Maybe I'm not very spoiled by five-star hotels, but so good service, quality, food, etc. - I haven't met yet. All cool:
1. We arrived at 8:30 in the morning, but we didn’t have to wait for the check-in time of 14-15:00, we were immediately settled, we didn’t even have to ask : ), and they were also treated to a non-alcoholic cocktail with ice.
2. And not just settled, but upgraded the room. How surprised we were when instead of 43 meters we got huge apartments, probably 140 meters! Two bedrooms, a huge dining-living room with a window to the kitchen, 2 balconies overlooking the canal and the marina and a huge 40-meter terrace overlooking the sea, with sofas, a table and two sunbeds... and we found the bathrooms gradually, There were already 4 of them (! ). There were two of us with a small child, so there was no need to take full advantage of these royal mansions). But the generosity of the staff was a pleasant surprise.
3. The reception staff helped with everything. The service is excellent, there were several Russian-speaking employees and a girl from Ukraine who printed out a map of Dubai for me and marked where the sights were and how best to get to them, by what transport. The guys from the reception tell me everything - where and how to save money, where is the best exchange rate. The employee offered to help me buy Burj Khalifa tickets online (so that I save money, it’s cheaper online) and print them out. When I said that there were no funds on the card, he even offered to pay from my card, and I returned it to him in cash. In short, they solve your problems and tasks and make it easier for the client. And all this is free.
4. A big advantage of the hotel - friendship with the neighboring hotel La Royal Meridian (more expensive) - which has a huge green area with swimming pools and a private beach with access to the sea. You can walk there on foot - about 10 minutes, or on a shuttle bus that runs there / from there every 15 minutes - it will also take about 10 minutes, since the bus goes around everything and stands at traffic lights. But it’s safer, you don’t need to run across the lanes. The hotel on the 4th floor has its own swimming pool and its own relaxation area with a sauna, a Turkish hammam, a Roman steam room, a jacuzzi (everything is cool, expensive, and there are almost no people, you can hang alone), but it’s better to go to Leroy Meridian, since it’s there not on the floor, but in nature, and there are 2 pools (they even say 3, but I didn’t see the third one). Few hotels in Dubai can boast a beach within walking distance, much less their own private beach. Almost all hotels take you to the beach once a day, and this is not a convenient time for everyone, here you can either walk 10 minutes to a private beach, or a bus runs every 15 minutes.
5. Food - 5 points out of 5. I have never been fed lobsters on buffets anywhere else : ). You can choose either one of 5 restaurants with cuisines from different countries (one of them even has a Michelin star), or eat at a restaurant with a buffet - which we constantly chose. Because the dishes there are expensive and delicious, the terrace has a view of the skyscrapers, the restaurant itself is of a high level. A lot of seafood - mussels, grilled shrimp, shrimp in sauce, boiled shrimp, twice for dinner there were lobsters, constantly mussels, steaks from different types of meat and fish, fried in front of you, you can choose the degree of roasting. Cheese brie, cheddar, gouda, parmesan and many others, for breakfast coffee, latte is not instant like in most hotels in Dubai, but custard. Melons, watermelon, strawberries, dates, papaya, pineapple, etc. There are a lot of oriental sweets, such as rahutlukum, ice cream.
There were also minor disadvantages, but it is so insignificant that it makes no sense to mention it, since it did not affect the mood and comfort in any way. You have to be very spoiled to cling to some moments here. Still, hotels of this level with this location - (Dubai Marina, proximity to the sea, access to a private beach, reviews about 9 out of 10 on all resources, 5 stars, a series of luxury hotels) - are in a higher price category. On booking, the price of this hotel is also not very low, but promotions are constantly held and you can book at a good price.
Standard room in Tower One. Spacious, 2 double beds, panoramic windows, no balcony, but a window opens. Stunning views of the skyscrapers of the Marina or the sea. Standard set: bathrobes, slippers, iron, ironing board, safe, bottles of water, tea and coffee set. BULGARI cosmetics.
Wi-Fi is free throughout the territory and in the rooms.
Infrastructure. Shuttle to Le Meridien beach free of charge from 7 am to 8 pm every 15 minutes. Beach towels for free. Outdoor pool on the 4th floor. Bar on the 44th floor. Budha Bar admission is free. The nearest nightclub is across the road at Habtoor Hotel.
Nutrition.
The breakfast buffet had a choice: salmon, sushi, taki-maki-yaki (Japanese food), brie, emmental, papaya, pineapple, lychee.
