Private transfer: fast and convenient, no need to wait for other tourists (TPG in Ras Al Khaimah provides only a private transfer)
And now about the hotel.
When checking in, there was a Russian-speaking girl Christina at the reception, who gave a map of the hotel, told what and where to be and answered all our questions. Check-in had to wait about an hour, but this is not critical, given that we arrived at the hotel before 12 am.
The room is great! Spacious and comfortable with a large bathroom. The room has a hair dryer, an iron with a board, and everything you need to make tea and coffee (as in all 5 star hotels in the UAE). We lived in a villa on the second line with a partial sea view.
Among the shortcomings, I can note soundproofing, if you come across noisy neighbors, then from time to time you will hear them or, for example, the TV in the next room is too loud (there were a couple of cases in a week, but perhaps this is due to the fact that our room was connected door with an adjacent one).
The beach is big and clean. There will be enough sunbeds for everyone (there are always free ones near the pool), BUT if you want to sunbathe in a certain place (not far from your villa, for example), you will have to borrow sunbeds before breakfast. We came to the beach at about 7.30 - 90% of the sunbeds are occupied, only vacationers can appear on them after 10 or 11 in the morning. I don’t understand why sunbeds are borrowed and not used...
Food: do not wake up hungry, but somehow everything is monotonous. Dishes are many and different, but day after day the same thing. For a week, apart from fish, there were no other seafood (shrimp, squid). There is also a choice of fruits, but for mangoes, grapes or bananas you have to go to the store.
One of the main advantages of this hotel: Al Hamra Mall (large shopping center) is a 15-minute walk away. We bought drinks, beer, wine, fruit, chocolate. Alcohol in the hotel is not cheap: a glass of wine 40 AED, in the store they took a bottle for 45; beer in the hotel 30 AED, in the store a package of 6 cans - 35.
We went to Manar Mall (taxi 40 - 45 AED) the products are a little cheaper, we bought an iPhone 7 in Carrefour. the price is a little cheaper than in other stores, in particular in Dubai Mall, in comparison with prices in Ukraine, we saved 280 USD.
During our vacation in the sea there were blue jellyfish (sting like nettles), except for two days there were few of them, it is quite possible to swim and not be stung. A couple of times I almost stepped on a small slope, so it's better to carefully look under your feet. The sea is clean and warm!
We were satisfied with the hotel, we will probably visit it again. Recommend to those who like a quiet and relaxing holiday.
We lived in a Villa overlooking the garden, in the end you could see the sea. The territory is chic, green, a sea of flowers and palm trees! Very beautiful, like in paradise. The rooms are cozy and clean. Cleaned every day, put free of charge for 2 water and tea, coffee, cream.
Breakfast is excellent - for all tastes, a large selection and everything is very tasty.
The entrance to the sea is gentle, sandy. There are enough sun loungers for everyone. The only downside was the jellyfish.
The view on the beach is also very beautiful - piers lined with white stone, and luminous neighboring hotels. Sauna, gym and jacuzzi - free of charge.
The bus in Dubai is paid - 75 dirhams per person - this is about 150 UAH, not cheap. Drive about an hour. They are brought to Dubai Mall and back at 17.30. There is enough time for shopping and that's it. Bus in a day! This is a minus, because. queues. You can’t climb the Burj Khalifa - take tickets in advance, because if you want to go in immediately, pay 400 dirhams - 800 UAH!
Fantan show for a couple of minutes during the day, all after 18-00.
A 10-minute walk along a beautiful road with scenic views to the Mall, there are fast foods and a huge supermarket with shops, which is very convenient.
The hotel is not cheap to eat and drink - the store saves. Alcohol was not found, it is better to take it with you.
Excursions:
1. In Dubai survey 100 dollars
2. Safari $ 80 - it's worth it, believe me! Unreal feelings.
3. Boat - $120
The hotel is super! I will go again with pleasure.
The hotel is mostly Russians and foreigners 5050. And mostly families with children. Young people can be bored if parties are only for you in Dubai.
Just arrived from the UAE today!
We flew on a budget Fly Dubai! I would like to say the following: 1) new and clean aircraft; 2) a team that knows English, German, French, Arabic and Russian! That is, anyone will understand and be able to help! There is no food on the plane! Or rather, food is selected from the menu and paid separately! I can’t say that it’s expensive, but it’s also difficult to call the menu varied, and the food is delicious! But that's just my opinion!
