Guys, this is a failure! For such an organization of the tour, even an assessment is impossible.
We went last Thursday to the Sorochinskaya Fair.
The guide rushed about uncertainly with shifty eyes, and, apparently, just did not really understand what she was doing here. It took us a long time to figure out which bus was ours. The bus itself is just a nightmare: torture flies, seats fall apart, the microphone flickers. Latecomers were waited several times along the route, people got angry and scandalized, and the guide simply bulged her eyes. She is not able to solve elementary organizational issues and reassure people (which, in fact, is the work of a guide). Fortunately, apart from me, there was no one else with a historical education on the bus, so from the delusional and outdated story of the guide, only my hair stood on end. I was able to enjoy a real professional guide only in the Gogol Museum. But the joy, of course, overshadowed our "guide", who constantly interrupted the colleague's story with organizational issues.
So, my complaints are over, and the suggestions begin:
- first send the guide to the training of personal growth.
- at KhNU and KhSAC they conduct luxurious refresher courses for guides (I can help).
- HUGE REQUEST: teach the guide not to express his explicit pro-Russian position during the tour.
- a full bus wash costs only 370 UAH. This is not much considering that 42% of modern people are allergic to dust.
