Good day to all. From 4.10 to 11.10 I managed to visit the UAE, we stayed in the Bur Dubai area, the Savoy Central Hotel Apartments. Briefly about our family, we ordered 3 rooms, Studio Executive, among us adults there were also children 3 and 11 years old. We arrived in the UAE quite late, at the junction of 4 and 5.10, check-in at the hotel did not take even 5 minutes. We got the rooms on the 7th (penultimate floor), all three rooms are next to the view of the wasteland. I want to note right away that the hotel has some rooms with balconies, these rooms are located on the front of the hotel. Unfortunately, we didn’t have balconies, but we didn’t ask in advance, but in vain. The balconies had chairs and a dryer. By the way, you can ask for a dryer in a room without balconies, there are no problems with their presence, they bring it on demand. Upon checking into the hotel at the reception, we were met by a very smiling manager, asked for passports, promising to return them the next day. Promise kept. There is no deposit at the hotel. On the day of arrival, the hotel could not be considered, and did not want to. One thought - to sleep, after a tiring road (we flew to Abu Dhabi airport). In the morning, waking up early, we went out for breakfast, it is served from 7 to 10.00 in the morning right there almost at the entrance to the hotel, in the restaurant area. Separately, I will say about breakfast. For all 7 days of stay, neither we nor our children had any food poisoning, the only caveat was that my 3-year-old child, who was used to porridge in the morning, had to get hooked on scrambled eggs. There were always 4 varieties of cheese, 2 varieties of sausages, vegetable cuts from tomatoes, cucumbers, carrots, corn and other greens, olives, hummus, fresh and tasty yogurt, sweet yogurt with fruits, fresh fruits (watermelons, melons, pineapples, bananas) ). There are 4-5 hot dishes, usually beans, grilled vegetables, potatoes (some sort of sweetish), one meat dish is required (sausages, chicken cutlets, meat rolls), for dessert pancakes, pancakes, waffles with maple syrup, pie with date jam, donuts, muffins, dates themselves. Two types of good juice, by no means yupi, are either pineapple, or orange, or mango, or guava juices. Water, tea, coffee. And traditional egg dishes: omelettes with different toppings, you choose to your taste, fried eggs, boiled eggs. There was also milk and several types of cereal. We sorted out breakfast. Let's move on: transfer to the beach. In this regard, there are absolutely no complaints. The bus was served at 10.00 and at 14.00 picked up tourists from the beaches, the journey took about 10 minutes. Mats and beach towels are provided free of charge before departure. Everything is in good shape and condition. If there were many tourists, the hotel provided a second bus. If desired, they are taken either to the municipal beach for free or to Jumeirah Park beach. We mostly went to public beach. It seemed cleaner there, and we could put umbrellas close to the coastline.
Let's go back to the hotel, on the site of the hotel itself there are old photos of the lobby, the restaurant, apparently not so long ago there was a renovation, because. everything is updated and designed in turquoise-green tones. The staff at the hotel are very polite and helpful. Nice faces. They do their job quite well. Let's go back to the number. As I said earlier, we came across 3 rooms located nearby. All these rooms are connected, with an interior door, if desired, the staff will give you access to freely visit each other at any time of the day. The rooms are large enough, the photos on the site match reality. Shabby furniture, dirty smudges on the walls were not observed. The room has a small equipped kitchen, everything worked properly, at first we could not deal with the stove, but then we managed to defeat it. I must say right away that we initially chose an apartment-type hotel in order to be able to feed the child with adapted food at any time. Bed linen was changed 4 times in a week! Towels every day. The site gives information that Wi-Fi in the rooms is paid, in fact it turned out to be free, the code is issued at the reception and use it as much as you want. Cleaning was also meticulous, especially after leaving a tip. The air conditioning system in the rooms is individual. On the first night, the noise of the hotel's air conditioning systems working on the 8th floor (above us) was a little disturbing. But we came happy and tired, fell asleep and did not hear anything later. The hotel has a small swimming pool, 4 umbrellas, 12 sun loungers. Towels are provided. Opening hours from 7.00 to 22.00. There is a small gym and a sauna. Everything is free. The hotel is located in the Hindu quarter (the street is dirty in itself), there are several good supermarkets nearby. Al Fahidi Metro Station is 800 meters away. It could be closer, especially when you come back, but these are trifles, it’s also nice to take a walk. Near the subway there is a McDonald's and a Day to Day souvenir shop. Not far from the hotel there is an Iranian restaurant Caspian, reasonable prices, good food. Here is a brief overview of the Savoy Central Hotel. We really liked him. This is not our first trip to the UAE, before that we stayed at the Deira Fortuna Grand Hotel and the Grand Hotel Sharjah. This time we chose the Bur Dubai area and, in principle, did not regret it. I hope I didn't bore anyone with my long story! Have a good holiday everyone!
