The claim does not concern the staff selling the tours, but the host party, which is a partner of Join Up.
I will not crucify, but all the guides, without exception, are scammers and deceivers. About 70-90% of what they say about Egypt and their tours is a lie.
In my case, instead of the provided bathyscaphe, we were taken for a ride in a boat with a transparent bottom. Instead of a 15-minute parachute flight, I got about 2-3 minutes of pleasure. Everything is done quickly and economically.
On a sightseeing tour, the guide rubs the game that you can buy medicines only in the stores where they carry, because others will be thrown away at the airport. Oils will also be poured out if they do not have a certificate, and you have a check. Of course, no one believed it, but at the airport everything was fine. And in general, the whole sightseeing tour, as you might guess, is delivery to expensive shops, from which the tour operator collects interest.
Guides on transfers try to sell you some ointments and other nonsense, supposedly being cheaper than in pharmacies.
The only thing I'm thankful for was that we were taken on terrible planes and broken buses to the promised hotel.
