We bought a tour through another tour operator, who quickly arranged everything, made it possible to choose a convenient flight and said that in Montenegro our host company would be LjuboSvit. At first, everything was fine - we were met at the airport with a sign, taken by bus to the hotel and immediately warned that we should settle in, leave our things and immediately go to the meeting, which will be held by a guide announcing possible excursions.
My husband and I were very tired, so we decided to stay in the room and rest. In the evening we went down to a restaurant at the hotel, where we got acquainted in detail with possible excursions (all information remains in the folder and can be viewed at any time). The next day they wrote to the guide that they had chosen some offers and would like to know the prices and plan when to do it all. Our guide, Oleg, promptly arrived at the hotel, listened that we chose 7 options (usually, they choose 2-3 options, in his own words), said that he would organize everything and if we pay for everything at once, he would give us a 15% discount (although usually gives no more than 10%). My husband and I were immediately embarrassed and we said we would think about it.
On the same day, we walked around the city and along the beach, local travel agencies (and they are there almost at every turn) gave us their brochures, where prices were almost the same among themselves and lower than our "host" side by 30%, even taking into account surcharges for some entrance tickets, which are indicated in the brochures separately and are not included in the cost of the tour. It immediately became clear why the first meeting should be held immediately after arrival and motivated to pay for the package of excursions right away....
While we were discussing excursions with Oleg, the question arose about canceling dinner (which we paid in Kyiv), he said that this was solved, he would agree that we would be returned the money ...
Naturally, we ordered excursions from a local travel agency (we did not regret a bit). Although later, I heard how Oleg "processed" the following tourists, telling them that everything needs to be ordered only from him (excursions, car rental, scooters ...), since the local population is very cunning, they can deceive and no one can help you get your money back...
When I contacted him again with a question about canceling the last three dinners (firstly, we wanted to travel along the coast for the last three days and dine in different beautiful places, and secondly, honestly, it just didn’t taste good), at first he simply didn’t answer me , complete disregard .... When I wrote a message full of anger that I was very grateful to him for ruining my vacation, he answered me that, it turns out, he could help me with cancellation only if I book excursions - he also decided to apply blackmail to such a great welcome...
The restaurant told me that you can cancel dinners at any time with a refund if Oleg calls them (they agree, the reason is not important to them) ...
The day before departure, I wrote him a message again to find out information about the transfer and the flight, oddly enough, no one answered me again (I was online, I saw the message).
We turned to the hotel administrator with the same question, she said that he usually leaves information in a folder, but it wasn’t there either, the administrator called Oleg and he said that he did leave the information on some bulletin board and explained where, it turned out that the flight was postponed ....
and immediately after the call - I also received a response ....
