The room is modern, even beautiful, breakfast for 4 plus (buffet), the Internet is good, cleaned every day. By the standards of Barcelona or Paris, such a hotel would cost at least 100 euros per night and would be worth it.
Minuses:
1) There are transfers to the beach and to Mol, but the time is absolutely inconvenient. We rode the bus once, it took about 15 minutes to go, the price was 1.5 dollars, the rest of the times we took a taxi with another couple from the hotel, it cost about 3.5 dollars per person.
2) The surroundings of the hotel are completely ugly, some kind of poor migrant area.
If you bought a tour for 300 euros per person, and not for 150, you would still be satisfied, I recommend the hotel.
At night there was a precedent with neighbors, a young couple with children. There was a fight all over the room, a massacre between children and this noise. After a complaint to the administrators, they just apologized to us, but did nothing, since we were already leaving the next day, and this family still remained to rest further. It was a shocking moment, of course.
Nice patio near the hotel, quite cozy where you can sit. There are remote tables from the internal cafe. The lobby is currently under renovation. The hotel area is of course limited, but it is very close to the metro, maybe 500 meters. And the metro in Dubai is the main branch of life. We initially wanted to rent a car, but it turned out that it was not with European driving skills. There, everyone who drives less than 100 km / h is fined. Pedestrian paths and sidewalks do not exist there even in the very concept, because no one walks there. We realized that we simply could not cope with such a movement, even with our experience. That's why we decided to take the subway. All the main attractions of Dubai are tied to the main metro stations and this is very convenient. There were special transitions from the metro to the mall, so everything is convenient in this regard.
There is absolutely no animation in this hotel at all. But what they missed with was the pool. Perhaps it was in another Ibis that a pool was available, but it was not on the territory of our hotel. It’s good that we didn’t go for the purpose of swimming and relaxing, but we went to see the city more, to see the sights. But they bought into the fact that there was a pool, but in fact it was not. There was false information on the Internet. The ibis was located almost in a straight line from the sail, where there was a common public beach nearby. But the weather was cool there, people were swimming, but we didn’t go to the beach here.
The hotel is an economical option, if they corrected the food a little, then the hotel would correspond to the price / quality. And everything else was great, especially Dubai itself.
