After reading the reviews and hoping for their reality for a holiday in Nha Trang in July 2015, my husband and I chose the Best Western Premier Havana Nha Trang Hotel 5 *.
Already on the spot, we learned that Havana 5 * is one of the largest five-star hotels in the world, and its opening took place in January 2013, that is, it is completely new. It is a forty-one-story building with a special, fashionable, modern design, that is, it is brand new. We were pleased that the hotel supports the fight for the cleanliness and environmental friendliness of the environment, so it is made of materials such as marble, wood and other natural
Like any hotel, Havana begins with the reception, which on the day of arrival we were at 9 am and despite this we were settled. It seems that we were very nice and kind and got a room on the 29th floor with a magnificent panoramic sea view.
Actually, here all the rooms have a wonderful view, but the higher, the more beautiful it is; ) The reception is open 24 hours a day. All employees speak Vietnamese and English, some of them speak Russian very well. Next to the stairs in Havana 5 * there is a desk with excursions, where we took interesting excursions to the famous mud. The hotel also has free parking for all hotel guests, but we did not need it. We were charged a $200 deposit upon check-in.
The room was spacious, comfortable and very, very cozy. It turned out to be fully equipped: plasma, kettle, dishes, mini-bar, a rather big safe, bottled water, all necessary toiletries, a hairdryer, air conditioning, etc. We used Wi-Fi both in the room and in the common areas of the hotel: in the halls restaurant.
We managed to stay in the deluxe room.
It consists of a large room with bathroom and rain shower.
We heard that some of the rooms have adjacent doors to each other, and this is not very comfortable due to the noise. But again, the guests who were not happy with it changed it to another without any problems.
Room cleaning was carried out daily, but its quality seemed to depend on the shift and or the degree of fatigue of the maids))
We were delighted with the food at the hotel! It is simply excellent, very diverse and tasty. It is in the form of a buffet that we love so much, and, if desired, various dishes were prepared from fresh seafood right in front of us. And even my husband, who hates these "bastards", ate everything with pleasure) And in the room, by the way, there is a menu from which you can order whatever your heart desires, even during the day or at night.
The staff are all friendly, polite, friendly, they help to solve the problems that have arisen, of which there are few in this hotel.
As a sports lover, I can't help but mention the chic fitness center of this hotel, equipped with a huge number of machines. There is also a yoga room. So she didn’t lose her shape even on vacation. We do not like it, but many lovers of steam went to the sauna, divided into two complexes: male and female. Of course, the hotel has a huge, beautiful swimming pool with sun loungers.
Unfortunately, even such a seemingly ideal hotel for us had drawbacks. We have to admit, we are a family of smokers, and you can’t smoke on the territory of the hotel, and the only allowed place is only on the street (of course, you can risk smoking in the room, but we regretted the money for fines. We also really missed the balcony. Of course, this is not such a big need, but still you want to admire this view while sitting at a table and drinking juice) And by the way, there are balconies in only a few rooms.
The insufficient number of sun loungers and umbrellas on the beach did not allow us to sleep on vacation, because we love to sunbathe in comfort, so we had to get up early. That's all, not so monstrous, and quite such subjective disadvantages that we found in Havana 5 *.
Returning to the advantages of the hotel, we note its location, because it is very successful and comfortable. Like most of the other hotels in Nha Trang, it is located next to the sea, but only it has its own underground passage right to the beach, which we must say was very impressed, we encountered such a miracle for the first time. From the hotel, we easily got by bus to many attractions of Nha Trang, such as the Long Son Pagoda, Ponagor, the Rock Garden, the Institute of Oceanology and many others. Also near the hotel is the central square with the Lotus Tower, the Nha Trang shopping center, the Night Market that we love, many cafes and restaurants.
The Cho Dam and Maksimark markets are also very close to the hotel.
We didn't miss the opportunity to party at the two-story Zima Club, located right in front of our hotel. It has such a joyful, cheerful, friendly, carefree atmosphere, Russian staff, great sound, a huge dance floor. The bar has very tasty cocktails, most of all I liked fruit shots. The music is modern, club, but there are also disco 90 parties. We got on an interesting show program with live performances, we think they are not uncommon here. There is also a karaoke room) In short, we did not have to be bored next to the Zima Club!
As a result, we can say with confidence that the Havana 5 * hotel fully justifies its category and we will be happy to return there again!

The crossing over the road is not completed, you have to run between motorcycles. There are no umbrellas and sunbeds on the beach at all. The beach is public. Pegasus did not warn us about this. THE HOTEL TAKES A DEPOSIT (DEPOSITION) 50 BACK PER NIGHT. Pegasus kept silent about this. We didn't have any extra cash and gave Visa to the credit card. They reserved the amount on it, and when we left it turned out that the amount would be returned only within 5-10 days. Like a sickle on me. And nowhere to go, you have to fly away. True, we are assured that this is in the order of things and we will not be deceived and the money will be returned to us. It remains to hope for the honesty of the Vietnamese. In general, Pegasus occupied everything in Nha Trang. There are no other operators. Tours are expensive. We took all the excursions in the city, there are a lot of Russian tour agencies with Russian-speaking guides. They have 2 times cheaper and no worse. Agencies are on 1.2, 3. streets. There basically flows the whole life of Nha Trang. In general, everyone liked the sea and the city and excursions, and the local people themselves. My opinion is that you can and should ride, but not with Pegasus - a tourist, he only needs to rip off more money, and then he doesn’t need you. My conclusion is this, walk-walk tourist, BUT THINK WITH YOUR HEAD. I will be glad if my review is at least someone useful. If anyone knows how to make a correct claim for the stolen 20 hours and to whom please write, I will be grateful.
