Just returned from a week long trip! I liked the city of Dubai very much, there are not even words here, just a fairy tale! But I want to tell about the hotel to those who are going there. If you don't speak English it will be difficult, all the staff are English speaking. Mostly Indians stay at the hotel, and, accordingly, breakfasts are for them, but there were days when they cooked a little and with a European bias.

We got a room on the 2nd floor, from 11 p. m. music began to rattle in the bar, ask for higher rooms. The furniture in the hotel, as I understand it, is old everywhere, in the c / a tile - savdep. No deposit is taken upon entry. Refrigerator, hair dryer and TV. There was no set for tea, which was very lacking! Two bottles of water stood on the first day at the entrance, but they put it only once. Tual. paper and soap accessories put as needed, clean and change towels every day. There is no balcony, the windows open a little. The room is constantly damp, swimwear did not dry out overnight, but this is probably due to the humid climate. The metro is far away, we only used taxis, there are a lot of them. But taxi drivers were often confused with a different panorama in the Dubai bar, they had to show a map from the hotel and, accordingly, more expensive in terms of money. The staff are all smiling and friendly. Near the hotel there is a small shop with everything you need, from the hotel turn right and after 20 m it will be. In general, nothing like a hotel, all the same 3 stars, but next time we will pick up closer to the metro and more with European guests!

My wife and I were in the UAE at the SEASHELL INN HOTEL (BUR DUBAI) 3 * from 16.12. 2011 to 23.12. 2011. A little about excursions 1) Safari in the desert. Cool excursion, but not suitable for those who are motion sick in transport. Take a jacket or cape with you as it will be cool in the desert in the evening.

A little about excursions
1) Safari in the desert. Cool excursion, but not suitable for those who are motion sick in transport. Take a jacket or cape with you as it will be cool in the desert in the evening.
2) A trip to the Indian Ocean through OMAN on a yacht. The trip to the yacht is no way at all. We drove around Oman for 10 minutes out of 2 hours. Small fishing village. Then the whole excursion on the yacht. Do not count on a snow-white beauty 40 meters long. Fishing on the yacht will be about 40 minutes with me, the tourists really caught fish, but three out of ten people caught a small one. Fishing on the donk is therefore not very interesting. In general excursion for those who just want to relax. There won't be many bright impressions.
3) Water park in the Atlantis hotel. It's a really cool place. Worthy to visit.
4) Visit on your own.
Burj Khalifa (ticket purchased a day or two before climbing the tower will cost less, if it is the same day it will be 4 times more expensive)
Fish market . It works from 16:00. three meter sharks and a bunch of small ones are impressive.
And the prices are very loyal, but bargain. We bought a three-kilogram shark for 50 dirhams and he asked for 100. But this does not work with lobsters and lobsters, they are practically not inferior. You can cook them there in the market, not bad enough. Cooked in a building near the market in the window 10 dirhams per kilogram. If you are offered by a seller or another person in the market to cook your catch. This means that he himself runs to this window or
Singing fountains Located near the Dubai Mall and near the Burj Khalifa opening hours 19:00 interval 30 minutes. They work until 23:00. The metro station is also called dubai mall/burj khalifa
A little about the hotel.
1) If you see in the description of the hotel that there is a swimming pool, you should know that this is not true. There is no pool in the hotel.
When asked the hotel guide about the presence of a swimming pool in the hotel, she evasively leaves him, saying that it was dry.
2) There is no safe in a standard room, but this is not a problem because there are free safe boxes at the reception. Access to them at any time.
3) The elevator works well. Didn't have to wait long.
4) The hotel is clean, well-groomed, but it is clear that it is not young.
5) Everything in the rooms is old, but this does not mean that it is broken or rotten. As in a well-maintained Soviet hotel. Cleaned every day and very carefully. There is one Russian channel ORT.
6) Mostly Indians live in the hotel. Percent 70% about 10% Russian. They say the Indians are dirty and yell a lot and loudly. I did not notice this because I saw them only at breakfast. By the way, the breakfast is quite decent, you won't go hungry.
7) a minibus or two takes you to the beach every morning, depending on the number of people. And back at lunchtime.
8) To the nearest metro station (AL Fahidi green line) 10-15 minutes on foot, whoever walks.
Exit the hotel, turn right and walk until you see an unusual semicircular building. This will be the subway. This is an important point if you like to wander around the city but don't have much money for a taxi. There are troika hotels right next to the metro. If you plan to move around a lot, it is better to immediately take a permanent magnetic card for everyone and put 70 dirhams on it for each. She can also pay on buses. In the UAE, metro fares are based on distance.
9) Nearby there are several small shops like Pyaterochka, and a more serious hypermarket called CARREFOUR is a 15-minute walk away. It is straight from the hotel 300-400 meters near the bus station or go around the hotel and turn left and you will see two large gray containers in the distance. Reach them and turn right after 200-300 meters there will be this hypermarket.

We chose a hotel in the city, closer to the malls. The hotel is on computer street. There are many shops with office equipment. Metro 15 min walk. The hotel is exclusively Indian (staff, guests). From 23-00 the disco was screaming until 03-00. Kherson, in a word. The kitchen is a poor continental breakfast.

From 23-00 the disco was screaming until 03-00. Kherson, in a word. The kitchen is a poor continental breakfast. The staff is quiet, friendly. Wi-Fi-3USD per hour, you need to buy a number at the reception. TV channels - pieces 20 Indian, 4 English. Wouldn't want to go back there.
We got to all malls by taxi. "Dubai mall" is huge, but it is difficult to make specific purchases (children's clothes, women's bags, shoes). "Outlet Center" far from the center - there was nothing at all. "City Center" on Deira turned out to be the best option. "Pierre Cardin" and "Ted Lapidus" please with their 70% discounts. The "Dubai Mall" announced "happy hours" in "Beneton", caught up with the crush, and discounts of 20-30%.
On Naiser there are shops with cell phones, titanium disks, alarms, electrical goods, etc. All these goods can be bought cheaper than in Kazakhstan and Russia. Sotki with Russian menu and international guarantee.
All in all, happy shopping! Be careful with bu cars (may be with "unclean" numbers - there were victims).
