Part 18. Long Beach. Phu Quoc.
Day fourteen, beach, December 18.2015.
The most beautiful beach in Phu Quoc is Bai Sao beach, which I showed in the previous series, it's a pity that there is nowhere to live there. Perhaps I don’t know everything, but what we saw on Booking can hardly be called a beach hotel. Therefore, we chose the Long Beach beach for relaxation.
Of course, there are other beaches on the island, but they do not have the advantages of the above - the beauty of Bai Sao and the infrastructure of Long Beach.
Although Long Beach has all the exotic attributes - palm trees, and sunsets, and fruits, and massages, and restaurants at the water's edge, and so on and so forth, you can't call it heavenly pleasure. You will invariably feel provincial and cannot fail to notice that the country is poor.
Either you will see that the sunbeds are not the first freshness, then you will notice how the massage therapists sleep on those trestle beds on which clients are laid, then you will be surprised by the design of the restaurant.
Or the look of a spa on the beach. But all this is cute and somehow even stylish.
And the Long Beach itself is quite decent and there are not so many people there to be capricious.
And now our beach vacation is already over, and we understand that we have not seen the beach yet. That is, we swam and sunbathed, but we haven’t gone anywhere yet! )
Therefore, having plenty of swimming in the unexpectedly overflowing sea, we go for a walk along the beach towards Duong Dong.
The day turned out to be gloomy, it rained at night and the sea overflowed very strongly, literally winning back half of the beach. And in some places almost all.
A very bright cafe is unspeakably happy in such weather. We even wanted to sit there, but the day was drawing to a close, and we hadn't gone very far. We thought and moved on.
Long Beach is really a long beach. But cozy enough.
It was very pleasant to walk along it in cool weather.
In the end, we went to some hotel and ate a divine dessert and drank coffee. Remember, I told you that Vietnamese desserts are not always successful? But this one turned out delicious!
The restaurant itself was located in a very pleasant garden.
And everything was so beautiful, so sweet ...
until they brought the bill) Here I and tediously tried to find out from them what the hell where the extra money came from, for which I am confident and scientifically > explained that we chose coffee with condensed milk, which costs more and even showed the position on the menu.
And you know what I thought?
I have heard and read more than once about the dishonesty of the Vietnamese and their slandering us, poor tourists. And she was always alert. But perhaps all this has rather banal roots - they do not know how to explain the nuances or we do not want to listen to explanations.
During the entire trip, I never met a frank divorce. Several times it seemed to me that they wanted to deceive us and I got into a showdownnervous, but each time, either the justice of their demands was brought to me, or the situation was resolved in a different way. And the case with the windbreaker in Hanoi was generally indicative.
I'm not sure that if I had left a windbreaker on a bench somewhere in my homeland, I would have found it one hundred percent in an hour in the same place. In Hanoi, no one touched her.
It is possible that in Vietnam there are people who are not averse to cashing in on you or profiting from your good, but the fact that they do not go in crowds is a fact) Many stories are just horror stories.
After walking a little more, we returned "home", photographing various beauties along the way.
We saw how sand was poured.
Found a cute beach decoration.
And a rocking chair)
Loved the loving couple. Or unloved.
And evening fell on the island of Phu Quoc.
It was our last evening on the island. Tomorrow we will start our journey home. We're leaving for the mainland.
Phu Quoc was very sad about the upcoming separation) And he lit a real show for us.
The sunset was amazing!
No photo editor defiled sunset photos) A photo from a phone cannot convey the grandeur of the picture that nature painted for us, but a photo editor will not be able to bring it closer to reality. Just imagine what exactly we saw if I show you only a faint resemblance. . .
We dined on a shark and finally fought off politically savvy former compatriots. They tried to take us prisoner and shoot us for "ignorance of history".
Funny) How could anyone ruin our mood on such an evening? )
