On one of my free days in Vienna, I decided to go for a walk. I overcame the huge distances that seemed on the map with ease, enjoying the beauty of architecture. Even the occasional drizzle didn't bother me.

The route can be viewed on the map.

The first stop was the Belvedere. http://blogs. turpravda. en/Anetka-gan/105476.html

Further, guided by the map, I went to the Catholic Church Karlskirche, which is located in the Resselpark park. The church is very beautiful and unusual. A lot of street cafes settled near it, armchairs were arranged, music sounded, cocktails were drunk. Saturday! : )

Further on my way I met the Vienna Secession (exhibition hall) and the Naschmarkt market: http://blogs. turpravda. en/Anetka-gan/106054.html

The Secession is located in a fairly bright building. It was built in 1898 at the expense of artists. The gilded bronze dome was nicknamed the "cabbage head". As for me, it looks more like a walnut!

After having a snack at the market, I stomped towards the Museum Quarter.

The first thing I saw was the pompous Museum of Art History with its sister Museum of Natural History. Just huge buildings with a cozy square and a monument to Maria Theresa between them. Museums not only keep art in themselves, but also on themselves. A huge number of sculptures adorn their facades. The Volkstheater is nearby. In general, there are no problems with theaters in Vienna. For every taste! =)

Further, according to the plan, a monument to the creation of the Republic of Austria and the building of the Austrian Parliament. In front of the Parliament there is a statue of Pallas Athena wearing a gilded helmet. The figures underlying the fountain represent the four rivers of the Austro-Hungarian Empire, while the women above represent the legislative and executive authorities.

Vienna City Hall is located on Friedrich Schmidt Square, it was Schmidt who was the architect of the city hall. There was some kind of event near the Town Hall, there were a lot of young people, as always drinks and snacks : )

The "highest" point of the route was the Votivkirche Temple in the park. Sigmund Freud. In 1997, a circle of trees was planted in the park to mark the 40th anniversary of the European Union, and in 2004, a granite table with ten chairs was added to the center of the circle to celebrate the accession of ten more countries to the EU.

Having enjoyed the absence of tourists, I started my way back through the Volksgarten park. Volksgarten translates to "people's park" and for good reason. There are many shops, free Wi-Fi, various events, roses bloom and ducks run : )

Having worked up at the Vienna Harvest Festival (http://blogs. turpravda. ru/Anetka-gan/105908.html) past the beauties of the Hofburg, I decided to finish my route.

Everything in Vienna is gramonic, even Starbucks fit into the environment. A stable was hidden in one of the buildings. And the supermarket does not violate this idyll.

Beautiful Vienna. . .