I will answer the question that worried me before the flight! Can you bring food on a plane? - Can!! ! Water is strange! From Ukraine - it is impossible! (it happened to us), and from Dubai - no problem!
And finally! About the hotel
The rooms are not big, but cozy and clean! The bed and towels are white and smell delicious like powder or something! Further! Milking the inhabitants of the "village" in the rooms there are no slippers and towels! Also cups and teapot! But! You can ask for it at the reception for FREE!! ! But if you don’t ask, they won’t give it) the reasons for me have remained a mystery!
Each room has a balcony, quite large overlooking either the golf course or the pool and the restaurant!
The hotel is very calm and quiet! The staff is friendly!
Now about the beach and pools!
The beach is large, wide, a lot of sunbeds both in the sun and under umbrellas! There is a bar on the beach! Now for the cons! At the moment there is an active construction on the beach and in the bay! That is, who wants to see a beautiful endless "ocean" you do not go there! There you will see tractors, excavators and cranes! The entrance is not bad, but there are some pretty sharp rocks! So watch your feet!
About the bay! Now his temperature is about 32-35 degrees! This is not warm water! And hot! Although the morning (until 9-10) is very pleasant! But we are reasonable people and understand that there can be warm and cold currents! What also affects the water! The bay, or rather the water, is not transparent! But I think it's clean! There was no oil and jellyfish!
Further! Pools! There are 2 of them!!
In the "village" - the water is very warm! Not refreshing or cooling! Why ? Mystery! And when t air is more than 40! Yes, plus humidity - you want to freshen up in some water!
My advice to you! Go to the pool in the main building for several reasons! 1) they cool the water! 2) it is almost on the beach + near the tennis court and table tennis! And further! I'll jump ahead a little! Residents of both hotels in this complex have the right to have breakfast in the village and in the main building, that is, in the restaurant and 4k and 5k! In 5k the food is the same! There is only orange juice! And so....Well, I like the restaurant in the village more)
Now about food!
We had breakfasts and dinners! Dinner can be replaced with lunch if you wish! The food is delicious, fresh, cutlery and utensils are clean. . . Lots of fruit! I can’t say that the food is very diverse, but there is plenty to choose from!
I'm talking about drinks! Water on site, in all restaurants and bars is relatively expensive! Any liquid! For example! Pepsi 0.33 costs 18 dirhams! It's about 40 UAH! Beer 0.5 - 30 dirhams! Accordingly, around 65 UAH! For breakfast! Juices and coffee, tea - for free! Here are the prices for lunch and dinner! That's why! Take with you from your hometown, or buy in the local market! He is in the mall! 5 minutes drive from the hotel! There are small buses! From 19:00 every half hour! Free! the prices in the market are very good!
But this naturally applies to those who do not have all)
There are cafes and coffee houses and restaurants in the mall! The prices are the same as in Ukraine. . . So when will you book your meals! Calculate how much dinner at the hotel costs! In our case - about 40 dollars for two! That's enough head on! What to eat and not in the hotel! Order what you want, and not choose from what is! Well, of course, it's convenient for anyone)
Rest in this hotel, to be honest, - boring!
I would advise buying tours or in Dubai - shopping, incredible buildings, many entertainment options, etc!
Or if you want a relaxing holiday and a good bay-ocean, then this is Fujairah (maybe I didn’t spell the name of the emirate correctly)! The temperature is similar to Dubai! But water! Already transparent, and its temperature is about 25 degrees!
Excursions are expensive! All of the races of al-khaimah are not cheaper than 100 dollars per person!
I apologize for mistakes, prints! Wrote from phone)
The food is good, the weight gain is noticeable. Various. But. . . If you paid for dinner, get ready for additional payments (for wine and drinks - this is natural, but each time they charge 44 dirhams per person (about $ 12) for a variety of dishes! Well, 40-50 dollars a day extra - this is nonsense, but the impression that you are specifically bred is persistent. By the way, you can pay in dollars and euros.
The beach is pure fine sand. In the morning, even before breakfast, the Italians and Germans grab the sunbeds. You need to take a towel from the pool and then grab free sunbeds before breakfast. there may be queues for breakfast in the restaurant if you go there after eight. Whoever got up first - that and slippers!
