Small route in Vienna
Vienna is a very beautiful city. Many times I have heard the phrase "in Vienna you can see everything in one day". Lies! Here you can walk for a week and find something interesting. I did not expect that I would like to walk along these quiet (yes they are there) streets.
The first, and most "pop" place is, of course, St. Stephen's Cathedral - a symbol of Vienna. It is located in the very center of the city, it is always crowded here, some actions are held, young people are walking. The cathedral can be seen from afar. Of course, it does not reach the Cologne House, but it is still very large and beautiful.
The cathedral has a very beautiful roof. The roof covering consists of 23.000 colored steel tiles. They laid out images of the national coat of arms and the coat of arms of the city of Vienna.
In the evening I got to the service, so I couldn’t enjoy the beauty of the inner department, but I listened to choral singing.
Walking around Vienna, you should definitely look at the roofs of houses, they are no less interesting! There are many different details here.
The Vienna State Opera left some warm memories. In the evenings, when there is a performance, an online broadcast of the performance is shown on the big screen. Chairs are placed in front of the screen, people come with food and drinks, sit down and watch the performance.
And the pink rabbit from Albertina migrated to the opera. It is simply impossible to ignore him.
On the way to the Burggarten park, we met the Goethe monument. The park is very beautiful and well maintained. There are many parks in Vienna and all of them beckon to take a walk in them. There are mothers with children, and yoga lovers, and musicians.
