I didn't find any reviews about excursions purchased in hotels from joinap guides together with Saninternational, so I decided to write here. Already at the Grand Hotel in Sharm (Hadaba district), we were assigned a guide Ahmed: so smiling, speaking Russian well, with all sorts of jokes and jokes. Even liked it. Excursions are simply imposed, you will never wait until the end of the whole truth from the guides - they lie, so the advice is to follow him and bother him to tell and show everything. We blew our trust and are very sorry. The excursion is called “Moiseev Mountain”, but they only talk about the monastery of St. Catherine, and that you have to climb the Moiseev Mountain AND descend 7.5 kilometers, and at night, among the Bedouins and stinky camels, who are constantly offered to help, no one to you won't tell. Yes, the steps that the guide spoke of are not in sight. Tractor torn road uphill with crumbling stones, in the dark, with flashlights, with crowds of other tourists who step on their heels. If you are a deeply religious person and are ready to endure hardships, then this is another matter, but we just wanted to see the monastery, but it turns out you can only see it after rising and descending early in the morning. After a couple of kilometers, I became ill, and they offered me to stay at the Bedouin parking lot, it’s good that my son went with me. No honey. Help, no support, it’s dog cold in the gorge at night, we decided to go down ourselves, hoping to sit in a cafe, but the cafes are all closed for the night, the police even regretted us with words. The toilet is closed, in general, from 3 a.m. we froze until 8-00 in the morning, we didn’t feel ourselves. A Coptic Christian, the owner of a small shop, who came to work in the morning, saved us with hot tea. He offered hot tea and sweets absolutely free, in a Christian way. His name is Samuel, God bless him. The guide, having returned with the group, did not even ask how we survived the night in this terrible cold. The guide's name is Adam. So they just gave 80 dollars, spoiled their mood on the last day of the tour, it would be better if they were sitting in a hotel. I think the company just doesn't care.. It's a shame, you're hoping for protection and participation in a foreign country, and for your own money. Conclusion: do not believe the Egyptian guides, they all lie and be very careful about the choice of excursions.
