bedroom and in the bathroom. (everything is in the photo).
For those who cannot imagine their vacation without Wi-Fi, it works great throughout the entire hotel.
Food. The first two days breakfast was covered, although a buffet was indicated when booking the hotel. But since the fullness of the hotel was 6 rooms, and the buffet is provided only when 10 or more rooms are occupied, there was nothing left to do but to have breakfast. On our last morning, there was still a buffet, but alas, there was not much difference.
The location of the hotel. 10 minutes from the center. The metro station is right next to the hotel, the street is quiet. It made me laugh that all over Baku, and because of the weather I looked at it from the car window, they still remember Eurovision. I don't remember exactly when, in 2005, the signs that we hosted this miracle competition disappeared from the streets of Kyiv. But at the end of July, posters were hung all over Baku, flowerbeds and trees on the embankment were decorated with various paraphernalia, and besides, we even attended the Eurovision after party. It was funny, of course.
Baku is a very beautiful city and I would advise everyone to see it. The embankment is beautiful, the old city conveys the flavor of the east. The food is excellent, the prices are not high and the portions are huge.
