SUMMER in GREECE: sea, gods and salad!

I really enjoyed the tour. I recommend it.

I will describe everything in detail.

Payments, visas, shipping.

There are no questions at all: I fulfilled the conditions and received documents with visas from the travel agency.

We went there on a very good bus with good ventilation and comfortable chairs with tables, back a little worse, but also very good. The drivers drove according to the rules, they didn’t drive at all, although sometimes they wanted to - the roads outside of Ukraine are not very bad ... But on the other hand, there was confidence that you would get there without "adventure". In Ukraine, the road is very bad (Rivne-Border), whoever can - take railway tickets to Chernivtsi and back.

Accompanying.

There are no complaints. Well done. I received answers to all questions. My recommendations are more real stories along the way - through cities, villages, mountains, etc. It's useful, interesting, and easier to ride.

In principle, there are no complaints, but I would recommend making stops in more convenient places.

Brasov and the castles of Romania.

I really liked the town of Brasov and the tour too, I would like to extend it for another 1-2 hours ...

The hotel for an overnight stay is simply excellent and the breakfast is delicious ... And since the hotel is in the center, then walk as much as you want!

The castles really impressed me and I liked them very much, especially the royal one fascinates, it’s a pity you can’t take pictures there ... You need to watch them.

Sofia, Bulgaria.

On the way to Greece there is only an overnight stay, back with a tour.

The hotel is good, only their breakfast is quite weak, but it's normal. A tour of Sofia is informative, but fast. We spent 4 hours on it, and it flew by in 5 minutes. Although, as I understand it, we saw all the sights of the city center. The tour guide was good, unfortunately I don't remember the name.

We stayed at the Diaz Hotel. I liked everything about it: location, food, cleaning, service. They treat you like a relative they haven't seen for a long time.

Breakfasts there are ordinary - a buffet, we ate as much as we could, and dinners !!! After dinner, I didn’t want to have breakfast - the sizes are double.

And all the questions at the hotel were solved with a bang, they will help in any situation. The hostess and her children (grandchildren) are very friendly and positive towards each of the guests.

More pluses: close to the sea (30 meters), close to all shops, good food in a restaurant, all entertainment is very close, near a beautiful church and piers with yachts.

Maybe someone didn’t really like the live music playing every day in the restaurant, but I was crazy about it ... And I had a view of the sea, albeit a side one.

In general, the hotel put 5!

BUT! There are NO discos in this town, and you don't need to...

If you want to dance or hang out cool - go to the next one, it will work out there. And in Platamonas it's so good.

Excursions.

We only went to the island of Skiathos.

It was worth it: the beach with shining sand, the town itself like from a fairy tale, a walk on the sea, dancing Greeks on the ship and pouring alcohol during the move.

Cons: the Russian-speaking guide is uninformative, compared to the Polish-speaking one, and boring while riding the bus, although there were no questions for him in the city itself: he briefly, clearly and sufficiently told the story, etc.

I would very much like to wander there longer ... it is very beautiful and pleasant there.

I will not describe other excursions - I have not been and have not taken them.

Rent a Car.

We took a car (helped in the hotel) and went to Meteora, Olympus, the Monastery on Olympus, Old Panteleimon, Letochoro, Proskovia temple in 1 day. Saved on excursions for 30 euros per person and we really liked it.

For those who want to go on this tour, I recommend:

1. Have pillows and bedspreads on the bus - it will be more convenient.

2. Do not drink beer on the bus - it will be hard to wait for stops, drink wine!

3. Take coral shoes with you - prickly hedgehogs or nuts are possible on the rocks, you can get hurt. Although when swimming near the shore and at depth, there will be no such problems.

4. Bring a pack of water from Kyiv per person on the bus. Drivers do not resist, and water at gas stations is expensive ...

5. In Greece, take water from the tap into empty bottles - it is drinkable.

6. In the supermarkets of Platamonos, you can find inexpensive fruits, food, alcohol, etc.

7. Walk, there is something to see - for example, the Platamonos fortress (open until 15.00).

8. Be nice to the Greeks, they love it and you will be rewarded with free souvenirs, desserts and groceries.

Like everything.

Go on a tour, you will like it and you will not regret it!
