Good afternoon! I want to share with you an amazing story with Join Up. In May 2018, we booked the Marco Polo Hotel, Kemer at the beginning of October 2018. Since everyone’s age and interests are different, I chose the hotel for a long time and tediously, we settled on Marco Polo, DID NOT LOSE, an excellent hotel - I advise .... BUT STRONGLY LOST WITH THE TOUR OPERATOR…. TOUR OPERATOR – Join up. The adventure began in July. They changed the city of departure, from Odessa to Kyiv, they offered either to pay extra $500 for each room, that is, $1000 from the whole family, or a flight from Kyiv, minus 2%. We decided to go for minus 2%, although we understood that in any case (bus, train, refueling and car ride) would not cover the costs of 2%, but still paying $ 1000 extra was crushed by a toad ... .. now I understand that even if if they paid extra $1000 and flew from Odessa, they would still be disappointed in the work of Join Up. In general, we decided to go by train, guessed with a margin and chose a flight. A couple of days before departure, they announce to us that the departure will be 4 hours earlier, we hand over tickets, our travel agent advises not to buy tickets, but to go by car, because everything can change 100 more times .... In general, we decided to go by car, left in the night, the younger child did not close his eyes. We arrived at Zhuliany, the departure was on schedule, not only was the SKY UP airline not bad (they have more or less normal, fresh aircraft).

We arrive in Antalya, find Join Up, get on the bus with a guide and our detective begins .... The guide immediately says that in his layout, the hotel is not Marco Polo, but another hotel, and we are being taken there, we begin to resent, we show vouchers in which the Marco Polo hotel is indicated. The guide says that he knows nothing, there is a representative in the hotel, supposedly with him and you will solve your problems. Well, in general, in addition to our family of 5 people, another family of 4 people, and 2 families of 4 people each, do not even get to their 5 star hotels, they just throw us like dogs into the so-called also 5, and put us before the fact that we we will live here. The hotel is called Avantgarde Hotel Comfort 5 *. We go into the lobby of the hotel and understand that it is even 4 *, and a maximum of 3 *. Skinned sofas, walls, dirt, smells of mold. We find a representative of Join Up, and he begins to tell us that Marco Polo terminated the contract with Join Up a month ago and we will not be able to move in there. We start to panic, calls to travel agents through whom they took vouchers, children cry, some fall asleep in the lobby, we are all already dirty, hungry, exhausted, thoughts about returning money and leaving home begin to appear. Thank God that I have a travel agent, my friend, whom I have known for a hundred years, and he tells me that I urgently need to call a Join Up representative from Antalya, and at the same time call the police. At the reception of this "amazing" hotel, they refuse to recruit both the Join Up representative and the police. There is almost a fight, they give to call the representative of Join Up. We waited for him for 2 hours, the children were yelling, some fell asleep. During this time, we get acquainted with the Avantgarde Hotel Comfort 5 * and understand that this is a complete mess. People living there begin to tell that the rooms are completely dead, there is practically no food, there is no playground, booze appears and disappears every other day, the staff does not listen to anyone, is rude, there is no cleaning in the rooms, there are no ordinary towels, you can knock them out only for money, with drinking water is also a problem. We thought of it and called Marco Polo directly, they tell us that everything is in order, our rooms are reserved for our last names and they are waiting for us, but the only condition is that a representative of Join Up should bring us to the hotel. A representative of Join Up arrives and again blah, blah, blah. A brawl begins with screams, obscenities, tantrums, and so on. In general, thanks to the fact that we did not give up and did not agree to stay at Avantgarde Hotel Comfort 5 * for at least a couple of days, not to put on their bracelets, and due to the efforts of our travel agent, who went to Join Up Odessa and also made a scandal, we taken to Marco Polo after 5 hours.

So my advice to you is that if you find yourself in this situation, do the following:

1. Call a representative of the tour operator

2. Call the police

3. Call your travel agent

4. Do not agree and in any case do not wear a bracelet, the hotel in which you were brought

5. Stand your ground, don't give up

6. Call the hotel directly and find out about your reservation
