We went to St. Petersburg for the New Year from December 30 to January 5, 2012. City - just no words! You have to live there to see everything, such a huge amount of spectacle!! Not enough time to go around everything. Tsarskoye Selo was very impressive! It feels like EUROPE!! For such money (2500 UAH) - you even wonder how such an excursion is possible. Actually about the company Selena-tour.
Pros: 1) Hotel 4 stars "Moscow" - super!!! - living conditions, breakfast, clean and tidy. There were no delays in processing. Everyone was settled.
2) excursions from the local guide Marina - super!!! She knows so much that even write books! Everything will show and tell.
3) everything was on time, there were no delays in the cafe, although dinners were sometimes not very satisfying.
4) fast passage of customs, all excursions, did not stand in line.
Cons: 1) when we arrived in St. Petersburg, the windows were dirty, it was not very pleasant to shoot on camera, but the next day the bus was washed.
2) there is not enough hot water in the bus - in 12 hours they gave 50 grams of tea ... It was impossible to buy anything on the territory of Belarus - there were no "bunnies". and I wanted something warm.
3) the Neoplan bus was not very comfortable - so-so for a C grade, some armrests did not work, the air conditioner was rather weak, it was cold for the passengers in the back, the DVD player was not childishly buggy.
4) the last stop on the territory of Russia was shocking in the evening - we stopped in the toilet - it was not lit, not equipped with anything at all - so there are 4 walls and a hole in the middle of the field, someone cursed a lot, and when almost everyone "went down" - they saw a gas station 50 meters away which had a very good and free toilet = one wonders why one couldn't say about it!!! Or was the forwarder thinking it was not clear what? Moreover, half of all such stops were in such "toilets".
1) Think about people who want European toilets that are at the gas station, not in the field...
2) Either give more tea in the cabin (having bought an auto-kettle), or not give it at all .... although you always want to drink.
3) change the bus for a high-quality, new, good one, such as Merce (the difference in price is a couple of hundred hryvnias - but everyone will be delighted), since it is the transfer that is the weak point on this trip.
4) Clearly and specifically tell passengers when and where the stops will be.
I would recommend this tour company to everyone. The listed shortcomings can be ignored (in such situations, ask the guide to stop where it is supposed to, and not in the middle of the field), since everything else is on top!
