Travel agency: Ильтур (Kyiv) Service type: пакетный тур |
The second trip this summer to Bulgaria. From the first one, which was conducted by New Travel (Hot Tours agency, Kyiv), there were pleasant memories. So pulled on the second race. I took a ticket from the same agency, but from the tour operator IlTour. Over the next 13 days, I realized that operators are different. So in order.
Day one - the Kyiv-Sozopol bus was 1 hour late. The bus is dirty on the outside, the windows are dirty, inside is rubbish from previous tourists. Drivers have a homeless outfit, they do not understand Russian. There is no escort. At stops there is no information about the stop time. As a result, everyone walks until they don't want to - usually more than 30 minutes. Some stops were made at gas stations with a shared toilet for 2 cabins (this is with 90 passengers on the bus). I sat in the front row. When it rained, he used an umbrella to protect himself from streams of water; when the sun shone, he again used an umbrella, but this time from the sun, since there were no blinds.
Day two - after 34 hours of driving, we were taken to the Hera Hotel. At the reception, the Bulgarian host informed us that we were in the top ten tourists for which Il Tour did not transfer money. In response to requests from the host, IlTour managers report that there is no money. We were offered to pay for accommodation and meals and independently find out from IlTour where our money had gone. True, they promised to return the payment as soon as IlTour transfers the money.
Day three - the weather is fine, the hotel and the food are good - but we have no time for that - we sit in the hotel and call wherever we can about paying. The Bulgarian representative only shrugged, it was impossible to get through to IlTour. The main connection with Kiev was through our travel agent Lena from Burning Tours. She stirred up her management and repeatedly tried to reach out to the elusive managers of IlTour. Perhaps, thanks to her efforts, we were not forgotten in Kyiv. Low bow to you, Lena.
On the 4th day, we learn that IlTour gives a guarantee of money transfer within 15 days and we get back the payments already made. True, the Bulgarian side hardly believes that the payment will come, and we, of course, try not to annoy the eyes of the hotel administration, since we seem to live at their expense.
From the 5th to the 10th day we normally rested.
Eleventh day - the day of departure. The IlTour transfer should take us from the hotel to the bus in another city. There is no transfer at the agreed time, and there is no transfer even after 2 hours. We constantly call the representative of IlTour in Bulgaria. The phone is not answered. As it turned out later, the phones for inquiries on the voucher are no longer relevant. After three hours, a transfer picks us up and brings us to the bus. We pass to our seats - there are already people with tickets for the same seats. Drivers hardly understand us and say that all questions are for IlTour ... We sit in empty seats and all the way we expect that there will be a replanting of people who will ask to vacate a seat. It seems to have passed. But the trip was about the same as on the first day of the tour. Due to the lack of control, the stops sometimes dragged on for up to 1 hour. However, two tourists fell behind in Romania. They arrived in Kyiv 36 hours later at 23.45, when public transport was no longer working. I had to pay for a taxi.
The result - thanks to the "service" IlTour 4 days out of 11 were not only lost for rest, but also absorbed a lot of nerve cells. It remains to wish the same to the management of this office.
