SUMMER in GREECE: sea, gods and salad!
my opinion is 50/50
+ very good hotels in Romania (generally, it was 2-storey), and Bulgaria (mansandra, you open the window and there is a sculpture sitting there) and in Greece (Agira) for such a price I expected the worst;
+ Impressed by Peles Castle and guide Marin))
+ clean transparent sea in Greece and a good hotel and next to the sea
we were driven by Vanya, who was hardly in Greece further than the Janulis hotel, which played a role, did not set the mood, could not explain where to go, did not tell that we were passing, read some facts from a sheet
(Julya took us and this is a plus, after her stories it seemed that we were deprived of information, groovy and cool.
Julia tried to compensate us, but some things should be told before the trip, not after it.
- somewhere all the time in a hurry, there is no time for souvenirs from Bulgaria and Romania.
- we still didn’t understand where in Agira you can additionally order breakfast and dinner for 10 euros, Nastya (Selena-tour) said that they would tell us on the spot, Vika (the host said that she was not aware of this issue at all), if honestly it was too lazy to get into Skype and sort things out with Nastya, there was my own oatmeal for breakfast, and for dinner you can go to a tavern (but of course it's more expensive than 10 euros), although if you order food, then 80% will give you something else to drink and serve ice cream.
- Victoria is the host, she is more of an organizer and escort, but not a guide and guide (she can read from a piece of paper and count the number of people). If you go somewhere with her on an excursion, you will receive scanty information, this is not Marin for you.
Excursions:
Meteora - liked it, unusual and impressive, worth a trip. (from the wiki 5% of the information possible)
Olympus - it’s probably interesting to go there, but not with Vika, the Polish guide gave out 2 times more information (he told about all 14 Gods, Vika kept silent about this)
Greek evening - fun, but not worth 25 euros (well, honestly)
Athens - we had a Polish guide who knew Russian, but did not communicate with us in Russian, because he was not paid extra for this, again, this is our host, is it really impossible to somehow agree with him, 11 people from the group are Russian-speaking Couldn't this issue have been resolved? I do not think that all 50 euros (the cost of the tour) were given to the Greek Pole, well, you can’t make money on everything, think about tourists !!! and even if so, then you need to somehow ask him to repeat at least a couple of words about each object in Russian, let him work out !!!
in Athens, we were left without things and panamas, and sun cream, because we misunderstood our guide.
It's probably worth the trip, just think about what to do yourself 3 hours of free time.
Is this tour worth it?
You are unlikely to find it cheaper, the Janus hotel is nature like in Kirillovka, Zatoka (although they say that they had a good rest there), I just love the sea and mountains and the plain does not suit me, Diaz is noisy and cool.
Agira is his own boss, we paid 300 euros for the tour and spent about 100 euros on food, if mainly seafood for dinner, dorado portion 8 euros, soup with mussels 6 euros. ice cream 2 euros. the whole promenade is full of taverns and cafes, but there are no discos
