Air tour to Lapland with Tango Travel

flew on a New Year's tour with tour operator Tango Travel to Finland (tour: Lapland - Santa lives here! or "Santa is Here!").

Only positive emotions remained from the trip, and especially from the day at the zoo in the city of Ranua, where there was an opportunity to ride husky dogs and deer (slow, of course, they are! but the kids like it).

On New Year's Eve we went to Rovaniemi, to Santa's village + Santa park. There were a lot of tourists, we had to stand in line to Joulupukki for about 1.5 hours, given that we had a reservation for a group. Therefore, we have little time left to visit all the shops, souvenir shops in the village.

Then we were taken to Santa Park, where there was already enough time to buy souvenirs. The park itself is aimed at children, there are many rooms with entertainment for kids + at certain times master classes are held on making holiday cards, Christmas tree decorations ...

although the tour is declared as an air tour, we traveled more than 2000 km in Finland by bus. This must be taken into account when traveling with young children.

The main hotel according to the program we had was Pohjankievari near the city of Oulo, the hotel is normal, but there was no 24-hour reception, and all issues had to be resolved in the morning. in Helsinki - hotel Sokos, excellent hotel, excellent cuisine, super service.
