At the end of August I bought a trip to the Maldives in Mansan. Friends recommended the Bandos Island hotel, there seems to be good rooms and a great coral reef. I turned to Manzana with a ready-made request, it remains only to choose a flight. It's good that the managers of this company know the differences between different hotels and recommended another island with a better class for a little more money. But the wife insisted on Bandos, so we made a combined tour - 4 days on Bandos and 4 days on another atoll at the Dusit Thani hotel. The flight was chosen from four different options, agreed with the manager's proposal - they flew with Turkish Airlines via Istanbul + on the way back one day in Istanbul. Docking there took a couple of hours, From Male to Bandos it turned out to sail only 20 minutes by boat, you can see both Male and the airport. The hotel, as for me, turned out to be so-so. The two-story bungalow on the beach seemed cool, but the terribly noisy air conditioner did not let me sleep at night. The reef seems to be good, but the hotel itself is like a four in Turkey, a small area and a lot of people. so 4 days dragged on. Then we flew by local airlines (excellent, by the way) to another atoll, from where we were taken by boat to the Dusit Thani hotel. This is really the Maldives with a capital letter. A real tropical island: jungle (albeit well-groomed), various birds, lizards, many flying foxes, live coral right ten meters from the coast. In the mornings, you can watch sea turtles from the shore. Food in comparison with Bandos is also heaven and earth - for breakfast there is a large selection of different tropical fruits and fruits (there is more choice than in Thailand). There are Russian-speaking staff, a Russian diving instructor in love with the ocean. While scuba diving, they stroked a sea turtle right in the water - it didn’t bite :). On the way back there was a long connection in Istanbul (I think 20 hours). We arrived early in the morning and Turkish Airlines provided a free hotel with a transfer to the airport. Those. We had full daylight hours. We went to the center of Istanbul, walked around the Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia, through the old city, went to the Old Market. Over the past four years, Istanbul has become much more European, cleaner and seems to have become more beautiful.
In general, thanks to Mansana for the right advice, vivid impressions and positive emotions from the rest. In Ukraine, this is now so lacking.
