Travel agency: Tango Travel Туроператор (Lviv) Service type: экскурсионный тур |
Good afternoon,
To begin with, I would like to say that this is far from my first trip abroad, including a bus tour, but for the first time I see the need to write a similar negative review.
Tour "Lapland - Santa lives here! or "Santa is Here!"
1. Wrong calculation of the tour time.
As a result, there were more on the road than indicated in the program, which also affected the behavior of the excursions.
Instead of the promised arrival in Tallinn (and so they told not only to me, but also to other participants of the tour), on the 31st around lunchtime we arrived already in the evening, when there was no time left for any excursion and people were gathering in a hurry to at least have time to celebrate the New Year ;
- we didn’t have time for a tour of Tallinn, free time in Helsinki, however, perhaps because of a call to the Lviv tourist office, when we simply couldn’t stand it anymore, we organized it on the way back,
2. Terrible hotel in Tallinn.
Instead of the promised "not very far from the center" we lived somewhere on the edge of the city km. 15 from the center. One iron and hair dryer for the whole hotel, but then someone had a shower, someone had a toilet, etc. As the leader of the group told us, the hotel is new. Well, such a tattered floor in the shower, where you didn’t even want to become, can only be in a new hotel.
3. Bus. Uneven heating, on the way back it broke down at the Ukrainian border, they were waiting for another one from Lviv to arrive.
4. Drivers. Although the group was very punctual, we very often had to wait for the drivers.
In Tallinn, when we were given only 30 minutes of free time on excursions, it was especially disappointing when the group waited for drivers in the cold for more than 30 minutes, although this time they would have been happy to walk around the city.
5. Group leader and ATTITUDE towards tourists.
It is thanks to this that the impression is largely formed of how the tour is organized and how even the company itself treats customers. The young man, who at first made a good impression, in fact turned out to be not at all a professional in his field. Impoliteness, rudeness towards even older people, even funny, but threats to drop off the bus and call the police if they started arguing with him about something - all this speaks of incompetence, bad manners and an elementary inability to work with clients.
To be fair, it's worth noting that:
- was a very nice hotel in Kuosamo, Lapland,
- a good guide in Talin and in Finland.
- I liked dog sledding, reindeer excursions and in general Lapland itself made an indelible impression.
Conclusion:
I advise you to visit this wonderful country, but still do it with the help of another travel agency, even if you pay a little more, where it will at least be clear what you paid money for and will not spoil the trip, and even if it is New Year's
