I got a ticket to the Emirates quite unexpectedly, but it's nice). For the first time I was with the Coral company, I used to go to Turkey with Pegasus. In principle, the service and escort of tourists depends not so much on the company itself, but on the people working in it. Before the trip, I read various information, the reviews on the hotel were not very good . . I was even a little upset. There were many questions, many of them were resolved here, on this site - thanks to those who answered my questions and gave advice, even the correspondence was then by e-mail. Sharjah is the strictest emirate in the country, so I was afraid at the expense of clothes and evening outings . . I didn’t worry about alcohol - I can safely do without it. Yes, and the hotel outwardly somehow did not inspire confidence . . too ordinary, a 2-storey building with the letter "P" without balconies. But there was something that for me is one of the important criteria for a vacation - a private hotel sandy beach. The ticket was - only breakfasts, so I outlined the food in local cafes in advance.
The very beginning - took off from -20. On takeoff, we were kept for an extra hour, as they were processing the body of the aircraft with some kind of composition. Dubai met cloudy, but morally I wanted the sun. There were no long queues at the airport, the retina was scanned quickly - one queue went to several devices. There was a slight hitch with the meeting party . . we did not immediately determine who was waiting for us). We got to the hotel quickly (compared to transfers from Antalya to Turkey - 20 minutes and we are there). All visitors - a guest glass of juice *pleasant attention). They settled immediately in a room on the 1st floor No. 167. It took a long time to walk along the corridor, the room, in principle, was not bad, but when they opened the window, I was horrified - the view was on the wall. Just on the wall of the nearest building. We returned to the reception, recalling the knowledge of the English language, were indignant. I had to wait a bit and we were sent to the 2nd floor, the view is more decent). By the way, in the lobby of the 1st floor there is a hotel guide - it explains information much better, easier and more accessible than the guide from the Coral company, which we saw only once. They were cleaned every day (sometimes it seemed that even twice a day), bathroom accessories were added every day, towels were changed infrequently, and they looked kind of gray. The room had a bath, not just a shower. And even floor scales) Amuse your pride every morning))). Breakfast is quiet - a typical buffet, without any frills, but nutritious. You could take a couple of croissants with you (for a snack), although this was not allowed. If you wake up early, then there is no queue at the restaurant, you can easily choose seats. Restaurant - non-smoking - signs everywhere "No tuxedo". From the fruits were bananas, watermelon and melon. The pool is not bad, a couple of times a week I saw how it was cleaned in the morning, they even added something to the water. I plunged three times, the water is much warmer than the sea, there are free sunbeds, mattresses, umbrellas around the pool. Here, mostly tourists from Europe rested, and ours - on the beach.
Beach . . In principle, not bad and clean. Sunbeds, mattresses and umbrellas are also free (another big plus), you have to walk a bit - 20 meters from them to the edge of the sea. The entry into the sea is very gentle, there are no holes. From bathing in the sea in January I received complete pleasure. The water was initially, of course, cool, but then I did not want to leave it. The water temperature in the morning is very invigorating. It's not like in Turkey, when at the end of May at 7 in the morning I ran to the beach while everyone was sleeping. Here I also entered the sea at 8-9 o'clock and left, it is unrealistic to swim. brrr . . After 11 - the very thing, the water is already starting to warm up. And so - you can even lie on the beach all day and breathe the air . . beauty . .

We took trips to Dubai, Abu Dhabi, to the Indian Ocean with bottom fishing on a yacht (from crossing the border with Oman). In complete delight. But no one warned that it was cool in the evening (and I didn’t know)))), so in the evening it was windy at the Dancing Fountains show and on the observation deck on the 124th floor, I was cold. Special cities, a beautiful country, you just wonder how it has risen in a few decades from camel camps to such a developed level. I was also struck by the fact that the houses in the center are all high-rise, located at a distance of 3-5 meters from each other, there are absolutely no similar buildings, there are several circles of irrigation hoses around each palm tree, and this is in a country where drinking water is so expensive. You can tell a lot and for a long time, but still - it's better to see and enjoy this beauty. We were lucky - we were in the period of the Global Village fair, when representatives from more than 20 countries come to Dubailand and triple the show-fair-sale in their pavilions. African dances on stage are incendiary, you just feel the rhythm with your whole skin)). Pavilions Oman, Egypt, Thailand, Malaysia, Iran, Syria, etc. Before the trip, I read that tourists are not taken to this Fair, you have to travel on your own. But it turned out that from our hotel there on Fridays there is a bus for 80 dirhams. It is curious, but at this holiday we saw many absolutely sober men who walked, walked, talked, ate ice cream . . They were fine and without alcohol at all. You immediately remember our holidays, where a holiday is not a holiday without a stall with strong spirits for locals. *Of course, a different mentality and this and that . .
About nutrition. We did not arrange full-fledged lunches and dinners for ourselves, ordinary snacks in cafes. We can say that we saved a bit for excursions and souvenirs. Nothing, the diet is sometimes useful))) The hotel has a free sauna and a gym (in the morning - women's time, in the afternoon - for men). There is a Thai massage room - 100 dirhams for a massage.
We got into the action - we took 3 excursions, so the trip to the 4th (to the Emirates Mall) was free. Buses run from the hotel to malls (shops) in Sharjah and Dubai. Here is a nuance, you can easily leave, but here it is back . . On the hotel card with the bus schedule it is indicated - Whoever got on the bus first will go. I didn’t have time - on my own, that is, by taxi.
At the reception on the very first day they issued a Sharjah card and bus cards, on the day of arrival we went to the mall and exchanged dollars for dirhams. The course is the same everywhere - 3.66 dirkhans to 1 dollar. In small shops, the rate floats depending on the mood of the seller. Therefore, we simply changed in large stores.
On departure from Dubai, we experienced a little stress - for an hour the plane could not start the engine, people were whispering - due to overload. In fact, each of the departing had bales, bags, packages, etc. We looked unusual with our suitcase.
Generally. The hotel is much higher than the Turkish 4-ok (I was convinced). Rest you get exactly the one for which you are going (if you want to relax - you will rest, if you want to be capricious - you will find something to complain about). In a foreign country, one must take into account local traditions (we are guests). Knowledge of English is a must, at least at the basic school level (I was glad for myself that I can speak and understand, which means that I need to learn the language further).
