From May 1 to May 10, my husband and I went on the "Italian Fairy Tale" tour. Although our departure began a little nervously (they found out about open visas only at the railway station), but then we realized that, apart from the consulate, neither the Guide company nor the tour operator were to blame. All the girls steadfastly withstood our nerves, reassured us and promised compensation.
Now for the tour:
1- Accompanying guide Aleksey - we were just lucky with him, we kissed goodbye! A wonderful person, thanks to the "Guide" for accompanying us! He told me interestingly, he was never nervous (after all, there are 44 of us and we are all different), he practically took into account the wishes of all tourists, if we evaluate it, it’s a solid ten.
2- bus and drivers - score five (on a ten-point basis) and then thanks to the second driver. An ancient bus and a harmful owner-driver, I won’t write anymore, otherwise I’ll disperse a lot.
3 hotels are on average normal. There were also poor ones with a meager breakfast, there were also excellent ones (we didn’t try all the food from the buffet, it didn’t fit). The most memorable in Savona (Idea4 *) and near Venice. Under Rome, breakfast was practically non-existent. It happened, of course, that we didn’t like the hotel, but when we hung out with the company until late at night, it didn’t matter what kind of hotel it was, we had fun!
4- the program of the tour is a solid ten! It seemed to us that you couldn’t make it better. Very interesting, good guides, there was free time (although I always wanted it even more). Beautiful cities, excellent additional excursions! Rome impressed me the most, I wanted to spend at least one more day in it. It was not particularly difficult, and it even turned out to be good that there was one night crossing (it would be a pity to spend a day on moving).
RESULT: we advise everyone! Thanks to everyone who organized and accompanied this tour! Hello to all our fellow travelers (alco-tour)!
