The room was changed because it was offered on the 1st floor, I wanted it higher, paid extra, changed it to the 22nd floor with a great view of the city and the tower.
I was pleased with the presence of a washing machine, a very useful thing in the desert)))
We took BB, the breakfasts are not bad, but there are many guests, if you want to sleep a little longer in the morning, you can stay without a table.
There is a shuttle from the hotel to the beach, but the beach is far away and urban, not very good. However, the beaches are probably the last thing tourists go there for, so we will omit))
Pool on the top of the car park, cool, of course, but too many children, too, not much splashing.
It could also be attributed to the minuses the lack of territory near the hotel, i. e. benches and paths around, an abundance of vegetation, etc. , but this is forgivable since the hotel is located in the business center. Dubai Mall is very close, so I advise avid shopaholics to be careful)) so as not to empty all pockets ahead of time)))
Of course, there are cons, but everyone chooses for themselves, for example, the sea is not interesting to me, so I don’t take into account all the cons of a beach holiday.
There are few city and purely beach tourists in it, and those that are, of course, we are Russians, Ukrainians and others like us. An Italian couple accidentally wormed their way in. I judge by the contingent that went to the beach. Basically, Arabs with families and business people stay at this hotel.
At the reception there is one Russian-speaking man. We came across some kind of lazy guide. He did not sit at the hotel, but only came when one of the new tourists appeared. He promised us to find out the details about some kind of excursion and disappeared. I called him a couple of times and woke him up all the time, he slept during the day (((In general, he didn’t even know about Dubai’s Bastakia area !! ! I asked how to get there ourselves and he couldn’t answer !! ! He incorrectly oriented us about the dolphinarium. As a result, instead of Creek Park, we left for Atlantis, we had to urgently rush through the city to the park (we had already bought tickets via the Internet). In Dubai, it is inconvenient that there are no addresses in our understanding - street, house number, as they orient themselves, do not managed to understand.
We lived on the 14th floor in a two-room Deluxe One Bedroom Apartment wihtout Extra Bed. We are delighted with the room. This is a whole apartment, where there is a fully equipped kitchen area (stove, extractor hood, microwave, toaster, kettle, refrigerator, washer and dryer, dishes), a living area with plasma and sofas, a large table and chairs, a guest toilet, a bedroom with access to a balcony , one large bed and another large plasma, bathroom. The bedroom has a large wardrobe with a built-in safe with an electronic lock. No deposit was taken for the room. The safe was included in the price of the room, apparently, since we did not pay for it separately. Every day we were given a 1.5 liter bottle of water, tea, coffee, sugar, salt in bags. They didn't pay extra for it. There was no mini bar. The living room has a large, wall-to-wall window. Powerful air conditioning system with remote control. We even turned it off, as the child was cold. Cleaned every day, changed towels and linen. There is only one minus - a very, very dusty balcony, which we could not get to wash. But we didn’t really try, we said a couple of times))) The balcony is small, there is no furniture on it. We went out several times to admire the view and take pictures. And so... there was no need for it. Our windows overlooked the road, but there was no noise. Sail and the Persian Gulf could be seen in the distance. If you live below the 10th floor, you can see only skyscrapers and the street. Rooms like ours are located above the 8th floor, I think. When paying, we ordered the tour operator just such a number, so that later there would be no problems with unfulfilled expectations)))
There is a swimming pool on the roof of the car park. It is not very easy to find, there are many transitions. We used it a couple of times. It is small, the water is cool. There is a bar. There is also a gym and sauna. We were not there, as we arrived only for a week and our eyes ran wide.
Breakfasts were included in the price. The cafeteria is very small. Meals, a lot of cuts, fruits, porridge, toast, etc. Coffee and tea are brought, poured by the waiters. You pour your own juice. You can have lunch and dinner for an additional fee. There is also a cafe where you can drink coffee with sweets. You can order food in the room. We did not use this service)))
I drove a minibus to the beach, which included a person 16-18. No need to sign up. We really liked the beach. This beach is not near Parus, but closer to the pink mosque. Entrance is free, it is also called "Russian beach". Very, very wide coastline. Cabins for showers and changing clothes, paid sunbeds and umbrellas. On our own, we took a taxi to another public beach near Parus. It is very narrow and there are no sunbeds or umbrellas. There are changing cabins in the form of large round tables. It feels like you are lying on the road, people are walking by, men are sitting on the curbs, staring at the vacationers. We didn't go there again. We were also on the beach in Jumeirah Beach Park, the entrance is paid, sunbeds and umbrellas are paid. There were no towels that day. Wednesday is Women's Day. There is a cafe. The water is the cleanest on the Russian beach.
The taxis offered by the hotel are 2 times more expensive than the city ones. When you leave the hotel, you are immediately offered a taxi. I must say that the city. They wave their hand and the city police will drive up. They are there in line for customers.
Dubai Mall and Burj Khalifa are one stop away. We somehow decided to take a short walk. As a result, we got to the construction site, had to return, went along the subway. From the subway to the Dubai mall, cut another 800 meters along the transition. But, as we later learned, the subway has a bus that takes you to the mall and we even saw it. but didn't know where to go
Every day at 15:00, a minibus takes those who wish from the hotel to the Dubai Mall for free. We went once, we were alone on the bus))) They have a very interesting subway, we bought cards that can be replenished. Payment depending on the distance, I will not say that it is cheap. There is a women's carriage. If you are alone with a child, without a man, it is more convenient to ride in it. If you are with a man, then in the other cars. My daughter and I traveled in common carriages, but it was somehow uncomfortable there. A lot of colored men, no one gives up their place. Apparently, because you need to go in women's clothing))) Of course, no one sticks and stares, but...