My wife is sad - in stores in Dubai the assortment is worse than in St. Petersburg and, attention - not cheaper, but even somewhat more expensive! Fairy tales about duty-free shopping are personally verified by her, and in this case I trust her.
Excursions. There is nothing special to see and it is terribly hot. Worthy excursion - to Musandam (Oman). Very relaxing, everyone dived and admired the corals, swam right in the ocean, and they ate.
About the bad. ABOUT VERY BAD. We and all other races were not immediately settled in the booked hotel, but were put in a satellite hotel - Hut Springs, in the mountains, 40 minutes from the sea. If you read the review of one of the tourists about the Lebanese manager, then I can confirm: the bastard is top-notch. Removes our reservations and sells the hotel for various conferences and meetings. As a result, you find yourself in the mountains, but in the garbage. The hotel there is wonderful, but there is nothing around and there is nothing to ride on! At night we slept under blankets and in dressing gowns - the air conditioner did not turn off. Pay attention - only Russians were mocked like that, then he himself watched how the British, Germans and others were settled, and ours were sent to the "stump", which indicates the poor quality of the host travel agency. The next day, I nevertheless achieved a check-in at the purchased hotel (I myself worked in this business and I know the nuances), but other tourists were kept away for another 3 days (out of 10! ). True, they had to ride us a lot and for free, but here we did not miss our own. Yelling and scandal in this situation is useless. There is a Russian-speaking girl from Belarus, but she is a purely technical worker and will not help you in any way, she will just translate.
The sea washed away all sorrows. Only shy stingrays and small fish are found in it. The water temperature is about 30 degrees. The tide was clear and there were waves. At a distance of 100 meters from the shore it becomes deep, and so - waist-deep. Children expanse.
You can rest. You can even take a break. But Rhodes is better.
Only the main manager of the hotel left unpleasant memories of himself, a Lebanese by origin, I don’t remember his name. Completely arrogant, unrestrained boor and dishonorable person. He organizes excursions through our former compatriot Marina, whether he shares with the hotel or puts money in his pocket, I don’t know. We (18 people of Russian tourists) booked an excursion to Dubai, but on the day of the excursion it started to rain heavily. And instead of rescheduling the tour to another day or returning the money, we were still sent to Dubai. The situation in Dubai was not known to us and we went into this nightmare. Apparently, the organizers of the tour were only interested in fucking $ 60 per person, and they didn’t give a damn about our life and health.
Driving closer to Dubai, in the Sharjah region, we saw that the roads were turning into rivers (drainage was either missing or not working), the windows were dirty from the rain and foggy from moisture, the traffic jam was growing, and in Dubai cars were floating up to the roof in the water. There was no question of any exclusion. Everyone unanimously decided to go back, which was reported to both Marina in Ras Al Khaimah and the guide who was waiting for us in Dubai. But it wasn’t there, they instructed the driver to continue driving to the appointed point (as they didn’t want to return the money), the driver didn’t comply with our requirements to turn around, moreover, he didn’t even let us go to the toilet, as we didn’t ask him about it, opportunities to do it in a civilized way was as much as necessary. As a result, all our tourists, and half were women, had to relieve themselves in front of many kilometers of traffic jams. by that time we were already 5 hours on the road.
When we finally got to Dubai, no one had any doubts that we would spend the night on the bus, there was no turning back. But God took pity on us, the driver received advice by phone and despite his low qualifications (he doesn’t know roads, how to drive a bus, or English), we escaped from Dubai in a terrible traffic jam in a few hours. The next day, in a polite manner, without raised tones, we demanded that Marina return the money to us, we simply did not have the strength to go on an excursion on another day. She led us to this Lebanese manager. This boor talked to us disrespectfully, literally started yelling at us, we didn’t give him a reason for this, he talked about some kind of contract, he didn’t want to return the money. I wanted to tear the ticket and leave it on his table, but other tourists did not support me, maybe rightly so. I remind you that it was about 60 dollars per person, I was disgusted to look at this manager of a respectable hotel. Not for the sake of boasting, but for the sake of comparison, I’ll say that I left the Emirates, not counting the tour, about $ 6.000, and we had to beat half with force ($ 30 per person). It's disgusting... I would very much like the administration of Natalie Tour and the boss of this Lebanese manager to read my review.
