Travel agency: Селена-тур (Kyiv) Service type: экскурсионный тур |
The trip was from 06.09.13-27.09.13
I went with Selena for the first time, but chose not a travel agency, but a program. I was interested in the sea (from 7 days) excursions, and also that it was not expensive. All this I found only at Selena-Tour. Selena did a great job on this tour. The site also posted information about the possibility of extending the stay in Greece. I didn’t apply for an extension right away, but as soon as I arrived in Greece, I realized that I wanted to stay longer, of course, they didn’t immediately answer me, because. I traveled alone and I needed accommodation, and as I understand it, the groups were already formed, well, in general, after a few days of negotiations, we agreed. So in Greece I was not 7, but 14 days.
Now briefly on the rest. Everything was great, I'm very satisfied. I will not write about Romania and Bulgaria, this is enough in the reviews, I liked everything. I will write a little about Greece, I did not expect such a warm sea in September. I was just delighted. The end of the season, there are few vacationers, no one interferes on the beach, there is no debilitating heat, and in addition to everything, for those who love shopping, huge discounts and sales.
The first 7 days I was in Janulis. The hotel is just wonderful. I really liked the owner Katerina, she just perfectly organized everything in the hotel. She was everywhere: in the kitchen, in the rooms, and even on the beach. The staff is trained, prepared and as a result performed well. In general, everything for vacationers. The hotel has a huge and cozy hall, and at the reception there is a Russian-speaking Greek girl on the territory of the pool, in which I have never swum (and why when there is a warm and clear sea nearby). The rooms are clean, they cleaned and changed linen every day, although the smell of bleach was not very pleasant, but it was clean. And what kind of breakfasts were in Janulis, just super, all kinds of cuts. omelettes, olives (where can I go without them), vegetables, fruits, simply amazing yogurt and unsurpassed jam (apricot, peach, fig, etc.), honey (I have never eaten such delicious honey), sweets, and also very tasty coffee . The delivery was also very good. Dinners were in a nearby tavern, the portions are very huge and there are always french fries (sorry, every evening there are french fries, it's kapets), I thought I would gain a couple of three kilograms
after these dinners. Cons: because the hotel is new, the trees planted are still small and therefore not very green, behind the hotel you can say the steppe, and shops, markets are far away, a few kilometers. But it is quiet and calm. Who is a minus, and who is a plus, for example, you can run in the morning and no one will bother you. Plus, there are no ATMs anywhere. You need to go to Paralia and it’s hard there, but you can find a couple in the whole village. In general, you need to take only cash, I didn’t expect that this could be a problem, after all, Europe and the resort area.
The next 7 days I was in Agira. This time I took only breakfasts, because. I ate French fries for a long time. By the way, my surcharge for extending the rest was 190 euros, which I brought to the agency upon arrival. Agira surprised me. A huge room with a kitchenette and all the necessary utensils (although there is no frying pan, I think it was designed so that they would not smoke), a large balcony with a clothes dryer, I did not expect this from the apartments. Tiles, plumbing, furniture, everything is new, clean, in general, I was pleasantly surprised. I was especially happy with the Turk for brewing coffee, you won’t have to pay 2.5 or 3 euros for a cup of coffee (I drink it 3-4 cups a day)
Everything was nearby (for example, a bakery right on the ground floor), shops, stalls, all kinds of taverns, markets. The breakfasts were really not in Agira (it was necessary to go far), and besides, they were much more modest than in Janulis, and the coffee was disgusting. Agira has almost no territory of its own, but the place itself is just wonderful, there are places to walk, paths, all sorts of alleys, oranges, lemons, pomegranates, olives and various other fruits (I don’t know what they are called) along the roads. One pleasure to walk
In general, I liked Agira more. True, there were no ATMs here either, you could take a sightseeing tram and drive to Platamonas, there are several not far from the Dias Hotel. By the way, I was visiting our people in Diaz, everything is fine, but the rooms are tiny, the balconies are very tiny, but there are pluses a playground for children, for example. Well, let the one who was there write everything himself. In general, after Diaz, I liked Agira even more. Well, of course, to each his own.
Excursions: visited Meteora and Mount Olympus. I recommend both. Elena accompanied us to Meteora from the host of EviTours, she told everything wonderfully. The meteors impressed me, you have to see it with your own eyes. Marina accompanied us to Olympus, there were almost no excursions for Russian speakers, it was just a trip and independent walking up the mountain and to the market. I was upset by Marina's attitude. It's very beautiful there, an old village, everything is clean and well maintained, all the streets are paved with paving stones interspersed with marble (right on the sidewalk), it's worth going to see, but with another attendant. In the market you could buy olives, oil, fruits, vegetables, local sweets, honey and much more. This is a wandering market, it is on different days in different areas. By the way, he is in Nei Pori on Tuesdays or Wednesdays (I don’t remember exactly).
Well, in short everything. Rest I recommend to everyone.
And I also want to especially note the accompanying Tatyana, she simply struck me with her goodwill, disposition to people, she also struck me with her knowledge of history, she told everything very interestingly, and not from a sheet. Overall, on a scale of 1 to 10, I would give it a 20.
I hope my review did not offend anyone and I really want to help decide on the trip.