Contingent. Businessmen and lovers of a beautiful and bright hotel holiday with nightly entertainment.
I would like to note the restaurant, a cozy hall, a huge selection of dishes, everything is edible and tasty, the chefs are interested in whether everyone likes it.
the hotel has a common beach with Le Royal Meridien Beach, a bus runs, 5 minutes drive, comfortable. All beach accessories are issued at Le Royal Meridien Beach, you do not need to bring it with you. The beach is just amazing!
Emotions a great many and all positive! Therefore, only facts and photos.
Settled within 20-30 minutes, room 2505, on the 25th floor, with a huge corner balcony and a STUNNING view of the surroundings (see photo). Everything in the room is functional and comfortable. VERY comfortable bed, slept like in paradise.
The deposit was not paid (they offered to pay 2000 dirhs), we said that we would pay cash, they did not insist. Then they still wrote to the number, no problem.
The service is at a very high level, while you are absolutely not disturbed in any way, in fact, this is the “aerobatics” of the service. Everywhere there are concierges who will tell you where everything is, which elevator to take, put you in a taxi, open the doors, etc. etc.
There are always Russian-speaking girls Ksenia and Olesya at the guest relation, you can also get a bus schedule to the Emirates Mall, the bus to Dubai Mall was CANCELLED, so either by taxi - 100 dirhams round trip, or metro 22 dirhams round trip for two. If the golden class metro is 2 times more expensive, but it's not worth it, there is practically no difference! 10 minutes walk to the subway.
A bus runs to the beach of the neighboring Le Meridian every 15 minutes, until 2 am, there is a chic area, very green, large, three pools, all kinds of living creatures walk, you can use the entire infrastructure of the hotel and write to your room, very convenient!
Breakfasts are sooooo delicious, from 6 to 11 in the morning, they came running once at the beginning of the 12th (we slept on magic beds)), and nothing, we ate FULLY, no one thought to kick us out or defiantly remove the plates, as it happened more than once in the same Turkey!
The pool on the 4th floor is small, carries fruits and cold water, after 12 it begins to close the shadow of the second tower, but until two there is still a place in the sun.
By the way, I do not agree with the conventional wisdom that the second tower is better. We were specifically asked to show us the rooms, firstly, there are no ordinary deluxe suites, only apartments of different categories, respectively more expensive, the interior is not so beautiful, the views from the windows, and the pool is in the shade earlier than our pool in the first tower.
We were in the famous Buddha bar, a bar on the 44th floor, a Turkish restaurant, to be honest, quite ordinary establishments (as for us), I didn’t understand why everyone is so worn with them)).
Near the hotel, around the corner, there is a beautiful MARINA embankment, with yachts, countless cafes for every taste, the lights of skyscrapers reflected in the water…
The WALK is another walking street, located at a distance from the hotel, consists entirely of cafes, shops, and a narrow road stretches along it, along which on weekends, and here it is Thursday and Friday, the owners of luxury cars arrange their “promenade”, Well, this is a MUST SEE. Such a number of Bentleys, Ferraris, Lamborghinis, Maserati, Mercedes convertibles, not to mention Lexus, BMW, Audi, etc. "ordinary" cars, on the same street at the same time, can probably be seen somewhere only in Cannes).
Excursions. Six Emirates (with a visit to Oman and swimming in the Indian Ocean), Modern Dubai (Aquarium in Atlantis, photo near Sail, climb to Burj Khalifa, fountain show), Abu Dhabi (the capital) with a visit to the largest mosque in the world), Safari on jeeps in the desert - I liked everything, we recommend it. A clear organization, Russian-speaking guides, normal food, well-thought-out stops, a lot of informative information (it’s true how lucky you are with a guide), everything is super!
Shopping. This goal was not pursued by us. Been twice to Dubai Mall, once to Emirates. Prices did not seem low, even with sales discounts. We did not look for other stores, because. there just wasn't enough time.
Departure. Again, the hotel was a pleasant surprise. NO ONE RECEIVED OUR NUMBER. They didn’t count towels, glasses, nuts in the mini bar, broken dishes, whether the TV was working... there was no nasty, tortured maid... They handed over the cards and good bye! This is the first time)))
In general, a lot of interesting things. Who will have questions about the hotel, write, I will be happy to answer.
Rooms with the latest design. All with chic, expensive and solid. First class service. The only inconvenience is the beach of the neighboring hotel, but at any moment they can deliver a Mercedes mini bus. drive 3 minutes. Highly recommend to those who want to get a good impression of the UAE!
