Good afternoon everyone, although this week is not very kind for me and my family (.

I want to share an unpleasant story that I had with the JoinUp tour operator. From Friday last week, I began to select a tour for my family for the New Year holidays, to take the children during the holidays to the Carpathians. I picked up a tour for myself, gave a request to the agency, they determined all the conditions for me, and on Monday we already booked this tour and paid 50% of the cost. The travel agent issued a contract, a check and most importantly!!!! Booking sheet in hand.

We were looking forward to the holidays. And then, after 2 days, I was informed that there were no places for this boarding house for our dates. We couldn't move them, because our daughter had to go to school. They treated me with understanding and in the evening I found myself a completely different tour. The travel agent determined the amount for the dates I was interested in, and indicated that a 100% prepayment is needed for the reservation, since prices for the holidays should change. We immediately transferred money to him on the specified card.

Looks like they're out of breath, but no! An hour later, I again receive a message that the prices have changed and you have another 8000 UAH. I was shocked.

There was simply no way to remain silent. I wrote to the main office, given that I have an agreement and a booking sheet for the tour, which clearly states that if all these documents are available, if the price changes, then the tour operator is obliged to personally reimburse the difference.

As it turned out, what was the point, the travel agent took the money and processed all the documents. Not having received confirmation of the hotel reservation at the price specified in the contract.

But the same contract states that if the travel agent has drawn up a contract without an acceptor (i.e. confirmation of the reservation), then this is his personal initiative.

A good replacement for the tour for the money, given that we were 4 people (2 adults and 2 children 3 and 6 years old) on the eve of the holidays they could not offer me, and they didn’t really want to. If you want, choose for yourself, they wrote.

As a result, we are most likely not going anywhere, we lost the amount of one train ticket to the Carpathians due to an urgent payment, which is why we transferred money from a credit card. Loss of time within 5 days and nerves!!!!!!

The quality control center of this Tour Operator answered me that:

the tour operator has fulfilled all its obligations.

Unfortunately, there are no grounds for monetary compensation.”

Although the contract is clearly spelled out and I even quoted them the clauses of their own contract.

I'm in sadness))))))
