It was only a week of vacation + 2 days off. We decided to buy a tour to Egypt.
Now I would not repeat the mistakes and would buy any other hotel, but definitely from a different operator.
We bought a tour on Friday at lunchtime, a scheduled departure at night from Saturday to Sunday, i.e. tomorrow's night.
On Saturday afternoon it turns out that the flight is rescheduled from night to Sunday lunch - minus one day to rest! Then we change the flight, the next flight is postponed again and again with the final departure date 25 hours later than the original one (we bought the tour the day before departure!). We flew out of another city! Well, at least they didn’t become attached to trains, but planned to go to the airport by car.
As a result, the flight was delayed for another two or three hours (I don’t remember exactly) - fortunately, they registered at the airport and were already waiting in the duty free zone.
The beginning of the vacation - one lost day, a lot of lost nerves and a complete lack of mood, incl. in children.
Arrival, meeting - no questions asked. The hotel is super.
But it's time to take off...
When selling the tour there was a departure at 18 something. The day before departure, they reported that at 04 am, i.e. one more day off! Yes, I had nothing at all!
Departure of the bus at 00.30. By this time we arrive at the reception desk, wake up the children and what do I see ... but I don’t see anything. Nobody, no information. Two families left the hotel - couldn't the guide call everyone or at least write in a viber about adjusting plans! There is a complete misunderstanding on the joinup website for the flight. We are again changing the flight - fortunately, I thought of checking it myself by the number of the voucher. The guide does not answer the phone - night after all. Later I found another phone of another guide - this one answered. He said that due to the flight delay, the bus would be two hours late! I have a small child hanging in my arms, and it is difficult for them to notify two families to wait in the rooms at night for another two hours !!! The number is already sold! Thanks to the hotel staff - they returned the key without any problems and sent them to sleep before the bus arrived. As a result, the bus arrived three hours later than planned. Due to the lack of information, I had to stay up all night and sit at the reception waiting for the bus - where to look for it later ?!
One more news: instead of Boryspil, the plane flies to Zhuliany! I have a car in Borispol!!! I came with my family from another city!!! And why not to Lvov or Odessa?
As a result of the rest - two wasted days, a complete lack of mood at the beginning and at the end of the holiday, a lot of wasted nerves. Yes, and I had to drive home after a night without sleep.
Yes, to complete the picture, we got on a plane flying to Zhuliany, but the pilot had his own opinion on this matter (a new flight map arrived) and the plane flew to Boryspil! This, of course, was a surprise for all the passengers on the plane, many of whom, judging by the reaction, had already driven drivers / friends / taxi drivers from Boryspil to Zhuliany and back several times. We were probably the only ones who met this news positively.
